The night fell on beautiful Seoul, but it never quieted it one bit, you can still hear traffic noises and people talking and shouting, and music coming from shops, it was a city that truly never sleeps.

However that was not the reason sleep left you tonight, it wasn’t because the lively night city but because you miss a certain someone that your bed felt so empty and lonely without.

It has been like this for a few days now, he would be home after you slept and leave before you woke up, with nothing but yesterday’s clothes as a proof that he was actually there, you missed him but you couldn’t blame him or be upset with him, because you knew more than anyone how important this was and how hard he works, you knew what you signed up for when you decided to stay with him despite him pursuing such a difficult career such as being an idol but that didn’t stop you from wishing you had more time with him.

While you were lost in your thoughts you failed to notice that the door of your apartment opened and closed again, it wasn’t until you heard some rustling in the kitchen that you realized you weren’t alone in the apartment anymore, that could only mean one thing, your heart raced at the thought as you got out of your bed and headed towards the kitchen, your heart fluttered and broke  as soon as you saw his tired figure, he was working too hard, you couldn’t stop yourself as you ran and hugged him from behind, he jumped a little not expecting that

“Baobei, you scared me. Why are you still up?” You hugged him tighter and he put his hands on yours,

“I couldn't sleep….. you look tired” you said quietly against his back, he turned around and hugged you nuzzling his head in the crook of you neck

“Practice is a little tough, but I’m okay” he said his voice muffled by your hair,

“Baby, let’s go to bed, you need sleep” you said dragging him to the bedroom.

He changed his clothes and joined you in bed,

Luhan brought you closer to him so your head was on his chest and you were engulfed in his arms, you started drawing random patterns on his chest, drawing a picture from your imagination

“I miss you” you said quietly thinking he already fell asleep, but to your surprise he wasn’t

“I miss you too baobei so much” he replied “I know we haven’t been able to spend time together these past few days, but you know I love you, right?” he said asking for reassurance

“I know baby, I love you too” you said reassuringly and kissed his chest.

 This world is so chaotic

“I wasn’t going to say anything till tomorrow to surprise you but we have a day off tomorrow”

Your face lit up hearing the news and you looked up at him smiling like a child on Christmas morning

“Really ??”, He hummed a response

“So I have you all to myself tomorrow” you said unintentionallysounding suggestive.

He smiled big at your statement “Yes, you do, you can do whatever you want with me tomorrow” he winked at you,

You blushed and hit his chest playfully then buried your face in it.

After a few quite minutes enjoying his warm embrace “goodnight baby” you said and kissed his chest yet again, he smiled at the affection and kissed your forehead muttering a ‘goodnight’ before he proceeded to lull you to sleep with your favorite lullaby .
