“Chanyeol!” For the millionth time, Baekhyun yelled out the deaf male’s name, groaning out in frustration as he was met with silence. Since his hands were still dripping wet by the sink from washing the dishes (which Chanyeol was supposed to do), Baekhyun couldn’t move much and had to keep straining his voice. He could clearly hear the giggles of both his daughter and his idiotic husband but neither of them seemed to even care – he could have been dying, bleeding to death on the kitchen floor and the two wouldn’t come.

Finishing up with the last of the plates, Baekhyun stomped his short self towards the two and an exasperated sigh left his mouth as he entered their child’s room. As usual, the place was a mess and all her clothes were lying about – save for a circle in the middle of the room where the two sat in front of the mirror, cross-legged and facing each other. Chanyeol was wearing a pair of old sweats and a plain white v-neck while their little angel sat opposite him, playing with her frilly pink tutu (which Chanyeol had forced Baekhyun to get yesterday at the mall) and blinking rapidly as her dad continued to talk.

“One day, you’re going to be the world’s best ballerina!” he was saying, “And that’s all because I’m your daddy! Just pray you grow a little taller than Mommy… but don’t tell him I said that!”
