Characters:

Seo Joo Hyun (Seohyun)

Seohyun is an obedient 16-year old girl that is completely satisfied with her life, despite having no friends. She has always been intelligent and is very mature for her age, which is a reason why she can't fit in with other girls. Seohyun would rather spend time talking about math equations and history than fashion. She also has an intense dislike for boys, particularly because the ones at her school are erted and always goofing off. Despite her timid nature, Seohyun is surprisingly able to hold her own against Yonghwa.

Jung Yonghwa

Yonghwa is a 16-year old delinquent that is your typical, rebellious teenager. He smokes, drinks, and skips school to fight other guys. Yonghwa has a lot of stress, mainly from money issues in his family. His mother is too weak to work, so he's the one that has to get money to pay for his younger sister's education and his mother's medicine. He works multiple part-time jobs, though quits a good amount of them after Seohyun convinces him. Although there are many bad rumors about him, Yonghwa is a generally kind person once you get to know him.

Kim Jaejoong

Jaejoong is the 27-year old "nurse" of the school. He is determined to change Seohyun and Yonghwa for the better, although his methods don't quite work at first. He is intelligent and enjoys having conversations with Seohyun about "nerdy" things, according to Yonghwa. He notices the attraction between Yonghwa and Seohyun early on and tries to help Yonghwa get Seohyun's attention. Surprisingly, he is the only adult that Yonghwa can honestly say his feelings and troubles to.

Lee Jieun (aka IU)

Jieun is Seohyun's first friend. She is a cute, bubbly girl that is aiming to become a singer, though none of her auditions have been successful so far. Jieun is an outcast at their school, due to her naturally cute appearance. Many girls are envious and sabatoged her in freshmen year by making it seem as though Jieun was a . She is always there to comfort Seohyun and give her helpful advice.

Goo Hara

Hara is a gorgeous, rich girl that enjoys clubbing a lot. She is instantly attracted to Yonghwa, due to his good looks and cool personality. She even transfers to his school to win his heart. She is not taken seriously by Yonghwa, which annoys her. Hara has an intense dislike for Seohyun, who grabs Yonghwa's attention easily and quickly. She has both boys and girls kneeling at her feet to fulfill her every command.

A/N: This is my first story on AFF, so I hope you guys like it. I've been a long time goguma couple lover, so I'm very excited to start this fanfic. I am still debating on who to make the antagonists, like the rival for Seohyun and the rival for Yonghwa.
