Minjung POV

I was in the usual hideout where me and the gang would always hang out at.

Tonight we had a big job to do, just about 2 days ago we heard that there would be a new shipment of drugs which contained things like , ecstasy and cannabis. We were told to hijack that shipment, which was on its way to China; if you haven’t figured it out by now let me tell you. Yes, this is 100% illegal and if we get caught we will end up jail. So why do we do this you ask? Well, this is what I do for a living. The rest of my teammates piled in and we got ready to leave, there was about 7 of us. There was Tyler, Ethan, Aiden, Jackson, Yerin, Jiyoon and last but not least me. For this operation, Tyler, Ethan and I would be the ones climbing aboard the ship to take out the guards while Aiden and Jiyoon would be the ones carrying the goods to the speed boat that we would be taking later on, there they will pass everything to Yerin and Jackson.

It was 9pm now and we left the hideout in 2 vehicles, a black Audi which belongs to me and a Land Rover which belongs to Jackson. Tyler, Ethan and I took the black Audi while the rest took the Land Rover. We arrived at our destination approximately at about 10pm, when I got off the car I checked my holster to ensure that there was a gun there and another gun in my boots as back up. The 7 of us took out our masks and put them on. *It’s show time* I thought to myself smirking. The speed boat took us really close to the ship and we got down to work. I climbed up with Tyler and Ethan following closely behind, we landed safely on the deck. Keeping quiet the 3 of us went to different corners of the ship to take out the guards allowing Aiden and Jiyoon to move freely around to find the drugs and move them to our speed boat. Just as I took out the last guard Yerin’s voice echoed through the ear piece that we had all put on earlier on to be able to stay connected to each other in case something happened.

“I don’t want to interrupt anything you all are doing right now but the police are here.”

My eyes widen as I turned around to have a flashlight shining directly at my face ** I stood up and ran.

“Minjung! Where are you?!” Tyler whispered harshly through the ear piece.

“Take everybody and the goods back to base and don’t get caught I will take care of everything here and meet you guys back to the hideout.” I whispered back into the earpiece and my attention went back to escaping. I hid behind a corner and waited for the right time to jump of this ship. I heard a pair of footsteps approaching me and fast, when the figure passed me I jumped out and tackled the person to the ground at the same time knocking the gun out of this person’s hands. The force resisting me is really strong so I presume that I was going head on with a male officer, I punched him in the face twice but before I could land the 3rd punch the guy flipped me over such that he was now on top of me. He had my arms secure by the side of my face to add on he was really strong which made it really difficult for me to break free from his hold, but I couldn’t get caught just like that. I use whatever strength I could muster and pushed him off me and before I could get caught again I jumped off the ship and into the water. I made use of the darkness and quickly swam to shore.

Taehyung POV

We got on to the ship with the drugs safely but I can’t help but feel something is not right. It was too quiet; this place should be swarming with guards. I motioned for Jungkook and Jimin to head towards the left flank while Jin and J-hope hyung were to take the right flank. Suga and Rapmon hyung had the back of the ship covered which leaves me with the front of the ship. Carefully, I took slow and steady steps. Out of nowhere I was tackled down to the ground and because it was so dark I couldn’t see who was it that attacked me, but whoever did it had skills. A fist collided with my face and judging by the size of the person’s fist I deduced that it was a female. A second punch came hitting me in my jaw once more. Before she could land a 3rd punch on me I caught her hands in mid-air and flipped us over with me being on top, I pinned her hands by her face efficiently restricting her from moving around. I was about to take my hand cuffs out but I guess she took that and made into her advantage by pushing me off her. I was about to chase her when I saw that she had jumped off the ship, I would have follow but the voice that spoke through my earpiece stopped me from doing so.

“V Hyung we found the people in charge of this shipment of drugs and the guards that were knocked out. But…the drugs are gone.” Jungkook our maknae informed me.

*Did that girl do all this by herself? *I thought to myself as I stared at the spot that she was standing at just a few moments ago. I took a deep breath and left to find the rest of my team members.

Minjung POV

*That was a close call.* Urgh now I have to walk all the way back to the hideout, it was freezing cold and on top of that I had to watch out for the police. *Great, prepare yourself for a hell of a walk back into town* I dragged my feet that felt like it weighed a tonne and slowly made my way back into town using a secret route that I had discovered a little while back. No feeling can be tier than this, I am hungry, tired, cold, drenched from head to toe and my feet are killing me. It took me an hour but I made it back to the hideout, I walked up to the familiar doors and opened them to see that all my teammates were sitting on the sofa anxiously waiting for my return.

