You were currently sitting in your favorite restaurant with your lovely boyfriend, it was a nice quite little family restaurant , that wasn’t too far from your place, you ate here a lot you were basically family, you told Minseok you wanted to come here today because you wanted to see one of your favorite places in Seoul.

The owner was a really nice lady who took good care of you ever since you first came here, apparently she knew your parents because they met at her restaurant, coincidently enough this exact restaurant is where you and Minseok first met.

Just being here made you feel sort of nostalgic, you spaced out and you didn’t notice the hand waving in front of your face

“Hello .. earth to Hana”

You snapped out of your thoughts and gave him sheepish smile “Sorry I spaced out a little”

“What are you thinking about ?” he asked smiling at you

“I was just thinking how funny it is, I mean what are the odds, my parents met at this place and I got to meet you here, funny isn’t it ?” You explained,

He just smiled watching how your eyes shone talking about it.

“I guess we are meant to be then” he grinned at you,

You giggled “I’m starting to think this place is good karma for me, my lucky charm”

He laughed “aren’t charms supposed to be small though”

“So?! … I don’t care this place is my lucky charm and that’s that” you crossed your arms childishly in front of your chest and pouted.

Minseok just chuckled at your cuteness and leaned down to kiss your pouty lips which you happily obliged to, that is until the little booth was opened and you heard the lady’s voice, you quickly jumped away from each other earning a chuckle from the lady as she said : “ah young love”

You blushed madly before stuttering a greeting “Hello, Auntie”  you bowed a little, she nods her head towards you in acknowledgement, after a few minutes of small talk and asking about your parents she retreated to the kitchen to get your usual orders, you turned to Minseok when she left and you both started laughing.

Soon enough your orders were there and you mentally prepared yourself for the battle with the chopsticks, after all these years in Korea you have yet to learn how to use them, and even though the Auntie brought you a spoon and a fork so you don’t have to use them, but you were determined.

After a few minutes of struggling, you heard Minseok laughing, you glared at him and pouted “This not funny” you huffed and continued to pout,

“Aw I’m sorry baby, it kinda is, and you look so adorable struggling with those chopsticks” he cooed and pinched your cheeks,

You whined when he pinched your cheeks.

He chuckled “Maybe we should get you those chopsticks that kids use to learn eating” he suggested rather amused by teasing you like this “And after you learn then you can use grown up chopsticks” he laughed.

“you are really enjoying this aren’t you ?! you are such a meanie” he laughed at your childish comment as you continued to struggle with the stupid chopsticks.

Minseok then moved to your side of the table, so he was sitting next to you, he grabbed your hand and showed you how to hold them, after a few failed attempts you finally grabbed food with them and put it into your mouth, “Yay I actually used chopsticks , yay” you cheered like a kid,

Minseok just chuckled amused by your reaction, after dinner you two walked around a bit, before heading home.

The memory of this certain date is one you will remember for a long time .
