"Welcome back you two!" Jiyoon shouted at Tyler and Minjung who were walking up the steps. "Quickly unpack! Aiden whipped up a feast" Jackson added placing his hand around his girlfriend's shoulder. Tyler and Minjung nodded tiredly dragging their feet at the same time. Taehyung had just gotten home as well, he quickly unpacked and took a shower before going out to meet up with the others for lunch. After which going back to the office for a short debrief.

Taehyung POV

"You guys did a great job in our overseas branch, nabbing all of the criminals on the files given to you. I am very proud of all you boys, as a reward I will be giving you year-end bonuses. You have the rest of the day off but make sure to report to work on time the day after tomorrow, you're dismissed." Our boss, Mr Kyeong, said. "Yes boss" we chorused and exited his office. "It feels good to have a bonus" Suga hyung said as he stretched his limbs. "So, who's up for dinner?" Jin hyung asked looking at us while patting his stomach. "Grilled meat?" Jungkook, our maknae, suggested excitedly. "Usual place, let's go. See you all in a while!" I shouted while unlocked my car, a white Volkswagen. I hummed to a happy tune while driving to the BBQ restaurant, punching in a few numbers into my phone I listened to the ringing tone in my Bluetooth ear piece.

"Hello?"

"Hey, you free tomorrow?" I said turning a corner.

"Not sure, why?"

"I thought we should meet up, like a day out?"

"I should be free. What time do you want to meet?"

"Is 12 okay with you?"

"Sure, having your off day tomorrow? Aren't you going to spend it with your friends?"

"Yes, and is there a problem if I want to spend it with you? What’s with you and always pushing me to my friends?"

"No, none at all. I was actually afraid that you have forgotten about me."

"Impossible, we kept in contact and well I like you so don't even think of running away from me!" I chided lightly over the phone. I didn't know where that courage came from, but somehow, I am not regretting what I had said. "Yea right! I’ll see you tomorrow Taehyung I have to go do some things" "Okay I'll pick you up?"

"It’s okay I can just meet you wherever we are going"
"Please? I want to officially ask you out on a date... as friends" I quickly added since I didn't know about her feelings for me. I heard her sigh over the phone before answering "Okay but it'll be at the bus stop okay?"

"Deal, see you at 12! Text me the address" I replied and cut the call. I couldn't stop smiling to myself after that phone call even when I met up with the guys I still had a goofy grin on my face. "What's making our Taetae so happy today?" Hobie hyung said smirking putting a piece of meat into . "Yea, even during the trip you kept smiling whenever your phone rings and sometimes you even disappear to your room for at least an hour. What are you hiding from us?" Jimin eyed me suspiciously while putting an arm over my shoulder. "Nothing, I'm just happy. Why? Do you guys not want to see me happy?" I ask nonchalantly and continued eating those heavenly pieces of grilled meat. "No but we want to know the reason behind it." Suga hyung said this time. "Aish you guys are just weird."
"You're to say"

"I’ll leave it to your little minds to imagine but I got to go home now. See you all soon" I bid goodbye after grabbing the last piece of meat. I needed to get home fast, I have to clean the house, shower, prepare for tomorrow and still get at least 8 hours of sleep if not I doubt I'll be able to wake tomorrow. When I reached home, I immediately got to work and, thankfully, slept before the clock strike 12.

-The next morning-

I picked up Minjung from the address she had texted me earlier last night, we were now on our way to have brunch.

“So how have you been?”

“Okay I guess? How about you?”

“I’m just happy to be able to hang out with you again.”

"Where are we going for lunch?" She asked looking out the window. Does she know how breath taking she looks? Her lightly tinted cheeks, high nose, long eyelashes, soft lips. After getting lost in her beauty for quite a while I finally snapped out of my trace and answered her question. "Our favourite place. Do you have anywhere you want to go after lunch?"

"This is your date, you plan." She said and slightly laughed a little. "Okay, then how about we go to the park and feed the pigeons?" I was prepared for a "Ewww" or "No way, what's wrong with you" kind of answer but it never came, instead she smiled brightly at me while nodding her head. "Sounds fun, what should we feed them? Shrimp crackers? Bread?"

"Anything you want" I replied looking at her dreamily. We arrived at 'Little Town' and had our lunch there, I had a rib eye steak with barbeque sauce while Minjung had pork ribs. Apparently, it was her favourite western dish, and she ate it without making a mess of the area, not like me anyways, because you know how eating pork ribs sometimes can get a little messy especially when you have to take the meat off the bone.

