No Flirting, Just Scheming
Gossip Guy“Mr. Kim, someone is here to see you but he is not the other Mr. Kim.”
Without lifting his head from the book, Ryeowook lifted his hand and waved it, telling his house maid, Zhou Mi, to let him in. When he heard a disapproving noise, Ryeowook lifted his head and frowned at the tall Chinese man who had a doubtful look on his face.
“What is it?” Ryeowook asked although he really wasn’t at all interested to knowing what it was all about.
“It’s just,” Zhou Mi leaned in, “That is not the other Mr. Kim.”
Ryeowook shrugged, “I know.”
“Would the other Mr. Kim be okay with this?” Zhou Mi asked in his very broken Korean and Ryeowook rolled his eyes at his house maid. Seriously, who was he working for? Him or Yesung?
“Yesung won’t be mad because he won’t know because no one is going to tell him and” Ryeowook pointedly warned. “For once, that no one actually includes you.”
“B-But… Mr Kim, are you sure? That person outside, his eyes speaks,” A frown played on the china-man’s lips as he leaned in closer and whispered in a hushed tone, “Evil.”
Rolling his eyes at his over-dramatic house maid, Ryeowook instructed the maid to get out and just bring his guest in. Zhou Mi huffed but did as he was told disappearing and reappearing with the guest by his side. Before leaving, Zhou Mi gave Ryeowook a disapproving look and Ryeowook quickly pulled his guest into his room and shut the door behind him, into Zhou Mi’s face. That will teach his nosy Yesung-fan house maid.
Turning around, Ryeowook’s met with huge dark eyes and pinkish smirking lips, “Why, aren’t you one eager beaver?”
“Good morning to you too, Cho.” Ryeowook muttered.
Kyuhyun’s eyes scanned across Ryeowook’s room before he lazily gazed back at Ryeowook, “We’ve only joined forces for two days and you’re already inviting me to your bedroom… I like it.”
“God, Cho.” Ryeowook rolled his eyes as he walked towards Kyuhyun, poking him in his chest, “No flirting, just scheming.”
The corners of Kyuhyun’s eyes crinkled as Ryeowook shook his head, walking towards his desk. He pulled up a page on his macbook, and then gestured for Kyuhyunt to take a look at it. Kyuhyun took a seat next to him, eyes scanning over the page on the screen.
“You did good on your research,” Kyuhyun said and then read aloud, “Lee Hyukjae, Seoul High School, senior and… Hmm… What’s this… Ah, so he’s aiming for Sapphire University Law School just like Yesung?”
Ryeowook snorted while Kyuhyun continued reading silently and then once he was done, glanced back at Ryeowook, “That’s absurd. We all know that school only accepts the socialites in Seoul.”
“That’s right,” Ryeowook nodded, “But the school also accepts those who finishes in the top five percent of their class and Lee Hyukjae,” Ryeowook paused, “Has been one of smartest students in his class.”
“Ah, so he has a chance?”
“Yes, he does but guess what?” Ryeowook grinned while Kyuhyun tilted his head, he continued though when Kyuhyun looked like he had no clue what was going on, “As the current school president, I’m pleased to inform you that Ivy Week is in two weeks.”
Kyuhyun blinked, still not getting it while Ryeowook sighed, “Ivy Week is when all the representatives from different respected colleges in our country come down and-”
“I know that, idiot,” Kyuhyun frowned, “But I don’t know why you’re bringing this up. As far as I know-”
“You don’t know anything so listen first, Cho.” Ryeowook interrupted with a bratty smile, “As tradition, our school will be having a Friday Night Mixer where only students in the top five percent of their class gets to go to the event to give a good impression to the college representatives and there’s no doubt, Hyukjae’s going to be invited. Definitely, I bet Hyukjae’s been waiting his whole life for this opportunity.”
“But luckily for the both of us, I’m the head organizer of this event and I can always,” Ryeowook paused, smirking, “Un-invite certain students.”
Kyuhyun leaned back against the seat, looking satisfied, “So you’re saying, you’re gonna pull him out of the list?”
“Better,” Ryeowook’s lips lifted into a marvelled smile, “I’m going to get his hopes up and then crush it up. Of course, Lee Hyukjae will be invited to the event but on the day of event, I’ll simply take him off the list and-”
“And he’ll look like an idiot trying to get in when his name clearly isn’t on the guest list.” Kyuhyun finished off, thrilled by Ryeowook’s evil plan, “Holy , Yesung is right, you’re a when you want to be one.”
Ryeowook grinned, winking. “Now, I take that as a compliment.”
“I don’t know if I should be afraid or right now.”
Ryeowook flipped Kyuhyun the finger and then went on of his plan and how to go about doing it while Kyuhyun listened, constantly throwing praises at Ryeowook for being this sly and evil. Ryeowook’s schemes were on another level and Kyuhyun was impressed beyond words. Once they were done, Kyuhyun pushed his seat back and got up.
“Now that you’ve got your revenge plan against Hyukjae,” Ryeowook begun, “I expect you to do some work. I need some dirt and a dirty plan on Donghae and you’re falling behind.”
“Oh, trust me sweetcakes, I’ll give you something worth waiting for.” Kyuhyun reassured, “Just give me a little bit of time.”
Ryeowook scoffed, “I hope it’s good, Cho.”
Kyuhyun replied with a smirk, “It’ll be, of course. Now, if you excuse me, I’ve to get going.”
“Where are you going?” Ryeowook asked and then found that it was pretty awkward since… He never bothered asking about Kyuhyun’s whereabouts before this.
“My, my, R, only two days working with me and you’re already this obsessed with me?” Kyuhyun teased playfully, “You must really like me.”
Ryeowook rolled his eyes and pointed at the door, “You k