“Hey guys” I weakly called out and was engulfed in a bone crushing hug by Yerin and Jiyoon.

“What took you so long to get back!”

“I had to walk back remember? Now can I please go and take a bath? I smell like salt water and the sticky feeling on my skin isn’t making it any better. To add on I just walked back in the cold.”

“Right! We placed your spare clothes in the bathroom already.”

“Aww, thank you guys. Have you all pass the drugs to them?”

“Yes, your share of the money is in the usual drawer. Also we are planning on watching a movie.”

“In this case I should quickly take a bath.” I said running to the bathroom on the second floor. Just as I was about to enter the bathroom I was held back by a pair of hands, I turned around and the smile on my face immediately disappeared when I saw who was it that held on to my arm.

“What do you want Ethan?”

“I really want us to get back together please… I know what happen that night was my fault… please give me a chance to start anew with you?” Ethan said as he took a step closer to me extending his hand out to touch my cheeks. I shove his hand away and took a step away from him.

“Do not touch me with those hands! You should have been prepared to lose me after what you did that day.” Not wanting to speak with such a person anymore I entered the bathroom and slammed the door shut. I started to undress and the horrible memories from that night resurfaced. Punching the wall in front of me I shook those memories away and tried to get a hold of myself, letting the warm water fall on my skin as I put the horrible memories aside and just focus on the comfort that the warm water gave.

Within 15 minutes I was out of the showers and went to one of the rooms which had a hairdryer to blow dry my hair. That took me about another 15 minutes and I went down to join the rest who were lounging in the common area. As I walked down the stairs I saw that they had everything prepared from the snacks and drinks to the movie that we would be watching tonight.

“Hey you are down just in time we are going to start the movie soon!” Aiden said excitedly as he stood up and walked towards the disc player.

“Where’s Ethan?” I ask as I grabbed a drink from the coffee table.

“Oh, he said he was feeling a bit under the weather and went home.” Jiyoon answered munching on some chips.

We were watching Underworld, Jiyoon sat beside Jackson who had his arms around her on the floor while Tyler, Aiden, Yerin and I sat on the sofa. The 2 guys sandwich us girls between them, we each held a drink in our hands and watched to movie. By the time the movie ended the whole lot of them had fell asleep on the floor and on the couch, they were all sprawled all over the floor. Sighing to myself, I went to turn off everything and drew the curtains before grabbing a few blankets to cover the rest of them who fell asleep half way through the movie. I took my car keys from the hook by the door and left the hideout. The skies are getting darker and darker by the minute; it wasn’t that I am not tired but I am starving! So I needed to get some food to fill up my tummy, I drove to a nearby Bibimbap shop, found a seat near the corner of the shop and ordered a simple Bibimbap and a small serving of Tteokbokki. I sat down playing with my phone while waiting for my food to be served. The shop was empty so it was very quiet and I like it, the food here is delicious but it’s just that it is 2.15am in the morning and people still had work the next day.

While waiting for my food the door to the shop opened and I looked up to see a guy wearing a suit with a tie that hung loosely around his neck entering the shop, it is not the suit that caught my attention but this guy was out of this world kind of handsome. To say that my heart did not do flips when I look at him would be a lie, to say that he was handsome would be an understatement because he was dashing! He ordered his food and went to find a seat which was about 2 seats away from me, I guess he felt like someone was looking at him because he turned and we made eye contact. I was about to burst then and there already, if my face wasn’t as red as a tomato already I am pretty sure that when he smiled and nodded at me it was. I was so engrossed in trying to calm myself down that I did not notice the staff had place my order down on the table. After lightly slapping my cheeks a few time I calmed down, just a little bit, and started to eat my food but even then thoughts about the mysterious guy is still floating around in my head. An hour passed like that, with me eating and staring at that fine specimen sitting 2 seats away from me, mostly staring though. I hate to leave but if I didn't I'm pretty sure that he'll view me as some kind of creep or something so it's best to leave. I stood up and sneak a last glance at that guy, he had dose off and his sleeping face is so cute. His eyebrows were creased together and was slightly apart just enough for him to breath, seems like he is thinking about something before he fell asleep. I chuckled silently to myself, but just as I was about to leave the shop I came to a conclusion that I should wake him up instead of letting him sleep here in the shop. I turned my body back to the direction that he was sitting at and walked towards him. My right hand reached out to hold on to his shoulder and I shook him lightly which caused him to jolt up and look around with a confused expression on his face, he is absolutely a cutie.

