Jeongyeon’s POV

I left sana’s house , the weather was so cold and there is snow all over the streets , I sat in the back seat

He drove off to Seodaemun Prison.. I will meet Kim Youngbin ..

I searched in the old newspapers about a crime that was similar to what I remember ..

Fire, mansion and 25 years ago and a young girl …

So I found that they caught him 24 years ago .. they let me met him after many meeting with the general ..

The soldier looked at us before entering the prison

“Yoo jeongyeon” I said .. he bowed his head “follow me sir” he said and I followed him to a room with a table in the middle and 2 chairs

“sir I will go with you”

“No no I am okay.. wait here” I said to kim and entered the room

I sat on the chair and took a deep breath .. worried of what I will hear… what if he told me something bad related to me or my parents ..

He came in tied up with handcuffs.. and wearing the prison’s blue suit .. he looked criminal .. evil eyes .. a scar on his left cheek… beard and long messy hair

He sat in front of me not breaking the look at me

“I know that you don’t know me but I have few questions about what happened that day , who you killed and where and why”

“Nothing is for free ….sir”

I looked at the cap that was listening to our whole conversation

“I will give you money .. a lot of it and if you have family I will-“

“1 million dollar ,, you will give it to my wife” he interrupted me and he is so cold

“deal … who you killed?”

“a woman and her husband and I was about to kill their daughter but I couldn’t”

“who hired you ?”

“a man that hates them , there was a birthday party for their daughter that day .. I killed them after everyone left”

I touched my head and start breathing fast .. no one will come out .. stay in ! stay in

“the girl *sigh* why you didn’t kill her ? “

“actually I wanted to her .. she was 8 years a go .. disgusting right? Hah” … he deserves to die seriously !

“I didn’t kill her cause there was a kid screaming by the door and she was calling his name *he closed his eyes* what was his name ? … ah Jeongyeon !”

My lips parted and I came closer to him “continue!”

“suddenly I could smell smoke , I looked behind me and wanted to open the room’s door but it was so hot … the young girl fainted because of the smell she was so young after all .. I looked at her lying on door and jumped from the window.. but what happened and who settled the house on  fire .. I have no idea .. and what happened to that kid?”

I was looking away trying to remember but nothing came to my mind .. I looked at him frowning and I think I looked scary cause he got uneasy and nervous

“It’s me .. yoo.jeong.yeon .. *he yelped and looked scared* and the girl … what was her name?”

He cracked his neck “I don’t really reme-“

I got up and held his shirt from the collar and looked into his eyes “WHAT WAS HER NAAAAAME?” I yelled

He yelped “jana … choi jana!”

I left him on the floor and I was sweating .. I am sure one of them will come out .. so I went to the door and kim was there

“SIR!”

“KIM LET’S LEAVE THIS PLACE!” I said shaking

He nodded and we went to the car

He was looking at me through the side mirrors .. I was resting my head on the headrest ..

“sir?”

“hm?”

“is that you?”

I opened my eyes and looked at him “nae .. jeongyeon “

I took my phone and called momo’s dad … he said he is coming to the house after few minutes and told me to wait him in his office

I went to his mansion and went to the office … I sat on the chair and I was looking around

I have to ask him more about momo and her childhood ..

I saw a picture frame on his desk .. I took it and looked at the photo .. I smiled automatically .. its was a childhood photo of momo when she was 8 years old .. ..

While putting it back on it fell from the frame and took the photo

I looked at it back

I stood up and read it again ..”No way ! jana is …. Momo?”

“ah ah!!” I yelled as I fell on the floor
