After class, I was about to go out of our room when my classmate called me

“Where are you going? Have you forgotten that you are part of the cleaning duty today?”

“Eh?! But I still have some practice to attend too”

“Sorry but cleaning before anything else, or you want me to tell it to our teacher”

“Araso, I will just see Hyo Jung to tell her that I couldn’t attend our practice & I will be back to clean” I said & I went straight to next classroom

I take a peek in the doorway to see if Hyo Jung haven’t left the room. When I finally saw her, I walk inside the room & approach her

Her friends saw me & Hyo Jung turn around to see me

“SinB, what are you doing here?”

“I came here to tell you I couldn’t join you guys in the practice later”

“Really? Why?”

“Cleaning duty”

“Can’t you just skip it?”

“Sorry, but my classmate wouldn’t let me” I said “Just tell to Min Joo that I will definitely attend our practice tomorrow”

“Araso, I will tell it to her” she said “By the way you haven’t meet my Best friends, right?

I nod as an answer

“By the way this is Kim Mingyu, & this girl beside me is my lovely Yoo Shi Ah. Guys, this is Hwang Eun Bi but we all called her SinB”

The girl who is sitting beside Hyo Jung just slightly bow at me. I can see that she is really shy since she just shyly bow to me as a greet

While the tall guy which I assume should be Mingyu since I know that Shi Ah is a girl, walks closer to me & smiled

“So you are the Eun Bi, nice to meet you” he said & held his hand for a handshake

I take his hand & shook it Hmm… why do I have this feeling that he knows me?

After that I went back to my classroom & help my classmates in cleaning our classroom

After cleaning our room, I bid farewell to my classmates & left. I was walking in the corridor when I saw a familiar figure standing at the corridor

When he saw me he smiled warmly to me… I felt my chest hurt a little, but I didn’t mind it

“What are you doing here?” I ask when Jeonghan approach me

“I was waiting for you so we can go home together” he said

“What?” I ask

“What?” he innocently ask back

“Never mind” I said & walk ahead of him

He easily catch up with me & blocks my way

“Did I do something to you?” he ask

“No, nothing” I answer

“Then why does it looks like there is something bothering you?”

“Well…” I started to talk but immediately stop, I am hesitating if I will ask him about that

“Come on, we are friends don’t we” he said

“Well… I am just wondering why would you want me to become your friend, in the first place you never knew me. We just bump each other twice, but it doesn’t mean that we can be friends for that reason”

“It also doesn’t mean that we can’t be friends” he said “Can’t you see it? We bump each other twice, don’t you think that we have some kind of connection to each other” & smiled at me

“If you still can’t see it, maybe I will help you to see it” he said & walk close to me until he is an inch away from me

Puzzled about what he is saying, I ended up staring at him. While staring in his eyes I can feel my chest starting to hurt

When he notice that I am just staring at him, he smiled & hold my hand

“Let’s go home” he said & pulled me to walk

At home…

After eating my dinner, I went straight to my bed & lay down

I kept on thinking about what we girls had talk earlier & Jeonghan answer to me when I ask him earlier

“Connection?” I suddenly said when I remember Jeonghan had said

“Tsk! What connection he is talking about? He is so weird… No! He is an idiot”

The next Saturday…

I decided to go out since we will be practicing again in Mina’s brother dance studio…

I am near the bus stop when someone called me. I turn around saw Jeonghan smiling at me

“I knew that you are going out today” he said as he walks towards me “So where are you going?”

“I am going to our dance practice” I simply answer

“Can I come? Please…” he beg and while doing some aegyo

“You can’t! & beside I don’t have the rights to bring someone. If you want you can ask Min Joo, since she is my leader”

“Do you have her number?”

“Ne, why?”

“Just give it to me”

“Ok” I said & handed him my phone

He took his phone & dialed some numbers. After talking to someone he look at me & smiled brightly to me

“Jeonghan!” Mina & Momo excitedly said

The two quickly went towards us when me & Jeonghan are going inside the dance studio

I went straight to Min Joo while Jeonghan is talking to the two

“Min Joo, why did you let him go with me. You know that I don’t like anybody tagging with us when we are practicing” I complained

“It’s not my idea… It was the two idea” she answer

“I knew it!” I said & glare over to the two… “Ugh! Why the hell did they want him to come?” I said with a irritate tone in my voice

“Why? You don’t like it?”

“Of course! He will just disturb our practice” I said “Can you ask him to go now?” I beg Min Joo but she just shook her head

“Why would I ask him to go when he promise that he wouldn’t disturb us”

“But his presence is disturbing me” I pout

“Come on SinB, can’t you just be nice to the guy? He is your friend after all”

I got surprise to what Min Joo said & ask her “How did you know about that?”

