I think I know you
"Rose!"
Her voice echoed. She marched quicker throughout the spacious hallway, passing through gigantic windows like great slits in the thick walls. The only sound perceptible was the proud clicks and clacks of her high heels.
Her breath came in small spurts, hot and nervous. "Roseanne! I said wait!"
But Rose ignored the poor girl.
"I've rechecked my barriers. And I told you they're solid."
That one sentence managed to stop the slender lady on her track. The younger smiled confidently as she walked herself closer.
They continued to walk side to side.
"So...? What are you gonna do, Rose?"
Again Rose remained mute, steadily walking along the hallway.
"If you're so positive he saw you, you should've ended him right there and then! What were you thinking?!"
Rose heaved out a hard sigh, still stubbornly ignoring the younger.
"Rose... the authorities are gonna find out soon! You better take care of this before they found out, or are you seriously gonna deal with the aftermath? You know the punishment is not--!"
"UGH! God Damnit, Lisa! Stop bothering me! I'm already aware I'm in deep without you telling me!"
She shrugged the blondie away, walking a few steps away, before finally turning herself around. "Do me a favour and make yourself useful. Go find out his background!"
Lisa pouted, clearly unimpressed at her sudden order. "Why me? Why don't you do it yourself? Don't drag me into your problem!"
Suddenly, a flicker of red particles flew around Rose, spiralling every part of her, her body ever so efficiently. Rose smirked. "Well," she pointed at her body, "as you can see, my time is up! So... bye bye! And you better do it!"
And with that she disappeared into thin air.

Iced coffee in his left, bunch of papers in his right. Lips curled, head hung low, he strutted slowly along the empty courtyard towards his faculty building.
In a distance, a dazzling high glass building marked with the faculty's name in capital letters and all its students all tousled and tangled. Welcome to the land of engineers where spectactles are customary and mathematic is your staple food.
The usually bright and intelligent sophomore, Kim Mingyu, was way too quiet and absent-mind