After we have had our fill, we went to a nearby park with a bag of shrimp crackers. "Oh, look there they are!" She exclaimed as she slightly ran over to where the flock of pigeons were, I caught up with her easily "slow down, you're more excited than I am". We sat down on a bench and she started to feed the pigeons, little by little I started to unknowingly lean towards her as we both tried to feed as many pigeons as we can. "So, how old are you?" I asked Minjung i mean come on I have known this girl for about a month now and yet i don't know her name. How did I not ask her about her age before?
​"Me? Why don't you take a guess?" I tried so hard at trying to guess her age, from 'communicating' with her mentally to literally attempting to steal her wallet. "Okay how about this, you tell me your age and you listen to how i address you?" She finally suggested after 5 minutes or so.
​"Sounds fun, let's do it! Now let's see, I am 25"
"Hmms, oppa looks handsome today" She casually mentioned as her eyes went back to looking at the pigeons. "Ahh, so i am your oppa" From the corner of my eye I could see her playing with the hem of her shirt *So this is her habbit when she is nervous. Cute* I so hard to contain my smile. 

"Kim Taehyung!" *That voice.. Jiminie?!* I turned around and saw Jimin, Jungkook and Suga hyung walking towards Minjung and I.

*Aish what are they doing here?* I thought to myself as I stood up blocking their view of Minjung. "What are you guys doing here?" I ask nonchalantly. "Aren't you going to introduce us to your girl over there?" Suga asked teasing me in the process. "Taehyung, who are they?" I heard Minjung ask as she took her place beside me. "Yea Tae, why don't you introduce us to your girlfriend" Jimin asked raising his eyebrows. *Dang, they are so dead when I see them alone* "Wait, he's not my boyfriend" she quickly cut in waving her hands in front of her "Not yet, but it's just a matter of time" her cheeks flushed red and I chuckled. "Hyung stop being creepy and introduce us already." Our maknae Jungkook whined and rushed me. "Geez fine, Minjung these are my friends, Jungkook the youngest, Jimin he is the same age as me and Suga hyung is 27. Guys this is Minjung"

"Good now that we know each other, Tae move aside we have questions to ask her." Suga hyung said and literally pushed me aside as they surrounded Minjung like a pack of wolves. I heard them asking her what she liked about me, how we met and if she would like to join us on this upcoming Saturday's paintball game. "Paintball? Who's going?"

"Our friends and their girlfriends, but don't worry Tae will be there."
"Oh, I'll see about that and get back to you guys"
"Sure, just inform Tae if you are coming. We will be taking our leave now since lover boy there seems like he wants to kills us already." Jimin said as they all turned their head to look at me. Yes, I was pissed but did my face really show it? They said their goodbyes and left the premise. "Hey, you okay?" I heard her sweet angelic voice ask as she placed her hand on my arm. "Yea, I'm okay. Let's go somewhere else?"

"Where do you want to go?"
"How about taking a walk along Hongdae?"
"Why not, are we getting there by car?"
"Unless you want to walk there" I replied laughing while Minjung just mumbled something incoherent under her breath. We arrived in Hongdae and walked around with a cup of hot chocolate in each of our hands. Just as we turned a corner a figure bumped into Minjung causing her to almost fall. Luckily, I managed to pull her into my embrace before she could fall. Her head came in contact with my chest and her faced flushed red for the second time today. I looked back to see who had so recklessly bumped into her my eyes widen when I saw a Dragon tattoo on the person's right arm. *Taka?* I looked back to Minjung and led her to a nearby bench "Wait for me here, I'll be right back" Just as I was about to leave she held onto my hand "Where are you going?"

"Nowhere I just saw something back there that my hyung wanted me to get for him." I could see that she didn't believe me and I was mentally thanked her for not questioning any further. I ran off in the direction Taka was headed to *I got you this time* I thought to myself as I turned a corner. Taka is an underground boss that I've be wanting to catch for a while now, but with the overseas trip and the new gang thing going on I hadn't had much time to find him. I saw him enter a door in between 2 shops I followed him carefully, my hand reached to my back pocket and searched for my gun. *, I left it back at home* So I took a plank of wood that was lying on the ground instead.

Carefully making my way up I could hear shuffling at the top and a few items dropping occasionally. When I reached the top I saw that Taka was alone so I came out of my hiding spot and stood in the light. "Mr Taka, we finally meet huh?" I said scanning his body, that was when I realised he had a huge wound across his chest. "Help me please" he whizzed. I cautiously walked over to him making sure that it wasn't a trap. When I had confirmed he was alone I bent down to help him. He started to lose consciousness and I quickly fished out my phone to call headquarters for back up. "This is off duty Officer V Code 301295, I am at Hongdae, I need back up. Suspect Taka had been caught but he is losing a lot of blood please send a medical team down"

"Sending medical team to your coordinates" in the meantime, while waiting for back up I place pressure on Taka's wound with my shirt. Now I was left wearing my jacket, it was freezing by the way. *I should have worn 2 layers* This morning I was thinking if I should wear a vest or something over my tee shirt but I decided against it. That was such a wrong choice.

