Click, click, click. Mingyu’s keyboard produced rhythmic sounds as he typed a reply to the message on his phone. He giggled girlishly and then rolled around in bed like a child fed way too much sugar.

His actions registered as awfully suspicious to their observant leader-hyung.

“Mingyu, what are you doing?”

“Nothing,” Mingyu replied in a sing-song voice that only added to his suspicions.

“Who are you talking to?”

“None of your business.”

Mingyu stuck his tongue out and attempted to go to bed by turning off the lights. He had to develop a habit of placing his phone far, far away from his bed so that he wouldn’t grab it and text endlessly through the night.

His screen flashed briefly and alas, Kim Mingyu could not resist temptation. He charged straight for his phone, maneuvering swiftly in the darkness.

YOUNGHEE: It’s cold.

Mingyu: I’m cold too.

YOUNGHEE: Come here.

Mingyu: I can’t. I won’t sleep if I do. It’s comeback season too…

YOUNGHEE: Rest in the car.

Mingyu: You’re tempting me…

YOUNGHEE: Otherwise just sleep with me…

Mingyu: Will you really sleep?

YOUNGHEE: Of course. I need to sleep…

Mingyu: I don’t believe you ._.

YOUNGHEE: Suit yourself then. Don’t come. Good night.

Mingyu: Meanie…

YOUNGHEE: Door is unlocked, btw.

Mingyu was never one to resist temptation anyways. He placed his phone down to charge and tiptoed out of his room, careful not to way his roommates--Joshua and Dino—up.

His eagerness had caused him to forget all about his phone. After all, the only person Mingyu would ever obsess over his phone for had just beckoned him over. His poor phone, therefore, became utterly useless to him at that moment.

Suspicion had gotten the best of SEVENTEEN’s capable leader and he had been eyeing Mingyu’s phone since Mingyu’s case of the giggles began.

One fateful evening, when little Kim Mingyu was busily taking a shower, and most definitely not on his phone (after all, who brought their phone into the shower?), Seungcheol-hyung managed to secure Mingyu’s phone. He unlocked it swiftly in one go, immediately opening up his messages.

Mingyu: Pabo for you.

YOUNGHEE: What are you waiting for then?

Mingyu: For you.

YOUNGHEE: Just come here already. You pabo.

Mingyu: :) omw

Seungcheol couldn’t believe his eyes. He had no idea Mingyu was dating someone. Clearly from the messages on his phone, his relationship had gone quite far…

YOUNGHEE: I’m hungry.

Mingyu: What do you want to eat?

YOUNGHEE: Anything…

Mingyu: How about me?

YOUNGHEE: You what?

Mingyu: :( Fine then, how do rice burgers sound?

YOUNGHEE: I’ll have the ‘me’.

Mingyu: Ay~ ;)

Seungcheol kept scrolling through, reading the very cheesy exchange between Mingyu and this ‘Younghee’.

YOUNGHEE: Sorry…

Mingyu: It’s okay :)

YOUNGHEE: Want to go to the hospital?

Mingyu: NOOOOOOO!

YOUNGHEE: Then?

Mingyu: How can I go to the hosp
