Chapter 10
My PetJunhui stretched, standing outside of the carriage as they gathered supplies in Guanzhong. Minghao stood beside him, looking around in wonder. Junhui glanced at the boy, thinking for a minute.
"Yang, are you hungry?" Minghao looked at him, a bit of surprise on his face.
"I- uh, yes, a little bit. Why do you ask?"
Junhui ignored him, instead turning to a citizen of Guanzhong. "Excuse me, is there somewhere we could eat while they load up the supplies?" The citizen nodded, pointing them in the direction of a tavern. Junhui nodded to him in thanks, walking with Minghao towards the tavern. He watched Minghao look around in awe, a soft smile playing on his face. He ordered for Minghao as they sat at a table in the tavern, before turning to face the boy. "I feel as though we don't get talk enough, Xueku ."
Minghao looked at him. "All we do is talk, Junhui." He said with a smile.
"Not enough. I don't know anything about you. All I know is your name. I don't even know your age." Minghao froze, looking at him.
"I- huh, I guess we didn't talk about me much... I'm 20 years old. What else would you like to know?"
"I'm assuming you never left town much, and you probably didn't see much on the way down to Shenzhen."
"What makes you say that?" Minghao questioned as the food was placed on the table. "I could have traveled tons of times."