 Shortly after the medical team along with unit 1 came, I handed everything over to them telling them that I would go over to interrogate Taka later on and left after washing the blood off my hands with water provided by the medical team. I went to a nearby shop and bought a shirt before going back to the spot where I told Minjung to wait for me, she was nowhere to be found when I went back.

I checked the nearby stores to see if she had wondered off shopping, after walking around for about 15 minutes or so I decided to just give her a call. Her phone rang but nobody picked up, from the corner of my eye I saw a girl protecting a little boy from a group of men. Taking a closer look, I realised that girl was none other than Minjung!

Minjung POV

I was waiting for Taehyung to return back from buying something for his hyung, I didn't believe what he said because he seemed like he was in a rush and if it was true why couldn't he have just brought me along with him? And why did my heart beat so fast when he held me in his arms just now? So many thoughts were running through my head when my phone rang, it was Tyler who had called. "What's up?"

"Where are you?"
"I'm outside, why?"
"We broke into Taka's base and found out who betrayed us. His name is Junghun, he is 'J' younger brother. You will be taking him down tonight."
"Got it, I'll be home then. Where's Taka?"
"He got away but Aiden gave him quite a nasty cut. I doubt he'll last"
"Noted, see you later." I ended the call with Tyler and laid back against the bench and sighed closing my eyes in the process. *urgh, so many things to do* just then I started to hear cries of what seems like helplessness, my eyes shot open and looked around me to see what was happening.

I followed the crying sound and it led me to a little boy who was no older than 9? That’s what I’m guessing anyways. I walked up to him and asked him what was wrong and if he had lost his parents. He shook his head and tried to calm down before saying something "Please help my Noona, she is being ganged up by a group of guys" the little boy said between choked sobs. "Stop crying and tell me where is your Noona." He nodded and led me to an alley not far from where we were standing. I saw a girl being pushed against the wall by 2 men while the other one was holding onto her chin. "You ! You promised us that you'll pay your debts by the end of last week."

"I'm sorry, I'm trying to earn back the money as fast as I can already"
"Don't you think it's a little too late for sorry? You should have thought about the consequences before borrowing money from us to pay for your Brother's School fees. On the other hand, you do have a gorgeous body I'm sure you'll be able to pay off your debts in a flash if you work for me."
"No please no I don't want to work for you"
"Shut up! Who said you have any say in this? Boys take her back" My blood was boiling and you could see smoke coming out from my ears, well not really but you know what I mean. I hated guys who think that they can do whatever they want with girls. I told the little boy to wait behind the wall while I go get his sister back for him. I cracked my knuckles and got ready for a fight.

"Yah, hooligans! Let the girl go" They turned to me and snorted
"Get lost little girl before we take you too" One of them warned as they tried to side step me. I smirked and threw a punch to the guy, who I presume was the leader, and he fell right on his pathetic . "Are you crazy? Who are you to hit our boss like that?!" Shouted the goons. "Shut up and let the girl go before I do worst to you." I spat out. Their boss stood back up and wiped off the blood by his lips "You just messed with the wrong gang girly"
"Oh Yea? Show me what you got" I taunted.

He tried to kick me in the stomach but missed terribly, *my turn* I did a round house kick hitting his chin which produced a sickening sound of bones cracking. His jaw is done for I thought to myself as I gave him one last kick to the groin area. The goons were not trembling in fear after seeing what had happened to their boss, "Now let the girl go" I demanded. I thought after showing my skills they would just give up but they had to pull a stupid stunt and try to hit me in the face. Before I could counter their attacks, someone came out if nowhere and pushed the both of them to the wall before putting pressure on a spot on their shoulder which made them go unconscious. "Anybody who wants to lay a finger on her has to go through me"

Hey there! How's eveyone doing? Firstly i would like to apologise for the short and slow update>< I have been really busy with work and i have been traveling so i didn't have much time to update and im flying again in like 5 hours so please understand. But as soon as i get back i will update ASAP okay?^^ And like i always say if i have the time to write i will double update and maybe even triple update. After this trip i Won't be as busy as i've been the past few weeks, though i still have lessons and work. Secondly, what do you think of this chapter?? Which areas can i improve?
