Loup Blanc

Shin Hye entered Loup Blanc, a restuarant in Seoul. Min Young, her friend, recommended it to her since she said Shin Hye's favorite food was from European country. A young waitress welcomed her warmly and politely and asked her a stupid question that your eyes can probably see the answer. 

"Table for two ma'am?"

"Two? Seriously? Do you see another person behind me?" she asked sarcasticly and then chuckled.

"I'm so sorry ma'am. I'll get a table for you. Please follow me."

The waitress lead her to a table neaar the corner of the restuarant. She sat there as she thanked the waitress, laced with sarcasm. Of course she sensed it so she immediately leave before she can do something bad to her.

"What?! She asked you 'table for two'? You see, even the waitress know you're still single." Min Young laughed at her friend, she just can't stop herself. She looked at her playfully before she continued, "Now, you should really find a man not like 'him', okay?"

"Every man is like 'him' Min Young-ah. They make you fall for them then leave you alone for another girl then repeat. It's in their nature" she explained to Min Young. This has been her excuse to her since then so she would not force her again but Shin Hye can't stop Min Young. 

"Yah Park Shin Hye! I'm just concerned about you okay. It's been five years ago already so you need to find a boyfriend. What if I'm gone? Who would take care of you?" she shouted at Shin Hye softly but painfully. Shin Hye comforted her with hug and sighed softly. "I know what you are worrying about but I don't think it's the right time for me to find a partner. I'm just 27 years old and I planned to get married when I am 29 or 30" she laughed at Min Young whom is pouting cutely at her. 

"So it's the right time to find a boyfriend if you want to be married at the age of 29 or so. Because Shin Hye-ah, I arranged a date for you tommorow at 8 in the afternoon... Bianhe" she winked at her before she quickly made her way to her room.

"Mwo?! Yah Min Young-ah!!!"

Jung Sik Dang, Seoul, 8:15

A man in his mid-twenties was waiting patiently for someone, his blind date that has been arranged by his friend's girlfriend. She's 15 minutes late but he managed to wait for her calmly, trying to be a gentleman. He wanted her first impression to him to be good and being patient maybe good to put a good first impression to a girl.

"Ahhh... Where is she? Is she coming?"

"Good evening sir, perhaps you are Mr. Jung Yong Hwa?"

A lady in a beautiful dress asked him. "Then maybe you are Ms. Park Shin Hye? Deh, I am Jung Yong Hwa. Just call me Yong Hwa" he said to her as he let her sit on the chair opposite to him. "So you are Min Young's friend, my blind date for tonight. I didn't know your beautiful"

"Deh?" she asked and smiled awkwardly to him.

"I already fell in love with you! Are you okay now, huh?! After that, you'll leave to right?!"

"Mwo? You already fell for me... I-I'm sorry but Shin-"

"Don't speak another word! You are just like them! All of you are the same!"

"But Shin Hye, let me explain first okay! Yes, I'll leave but, it doesn't matter. I'll come back after two years."

"No! I don't want a 'long distance relationship' Yong Hwa. If you will leave... just leave. After that, let's go in our seperate ways and let's not meet each other again. I'm glad that I met you... Goodbye."

"Min Ho oppa, I felt sorry Shin Hye. Yong Hwa left now with a broken-heart leaving Shin Hye with a broken-heart too. She's been crying like this since Yong Hwa left yesterday morning. He's going to America to continue his study for his father and he'll only come back next two years."

"Min Young-ah, I'm just curious... Why do they have to torture theirselves when they can be together even if Yong Hwa is very far away"

"It's because Shin Hye doesn't want a 'long distance relationship'. She'd learn from her mistake"

Incheon International Airport 

Yong Hwa's plane landed safely at the airport and he's been welcomed by his mother and sister. They went straight to the nearest restaurant in the airport so Yong Hwa can rest after his long trip. Yong Hwa looked more professional than before and he looked more confident and charming. In short, he changed so much not only physically but by the way he act, think and talk, you'll not find the old Yong Hwa anymore.

"So how was the building that appa planned to build last month? Any news?"

"Yong Hwa, don't talk about business here. Ah, by the way, yesterday I saw Shin Hye at our company. I think she's looking for someone. I don't know.

Yong Hwa just kept silent and continue eating without bothering to look at his mother. His mother sensed something wrong so she just shut .

"Shin Hye!"

Geun Suk called her so loud that his office mates heard and stared at him. 

"Oppa! I was looking for you yesterday! Don't tell me you are meeting someone now"

"Aniya. My boss called me to guide his son tomorrow because he is new to the company and just came back from America to study"

Weeks After 

Yong Hwa and Geun Suk became close friends since Geun Suk is his assistant and he is approachable unlike others.

"Geun Suk, tell me, you already have a girlfriend right now? I saw you with a girl everyday at lunch. What's her name, huh?"

"Sir, she's not my girlfriend. She was just a close friend of mine"

"Park Shin Hye, I just want to say to you that... I like you, no I mean, I love you since the first day I met you. Would you like to be my girlfriend?"

"Mwo? Geun Suk. it's a sudden confession... g-give me some time first."

"It's so many months since I started pursuing you. Shin Hye, I think I've given you enough time to think about the answer to my question."

"Geun Suk, I accept your heart now. I'll be your girlfriend."

"What? Yong Hwa, you want to invite my girlfriend to our celebration tonight?"

"Deh, do you agree? I really want to see her. You said she's beautiful and talented right, I'm interested to know her.

"Okay Yong Hwa. I'll ask her if she wants to go."

"Thank you"

"Geun Suk, I'm glad you're here but where's your girlfriend?"

"She told me to go first"

"I should be asking that question. What are 'you' doing here?"

"We're celebrating our achievement in the company."

If he's here to celebrate then perhaps, he's one of Geun Suk's office mates. 'the heck! Why in the world he's one of Geun Suk's office mates. Are we destined to meet?'
