Baekhyun felt even worse than he did yesterday. Having been out late the previous night with his coworkers and getting caught in the rain, he had, in fact, caught a very bad cold. Waking up a minute ago, he had felt like he was slowly dying from the pain radiating from every part of his body – mostly, the pounding headache that was threatening to rip his skull into two. It didn’t really help that he could hear the repeated banging of pots and pans from the kitchen.

Sleep disrupted and head about to burst, Baekhyun weakly stomped his way to the kitchen, adamant on giving Chanyeol an earful. Chills crept up his spine because of the cold and yet he felt his body heating up with a fever, causing cold sweat to seep out of the pores in his skin; soaking through his shirt (Chanyeol’s shirt, but still). He had never felt this terrible in his life – and Chanyeol was not helping!

Sehun giggled from somewhere close by but even her melodic laughter could not relieve Baekhyun from his anger as he rounded the corner to the kitchen. “What the hell is going on in here?” he yelled, voice cracking and throat aching very badly. A round of coughs ravaged his throat soon after his outburst and in response, Chanyeol jumped and whipped around to face him; eyes wide and twinkling with concern.

“You’re supposed to be sleeping!” he said, sounding like he was scolding his husband – the nerve!

“How is anyone supposed to sleep with all this noise?” Baekhyun fired back, exasperatedly throwing his hands up into the air. A flash of guilt washed over Chanyeol’s pretty face but even then, Baekhyun remained as mad as he was, glaring long and hard at his stupid husband. He noticed Chanyeol was wearing an apron over his pajamas and had a ladle in his hand and that confused him.
