It was 6:30 on a Thursday afternoon and Kibum was on his way home. He'd forgotten his headphones, so the ride was more boring than usual. He felt his phone buzz in his hand. It was a message from an unknown number.

“I have a question.”

                                       “So do I. Who is this?”

“Jonghyun”

                                        “…Who do you think this is?”

 “Kibum. Jinki forced me to put your number in my phone.”

                                        “Ill have to thank him. >:(“

“ㅍ_ㅍ”

“You’re gay, right?”

                                        “…what?”

“I feel like that was a pretty clear question.”

                                        “Okay."  

                                        "Yeah, I guess.”

“So have you ever had with a guy?”

                                        “You’re kidding, right?”

“Then, have you ever had with a girl?”

“What the heck, Jonghyun?”

“Well, how did you know you were gay, then?”

“I really don’t feel like I need to discuss my ual history with you.”

“You should just be grateful that I’m even texting you.”

              “As if you’re God’s gift to man?”

“Just His gift to you.”

              “Screw you!”

“You wish.”

The guttural rage scream that Kibum let out upon reading Jonghyun’s response was enough to elicit the bus driver requesting him to exit the bus, even before they had come to an actual stop.

Six hours later, Kibum received another message.

“What were you gonna do if I wasn’t a guy?”

He didn’t respond.
