“I honestly thought this feeling was hate, that I hated how you looked down on me” Sehun said, looking at the red rose he had just stolen from Yoona’s table ornament. Even thought talking to her was easy, skinship was the hardest thing he had ever done. Sehun knew if he or she initiated some kind of physical contact with the other, he wouldn’t be able to stop, so he avoided any kind of touch, except for holding her right hand; whenever he grab it he found Yoona’s hand cold so he used that as an excuse to cross fingers with her. He realized their hands were similar: long and skinny. He even noticed Yoona had a round molar on her middle fingertip, so when he was shy or nervous around her, he would look at that molar and hold her hand again. For Yoona, the warm hand Sehun always gave him created a wave that surrounded her whole body, like electricity, and with time, the sensation she had every time Sehun held her hand became a necessity. She was waiting for more, but soon, Yoona understood it wasn’t only shyness what Sehun felt being around her, but also an inexplicable force he just hadn’t learn to control, and she enjoyed being desired. Maybe out of habit, but when Yoona went closer, like really close, just a few inches far from his face, Sehun immediately lowered his gaze down to her hands and reached first her right hand to start playing with her finger. Yoona smiled like a victorious queen. She always knew she provoked something among men, and because never really understood what that was, she never fully enjoyed that “something”, not until Sehun appeared in her life. Yoona also knew she shouldn’t, but the trembling in Sehun’s eyes and voice when she was around made her feel special, more than that, made her feel loved. That love only grew when Sehun confessed he thought he didn’t like her at the beginning. “Sorry, you caught me during a difficult time and well, its been a while since I socialize with people other than the staff, so I can really come off as greedy sometimes” Yoona said a bit sad. Sehun doubted for a second, but the expression on Yoona’s face was so sad he swore himself he would do anything on his power to make her happy, so he brought his lips closer to hers as he bended over to kiss her, but Yoona avoided his lips. “There’s one month left and it’s ten o’clock. You need to go back to your room” Yoona rapidly said, getting up. Sehun took the rose and got up too. He looked at Yoona and exhaled deeply. “It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important” He said, placing the red rose on Yoona’s ear. Yoona smiled and kissed his cheek, then Sehun went out the room. By then, Yoona and Sehun had been going out for a month. The same time they had been in the tour for SM Dream Concerts. When Sehun asked Yoona out, Yoona laughed, telling him it would be impossible for them to go out like normal people, especially because Sehun’s career and popularity kept growing and sympathy for him arose after the airport incident. Sehun denied with his head and told her “We don’t need to be out to go out, we just need to be with each other, and with only that I promise you I’ll make you the happiest person in the world”. Yoona’s heart melted at his words. Sehun didn’t know it, but he was the most romantic man she had ever known. He had proven that night, when Sehun asked Yoona what her favorite book was, Yoona looked at him unsure, but when Sehun lowered his face to concentrate at her hand and start playing with it Yoonna inhale deeply. “My favorite book is “The little prince” was Yoona’s answer. That was why when they said goodbye Sehun did it with a phrase of Yoona’s favorite book “The little prince”. “It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important”. At the end of his words Yoona felt her heart race so fast she felt afraid, afraid maybe someday Sehun would stop liking her. She was lost on those painful thoughts when Sehun turned around and ran to her door again. “Wait, I forgot to ask you, what would you like for your birthday?” Sehun asked, almost out of breath. “A surprise” was Yoona’s simple answer. She, on the other hand didn’t ask Sehun what he wanted for his birthday. Not even Sehun was interested in his own birthday; his ultimate goal had become to surprise Yoona, so when their birthdays came they met in a room in another hotel where no one could find them. Yoona opened the door of a room Sehun had booked. When she entered the view of the room took her by surprise. As she walked inside Yoona saw the room filled with gifts. Sehun appeared from nowhere and smiled pleased. “Twenty nine gifts exactly, twenty nine presents based on the things you have told me you wanted to have or to do” He said excited. Then, he took her hand to lead her where gift number one was. “You told me once you wanted to be a star forever, so I put your name to a real star, this way you’ll be always be shinning in the sky” Sehun explained showing Yoona a document that contained the signature o the state for a star to be named under Yoona’s name. “You need to listen to gift number two. Remember a week ago when I told you my name was taken out from a song and you told me you whished your name was taken out from a song? Well, I did research and here is a compilation of fifteen songs that contain your name. I’m so proud of myself I could find these in a very short amount of time” Sehun said smiling. Yoona took the CD out of Sehun’s hand and pecked his lips with a smile. “Ok, if you liked two, wait to see three” Sehun said taking out a fluffy dog. “Once you told me you wanted a Husky, so here it is, and by the way you can decide whether is a he or a she” Yoona smiled wider until they arrived to present number twenty-nine. “You never told me you wanted this” Sehun confessed “but somehow I realized you don’t have it, and you might need it” When Yoona unwrapped the gift she found a luxury edition of the little prince. She looked up and saw Sehun looking at her with lovely eyes. She gave him another peck and then hugged him really hard. “Sehun, I love it. Everything, I really do. I’m now sorry my gift wont be as spectacular as yours”, Yoona said taking out a necklace Sehun had given her two weeks before. It happened right after a concert they had in Hong Kong. Since Yoona had a schedule they couldn’t meet as always in the hotel. She was heading to Korea for two days right after the concert, so when everyone left Sehun appeared at Yoona’s dressing room. She was taking off her makeup. “I don’t want you to leave” He said, resting his head on the door’s frame. “Don’t give me that look. It will be just two days” Yoona said looking at him through the mirror. “Still, the thought of you being alone…it kills me” Yoona rolled her eyes, got up, walked to the door and messed his hair. Then, after making sure no one was around, she held Sehun’s face in between her hands, she look at him closely. “Well, if I feel alone, I will just remember this, your face” She continued, caressing his cheek. Sehun noticed her cold hands. “People with cold hands and warm hearts” He said bewitched by Yoona’s beauty, then he shook his head remembering why he had gone to see her in first place. “Listen, this is just in case you need extra help in this two days” Sehun said, taking out a necklace out of his pocket. “I want you to have this. It’s been with me since my mother passed away. You wont be able to wear it since I broke it and I haven’t had time to repair it, but you can just have it near you and well, it will make you feel reassured. At first Yoona hesitated in taking it. She knew how special the memory of Sehun’s mother was for him, but eventually she accepted it. When she came to Korea she went directly to her favorite jewelry store and asked for the necklace to be clean and repaired. She added a small “Y” to the necklace. Coincidently the mane of Sehun’s mother started with a “Y” also. Yoona never separated from the necklace, until that night, when she gave it to Sehun. “Now both of us, your mother and I will always be with you” Sehun looked at the necklace and then at Yoona. “Thanks” was the only thing he could say. He looked at Yoona and wrapped her around his arms as he kissed her forehead”. Yoona laughed loudly, pushing him playfully. “Actually, there’s a part two or my gift” Yoona said, now pulling Sehun towars her. She started to kiss him so hard, like she had never done before, but Sehun was somehow expecting it. He had dreamt of that night for a couple of days now and he thought he could be whatever Yoona demanded, but now that t was happening, all he could do was playing along, enjoying every single moment instead of trying to be perfect.

