The napping hybrid had woken up a few hours later and silently watched me write my report. Feeling slightly uncomfortable being watched by the smaller, I stopped writing the report and turned to the hybrid.

“ Hey owner, whatcha doin’?”

“ I’m writing a report right now; by the way, how old are you?”

“ In human years, 21. How about you owner?”

Wow… I thought that he was younger because of his short height but he was actually 21…

He really looked young for his age.

The hybrid fell silent as I explained my logic to me. I laughed at his childish reaction and pet his hair gently.

Right as I pet him, the hybrid’s expression turned sour and flicked my hand with his tail. I grabbed his tail with annoyance.

This wasn't how it’s supposed to be. If I was going to be raising a hybrid, I needed to start by training it. Even if that meant punishing it.
