“Thanks for coming over,” You smiled and thanked your friends as they left the door of your new house. “See you around soon!”

You closed the door behind and see Seokjin slowly clearing the plates on the dining table.

“Oppa, just leave the dishes in the sink,” You said as you walked towards him, “I’ll just do it tomorrow,”

“Nope!” He replied as he stacked the plates on top of each other and brought it to the kitchen sink. “You know how I don’t like to leave the dishes undone,”

You sighed in defeat as you watched him put on the gloves and water faucet. The water began to run over the plates and you just stood by behind him, admiring those broad shoulders of his.

He felt your eyes on his back and asked, “Enjoying what you’re seeing?”

You smiled even though you knew he could not see you and slowly sneaked your hands from behind, giving him a back hug and resting your face on his back. It was so warm and you couldn’t help but take a sniff at him. He smelt nicer than usual today. Maybe because he knew you were inviting your close friends for the house warming party and so he made an effort to dress up as well.

“Do you like me so much?” He asked and continued to wash the plates.

You nodded and he felt it through his back and switched off the tap before taking off the gloves and turning around so that you were now facing him.   

With your arms still around his waist, he looked at you with a smile on his face but you could tell that he was getting tipsy from the glasses of red wine you and your friends opened just now. His cheeks were pink and whenever he gets slightly drink he would drown with you affections.

He leaned down for a light peck on your lips and you returned it without hesitation. He smiled at you and gave you another one on your forehead.

You were about to give him another peck on his lips but he stopped you before calling, “Jagiya, if you get this correct I will give you another kiss,”

You nodded your head as you wondered what he was about to ask you.

He smiled and released your hands from his waist before leaning against the kitchen counter and holding your right hand and swinging it lightly.

“How does a cow sound like when it laughs?” He asked, giving you a cheeky smile. “I thought of it just now and I think you might like it,”

By the time you heard it you knew it was going to take a long time before you get the answer correct. You enjoyed listening to his dad jokes but for sometimes it was so lame you swore you wanted to hit him in the head.

“Hajima…” You replied, slightly annoyed by how you have to answer his dad jokes before you can kiss him.

He pouted slightly and insisted on you to answer him. You swore to yourself besides him getting more affectionate when he’s tipsy, the other side effect was that he would start to bother you with dad jokes.

“I don’t know…”

He had a wide grin on his face and replied, “Moo-ah ha ha ha ha!”

You felt a cold wind blowing passed yourself while you did not find it as funny as he did while he just stood there and began to laugh by himself.

“Jagiya, isn’t it funny?!” He tried to speak between his own laughter and you see his face getting even redder.

You forced yourself to laugh a little before trying to get a kiss from him again but he just shook his head, telling you that you didn’t get the answer right and so you were not going to get a kiss from him.

You were slightly disappointed and tried to tickle him but he caught you by the arms and held both of your hands together so you were not able to touch him.

“Alright I will ask you another one and if you get it wrong, you can do whatever you want,” He tried to please you and finally agreed on it.

After all, how hard could the questions get.

“Do you know what’s the favourite colour of a hamburger?” He asked and tried to control his laughter again.

You thought about it seriously for a moment and looked at him. He was giving you that mischievous look and he shrugged his shoulders to show that he did not know anything.

“Can’t you give me a hint?” You tried to ask for help.

“Hmmmmm~ hint?” He patted your head lightly, “Welll….. its not white, black or grey,”

You thought about it again. Not white, black or grey… what could it possibly be…

“You know you can just give up,” He spoke and smiled at you, “Don’t be so serious about it,”

You shook your head and frowned and told him that you were determined to get it right so that you would be able to ask him to do anything on your request.

“Purple?” You finally gave up and hoped that your answer was right.

“Nope!” He grinned at you and said, “BURGUNDY! GET IT?! BURRR-GUNDY~!”

“Oppa…..”

You sighed and surrendered in defeat as the moment you heard his answer. I mean it was funny but seeing how he was enjoying this so much as kind of irritating you but at the same time you just love how he was being himself.

Seokjin knew that you liked dad jokes to a certain extent and every time when he sees you laugh or smile, it would make his heart skip a beat. That was one of the reasons as to why he likes to tell you dad jokes, he always wanted to see that you are smiling or laughing. It was also one of the reasons why you fell for him.

“Where are you going?” He asked you suddenly as you left his embrace and headed to your bed.

He followed you behind and he found you wrapping yourself in the blanket, lying on the left side of your body.

“Aigoooo,” He chuckled as he looked at how you always head to the bed scrunching up like a fetus whenever you don’t feel like talking to anyone. “삐졌냐?”*

You weren’t actually angry or anything but you just remained in silence, waiting to see how he would respond to you.

Just as you were having that thought, you felt a weight on your bed and the next moment you could sense that Seok Jin was behind you, sneaking his hand around your waist.

“Jagiya…” He whispered and as you felt his breath on your ears you swore you could feel your face getting red.

“Wae…” You tried to sound tougher than usual but your voice didn’t come out like what you expected.