When Yoona felt Sehun’s boiling blood her cold hands started to burn too. She reached his chest and found the body a young trained man, she reached his wide back and fell in love on how she could feel every single muscle of it. For Sehun Yoona’s belly would become his favorite thing about Yoona after the molar on her hand. When he could finally see her withouth her top he fell mesmerized at how toned and curvy she wasm but aside for that, her abs killed him, so he carefully kissed them as if he was afraid Yoona would break. They kept discovering each other in between the twenty nine gifts and the necklace the whole night. They only stopped at four in the morning, when Yoona fell asleep tired. Sehun let Yoona’s head rest over his arm abd though he tried, he simply couldn’t sleep, so he played with her molar once again. He kept smiling because he couldn’t stop. He kissed her forehead multiple times, as well as her ears and nose. It was after that nose kiss when he realized Yoona’s grinning face while sleeping. “Don’t worry, you’ll only be happy from now on” Sehun whispered her, fixing her hair. Yoona smiled a bit, still completely unconscious. It was with that smile that Sehun decided Yoona would be the only woman in his life.

“It was not hard at all. At the end of the day it all came down to this question: What was I willing to do for you? And I realized I was willing to do anything, and that’s how I understood I love you” Sehun answered the next morning, while they were having breakfast in between all the gifts he had given Yoona.

“Even though you are nineteen now, you are still such a kid”

“I mean, all grown ups were once a child but only a few of them remember it” Sehun said, smiling at Yoona. She sighed beaten.

“Ok, you win” She said resigned. Sehun smiled biting his toast.

After that they they were pretty much like any other couple, if any other couple could be as attractive and shinning as they were when they were together. Sehun found in himself a new abitly. He found he could talk for hours and listen for even more time. When they were not together they glued each other to their phones to text or catch each other’s calls. When they were together in SM building they always tried to sit next to each other or “coincidentally” run into each other. And when they were alone, they just couldn’t keep their hand off each other. Sehun couldn’t find a weak point in their relationship. The was amazing and their talks were incredible. Yoona became her best friend and the need to call her just because grew with the days. For Yoona Sehun became a necessity. The first thing she did in the morning was wondering about him, the last thing she did at night was he. Yoona first tought their necessity for each other’s body would only last he first months, but it wasn’t the case. Every time they tried something new, and with that, the shame towards each other disappeared. Sehun still doubted before kissing her, but only because he knew he wouldn’t be able to stop. It was almost a dreamy relationship, they rarely got into fights, and when they did, they fixed it right away, applying their favorite rule: the 24. If Yoona did something Sehun disapproved he would be able to express it in the next 24 hours if he didn’t, they would never be able to mention it again. That rule forced them to always communicate with each other about their likes and dislikes. Most of the fights came from jealousy, and most ended in sweet hugs and kisses to they were meant for each other. Sometimes Sehun was too expressive, and his excitement caused Yoona more than one injury. There was a day when they were kissing each other at Sehun’s apartment. He had bought a ton of stuff because lately all his time was spent there. While kissing he gently pushed Yoona against the wall but she tripped and fell over he knee an open wounded was formed. Sehun panicked and took her immediately to the doctor. “It’s just a wound, but I need to clean it. It might hurt so feel free to yell if you need it Yoona” The doctor said taking out alcohol. Sehun immediately offered his hand. “Don’t worry. I have a high tolerance to pain, you don’t need to AAAAA” Yoona yelled, hitting Sehun’s arm really hard that he needed to receive treatment after her. Both left the hospital two hours later, went for ice cream as consolation and watched a movie that night. None of them openly expressed it, but they like being together made things one hundred times more special, like that day on the doctor. That’s why, the day they had their first real fight Yoona knew the woman they had just fought about would only bring problems to their relationship, and ultimately tearing them apart.
