Junhui stretched as he climbed out of the carriage, helping Minghao out as well. They had just stopped outside of Dapingxiang, deciding to set up camp and grab more supplies, as this was the last town and supply stop they would be able to make for a few days. Minghao stretched beside him, wincing slightly as he felt something pull in his back. He quickly glanced at Junhui to see if he noticed, sighing softly when he noticed the prince looking the other way, talking to a soldier. 

"What should we do while we wait for our tent to be ready? Do you want to eat something?" Junhui asked, turning his attention back towards his bloodmate. Minghao shrugged, biting back a grimace.

"I'd be fine doing whatever it is you want to do," Minghao answered simply, watching the soldiers unload the carriages. He still felt weird about not working, but Junhui tried to distract him from it normally.

Junhui hummed, stopping a worker and asking them to grab them some food for a meal and some cleaning bandages. "How about we go find a quiet place to sit and we can eat?" Junhui asked, turning to Minghao with a basket of what he assumed was food in his hand. Minghao blinked, silently wondering where that came from when his hands were just empty a moment ago. He nodded, reaching out to take the basket. He stopped himself with a small huff, letting Junhui lead the way to where they can eat. Junhui found a nice spot to sit under the shade of a tree, immediately sitting down with Minghao. Minghao pulled the basket closer to him, opening it to serve both of them. He pulled out the dishes of food, before confusedly pulling out the rolled-up bandage.

"You just changed my bandage at our last supply stop..." he trailed off, looking at him oddly.

"I know that I did, but I also know that you fell when we were getting cleaned at our last resting spot and you probably got dirt in your wounds and covered it back up with this bandage."

"I fell on my front - wait, how would you know that I fell?" Minghao asked, giving him a suspicious glare. 

"Um- I know because- because one of the servants told me."

"No, they didn't. I didn't have any servants with me-" Minghao stopped himself, lightly slapping his mouth. Junhui raised an eyebrow, looking a