“He told me on the phone”

“He told you?!” I said & hit my forehead with my palm

“You don’t need to hide it from me because I already knew it”

“You do?” I confusedly ask

“Ne! Hyo Jung hinted it” she said “And if you really want him to go, I don’t think that you can do that especially Mina & Momo are now falling for him” she added & point at the 3 who are now happy chatting

After 6 hours for practicing we decided to end it, because Mina’s brother need to use his dance studio & the others still need to do something

“I’m so hungry” I grumble

“Of course you are. Did you forget that you still haven’t eaten your lunch?”

“Now that you mention it, I am now starting to feel hungrier”

“I know! Let’s grab something to eat”

“Something to eat? Where?”

“I know a good place” he said & started to walk ahead

I follow him & he led me to a small restaurant. The restaurant is located at the back of the alley. If you ask me it’s not common for people to go here since it is hidden back & it is just a small. People who are eating here might come here in plan.

As we went inside the restaurant the ahjjumma who I think is the owner happily greeted us

“Jeonghan, it’s been a while since you last visited us” she happily said & hug Jeonghan

“Just being busy with my study these lately” Jeonghan said

“Well I totally understand that, study first before anything else” the ahjjumma smiling said

Then she notice me & look at Jeonghan “You have a company today?” she said while flashing a suspicious look on him

“Ah ne, this is Hwang Eun Bi she is my friend” he said

I lightly bow to the ahjjumma who just look at me with a smile on her face

“Nice to meet you Eun Bi, I am Jeonghan’s mom friend & I know Jeonghan very well” she said & took my hand “And I can see that there is something in you”

“Huh?” I confusedly ask

I was about to ask what the ahjjumma is talking about when Jeonghan suddenly but in

“Ahjjumma, I think Eun Bi is hungry & I am too, can you make us your most delicious food here?” Jeonghan sweetly said

“Sure sure, don’t worry about it. I will serve the most delicious food here in my restaurant” the ahjjumma said & left us to go to the kitchen

Jeonghan & I went to a vacant table at the back of the restaurant.

“I didn’t know that you know that you are close to an ahjjumma?” I ask when we take a seat

“Ne” he shyly answer “Actually the ahjjumma here & my mom are friends since they are in high School. When I was young my mom always took me here to eat, that’s why I am use in this place”

I nod as answer & said “Well it’s pretty obvious. She really look happy when she saw you”

“She is like a second mother to me actually” Jeonghan said & chuckled

After 15 minutes the food that we order came. I never eat such delicious foods in my entire life, it’s much delicious than my mom’s food (Sorry Mom… (^^)V) That’s why we just finished the food for a couple of minutes

After eating, paying the bill & bid farewell to the ahjjumma, me & Jeonghan decided to go home

“Wow! I ate a lot today” I happily said “Thank you for the delicious lunch” I added then face Jeonghan

“Glad you like it” he smiling said

“Now that we just ate our food, how about some dessert?”

“Dessert? Your treat?”

“Ne!” I brightly said

After a while… At a grocery store

“Now I know why you suddenly treat me” Jeonghan said “It’s because you know the owner of the grocery store, & you know how to get a great discount”

“What’s wrong with that? It’s just the same with you” I said & finish my ice cream

“Nothing” he said & chuckled

“Just be happy that I treat you” I childishly said

He was about to answer me when my phone ring. I look at my phone & saw a message from my mom

“Who is it?” Jeonghan ask when I put my phone back in my bag

“It’s my mom, she said that she needs to do something from work that’s why she will coming home late” I said “Looks like I will be alone again tonight” I unconsciously added

“Alone? Why? Don’t you have any sibling?” he ask

“No, I don’t have any sibling, I am an only child”

“What about your father?”

“He is already gone” I casually answer

“Gone? What do you mean by gone?” he ask

“Gone as in he isn’t here anymore” I answer & stood up to throw my ice cream stick

Jeonghan just look at me

“Let’s go. I still need to do something” I said & walk ahead

Before walking Jeonghan just look at SinB & thought of something

At Home…

After taking a bath, I went straight to my room & sat down on my study table. I faces my notebooks & books to study

I was about to open my notebook when suddenly my phone ring. I look at the screen & saw unregister number

I decided to answer the call & heard a familiar voice

Hello?

Hello? Shi Ah?

Jeonghan? Is that you?

Ne! I’m glad you answer it. I thought you wouldn’t answer it since it is unregistered number

By the way why did you call & how did you know about my cell phone number?

Well, I just wanted to make sure that you get home safely, & also I wanted to thanked you

Thanked me?

Ne! Thank you for letting me hang-out with you today

If you’re talking about bringing you in our dance practice, you don’t need to thank me. & beside Min Joo is the one who let you go with me

So is there anything else you wanted to tell me?

Ne! Thank you for everything today. I really had a great time

“Geesh! He really called just to check on me” I happily said “& why the hell did he thanked me for. If it’s not for Min Joo I wouldn’t bought him”

All throughout the night & before I was going to sleep I ended up smiling the whole night for unknown reason