"Hey, you fell asleep so I thought I should probably wake you up so you can be on your way home."

"Ah, thank you" he answered with an oh so y hoarse voice, probably because he just woke up and his vocal cords are not yet warmed up. I tried so hard not to blush, so before I can make a fool out of myself I turned and left the shop.

V POV

I guess I dosed off after eating because I woke up to a girl shaking me awake. I got to say she is beautiful, no wait that would be an understatement she was stunning even in her simple graphic tee and denim shorts. She had on a warm and soft smile that pushed her rosy cheeks up just a little, and it was enough to make me get lost in her presence. I was about to ask if she needed a lift home as it was late but then I stopped to think again, wouldn’t it be weird? But by the time I decided if I should give her a lift home she had already left. *Way to go Taehyung.* I thought and inwardly groaned. I picked up my coat and left as well since it was already 3.30 in the morning and I have to be back in the office by 10 later. Trust me when I say I will not get enough sleep, after all the things I did today I am exhausted and I still have to finish up my report that needs to be handed in my tomorrow to my boss. My back ached and so did my jaw, who knew a girl could throw a punch that well. I swung my coat over my shoulder and walked out the shop yawning. I walked over to my car that I parked a few blocks away. As I pass by an alley I'm sure I heard some noise like someone was in there, I stopped to make sure I had heard clearly. When I didn't hear sounds I'm pretty sure it was just my head messing with me, I seriously need to sleep. I yawned as I press the button on the small remote which controls my car, I threw my jacket in and was ready to step in myself when suddenly I heard shouting from the alley.

"Get away from me! Don't make me kick your like last time!"

*slap*

"I don't take orders from you missy"

I slam my car door shut and ran towards the alley *seriously why can't these people just go home and not cause trouble*

Minjung POV

After I walked out of the shop I couldn't stop smiling to myself, I felt like a little school girl fangirl-ing over her ultimate crush. I walk to my car humming to a happy tune at the same time but just as I was about to enter my car someone grabbed me from behind and dragged me to an alley before throwing me towards the wall which caused my back to hit the cold solid wall hard. I groaned and looked up to see who was the culprit, to my surprise I was a group of people who I beat up a while ago. Hey it wasn't my fault that they tried to harass me and even tried to kidnap me!

"What do you want now? Didn't I already teach you not to mess with me the last time?"

"That was in the past, now we are stronger and.. I.Will.Have.You.Tonight." their so called leader walked towards me as he said each word. He tried to reach his hand out to touch my cheeks but I slapped his hand away *What is with people touching my cheeks* I thought and mentally frowned. He tried to advance on me once again but by this time I am already back on my feet, I punched him "Get away from me! Don't make me kick your like last time!" he stood up and wipe the blood away from the side of his lips. He looked at me and chuckled as he walked toward me, suddenly his expression change to a menacing one before he slapped me across the face "I don't take orders from you missy" He was about to hit me once more but before he could do so he was pulled away from me and slammed into the nearby dustbin. Because it was so dark I couldn't see who was it that interfered, I walked forward and a hand came out to grabbed on to my wrist and pulled me out of the alley. When we were back out in the light I could finally see who it was that saved me, to my surprise, again, it was the guy from the Bibimbap shop earlier on!

"Are you okay? Did they do anything?" He examined me worry evident in his eyes.

"No I'm fine, what were you doing in the alley though?"

"Well I was about to enter my car when I heard you shouting about how you will kick their then I heard a slap and I ran over immediately."

My cheeks flushed red in embarrassment "ahhh, thanks anyways. But how did you enter and take out the other 3 guys without me hearing you?"

"Good question, that will be a question I'll answer when I see you the next time." he answered me and laughed a little.

"How are you so sure that you are going to see me once again?" I asked curiously and put on a playful smile.

"I just know." he said smiling brightly. His smile was so bright that it could light up the entire world, he was so cute I had a hard time resisting squishing his cheeks.

"Well, then I guess we'll just see about that won't we."

"Do you need a lift home?"

"It’s okay I drove here." I replied as I pointed to my car a little further away from his car.

 "Okay then you best be on your way"

"I’ll be taking my leave now." I did a curtsey playfully and he did a bow. For some reason I feel very comfortable around him even though I just met him and I don't know his name. I was about to enter my car when I heard "Hey! What’s your name?" I turned around "Good question, that will be a question I'll answer when I see you the next time" I replied repeating what he said earlier on.

"Mark my words! We'll see each other very soon then!" He chuckled and so did I before we both entered our respective cars. *I hope to see you real soon mysterious man* I thought and speed off into the night.