He leaned his face onto your neck and took a deep breath and breathed out, inhaling your scent. His breath tickled you and you squirmed and you could feel him smiling at you.   

“You smell really nice,” He mumbled as he held you tighter, “I don’t want to let you go…”

You tried to pry his hand away from your waist as you wanted to punish him for not letting you give him kisses. It was a really childish thing but you felt like since you were unable to express your love for him, he should not be able to do the same too.

He realized what you were doing and whined and tried to turn you around to face him.

In the end, he won because you were unable to withstand tickles and you tried to not laugh while he ‘captured’ you using his arms again. This time, both of you were facing each other and with Seokjin looking at your eyes.

“Oppa. You better let me go now,” You tried to threaten him by opening your eyes bigger but he ended up doing the same.

“My eyes are bigger than yours,” He replied you while widening his eyes too and staring at you. “And I’m not letting you go,”

“No they’re not,” You replied and tried to make him blink by blowing on his eyes.

You giggled as he tried to keep his eyes wide opened and he looked like he was about to burst out laughing too. In the end he failed and gave you a peck on your lips.

“Oppa~” You smiled as you finally received the kiss you thought you were not able to get tonight. “I thought you said I weren’t getting any kisses because I didn’t answer your dad jokes correctly?”

He propped himself up with his left elbow and looked at you, “I’ve decided to take that back because you look even more adorable tonight,”

“Aii…. Oppa~ You’re always like this when you have a few drinks,” You commented as you felt that he was trying to flatter you and make it up to you.

He raised his brows up and gave a look of disbelief, “I’m not drunk,”

“Yes you are,” You said and playfully tapped a few times on his nose, “Look at how pink your cheeks are,”

“I can’t see my cheeks,” He smirked, “I can only see you,”

“Ah oppa!” You laughed as you could feel yourself cringing up your fingers at how cheesy his lines were getting. This was how he usually behaves when he drinks too much and you confirmed with yourself that he was getting a little out of control.

He pecked you on your forehead and smiled at you before kissing on the lips again.

“This is not enough right?” He asked you and began to attack you again on both side of cheeks and you couldn’t help but start laughing as he was being so playful.  

“Stop it!!” You laughed as he tried to kiss you more on every part of your face.

He stopped and pulled back from you, “Really? Did you just ask me to stop?”

You nodded and waited for him to respond.

“Alright, I’ll stop if you answer this question right,” He gave you another of his mischievous smile.

“Urghh.. another one?” You rolled your head and sighed before agreeing and went along with him.

“What is the thing that I want to say to you right now?” He raised his eyebrows and gave you that ‘You’re not going to get it right’ face.

You thought about it for a moment and tried to think of the word which might be related to what you guys had been doing. He told you last time when you had your last date that he always found you adorable and you thought maybe it could be the right answer. But then again you recalled on another occasion when you guys went to the han river for a night stroll he told you that whenever he gets fluffy and slightly high he would want to hug you even more. However, judging from his situation right now, there might be a chance that he had made a totally new dad joke.

You bit down on your lower lips and looked at him. Seokjin was just waiting for you to answer and tapping his right hand on his own hip.

“Hmmm….” You said, “I think you want to tell along the line that I look adorable and you really want to hug me,”

“Deng!!!” He cheered and pulled you closer than you guys were already.

“Urghh….” You said dreadfully as you received another attack on your left cheek. “What is it that you want to tell me then?”

Before he finally spoke, he looked at your eyes with a smile.

“Jayi, I really mean it even though I might seemed lightly drunk or not,” He said.

You nodded your head and wondered what it could be as he seemed to be a bit more serious than just now.

“I wanted to tell you,” He placed his hand on the left side of your cheek and pulled your slightly closer before whispering,

“Thank you for always being by my side despite me being not able to be with you like how you always did,” He confessed and brushed your hair behind your ear.

“And with that I shall reward you with a kiss on your cheek,”

You giggled and gave him a quick peck on his cheek too.

“Thank you for always believing in me and supporting me in my work,” And he kissed you on the nose.

“Why are you getting so emotional…” You suddenly felt him getting more and more cheesy despite enjoying it.

“Thank you for always being willing to try out my new dishes and be my guinea pig,” He sneakily kissed you by the ear and you smacked him lightly on his shoulders.

“I just want to say thank you for being my girl,” He looked into your eyes as spoke that sentence.

You felt like you were about to cry as yes, all along it was never easy being a girlfriend of an idol group member. You had to deal with the short dates and irregular phone calls when he’s at the other side of the world and many more. Looking at how Seokjin was appreciating you, you felt that all those hard times were worth it.

“And lastly…” he whispered.  

“사” (Sa)

A peck on your forehead.

“랑” (Rang)

He moved down and gave you a peck on your nose.

“해” (Hae)

And with that, he sealed it with a kiss on your lips.

* I'm not sure the actualy english word for this but its along the line or getting pissed off. I feel like pissed off might be a too strong term for it so I ended up writing it in korean because in the story you not that actually pissed off XD
