You sat there on your couch sobbing like a little baby, you felt so sad and devastated and miserable, why you might ask, did something happen, the answer is no, nothing happened, nothing was wrong, but you were reading a heart-wrenching book, that took over your existence.

You cried your eyes out and put the book on the coffee table and proceeded to cry some more, for the last few days you were hooked on reading this book, it consumed you just like every other book you read before, you didn’t eat much or sleep much because you were too into it, that and you really missed your boyfriend, but you understood that that was his job and he was busy with the comeback and whatnot.

Anyways you continued to sob remembering the sadness of the book, and it got you thinking what would ever happen to you if he just left, would you be able to survive without him, would you be able to move on, you cried even harder at the thought.

After a while when you managed to calm yourself down and catch your breath from all the crying you did.

You heard the door being unlocked and peeked into the hall just to see you lovely sweetheart taking his shoes off,

he stood up after putting his shoes in the shoe rack only to see you, face red, and eyes puffy, and his heart stopped for a minute and it fell to his feet from the fear that crept inside him, he went over to you and frantically started checking you and questioning you

“baobei what’s wrong? Are you okay? What happened? Why were you crying?” You hugged his waist and you couldn’t help but sob again,

“Baobei you would never leave me right ?” You asked through your sobs and he hugged you tightly

“Of course I would never leave you,my love” He cupped your face in his hands “Now can you please tell me what this is about”,

You rubbed the tears out of your eyes with your sleeve and looked up at him “Promise you won’t laugh”

He looked at you skeptically before nodding,

“Well I have been reading this book, and it’s really sad and it got me thinking about a lot of things…” you trailed off,

He sighed of relief and released the breath he didn’t know he was holding

“Baobei you scared half to death, I thought something bad happened” He whined so adorably and hugged you.

You then proceeded to the couch and snuggled to him, he your hair soothingly, humming a sweet tune along the way.

You suddenly looked up at him “Xing, what would happen to me if you were to ever leave me ? I don’t think I can be without you” You confessed feeling tears threatening your eyes again,

He kissed both your eyelids and held his pinky “I promise you my love I will never leave you, I’ll be with you forever” you intertwined your pinky to his “forever” you repeated as he leaned down and kissed you.

You didn’t know what the future held or what would happen to you two but for now as long as you have yixing by your side, you had nothing to worry about .
