8. I'm sorry!

JB keep calling and Jackson still ignoring the elder’s call and turns on the music. It was so loud that the younger only could hear the music and nothing more. Hours went and it was already next morning, Jackson didn’t sleep at all, he stayed all night up crying until he didn’t even have any strength or tears left to cry. He forced himself up from his bed to the bathroom, Jackson took a shower before he changed to new clothes. Jackson didn’t have any appetite to eat any breakfast, he just wants to go to school and take his exam and back to his bed. The younger opens the main door and a sleepy body fell down on the floor, a body Jackson are familiar to and could recognise right away, but don’t want to see right now, it was JB.

“Ouch….” JB yelps and opens his eyes, Jackson stared at the older without saying anything. JB stands up and their eyes met.

“Baby…..” JB said and tried to hold the younger’s hand, but Jackson yanked it away

“I have to go to school, I have to take the exam…..” Jackson said and tried to leave, but JB stopped the younger from leaving

“Please let me explain everything, I know you are upset and I know I hurts you, but please listen to me…..” JB pleaded

“I only gives you five minute….” Jackson looked at his watch and said, he went inside again and sat at the couch. JB close the door after him and followed the younger to sit at the couch

“I’m sorry……” JB started and looked down

“Let’s break up…..” Before JB said anything more, Jackson said

“No, I don’t want to…..” JB tried to protest

“You don’t want to break up with me is because Jinyoung didn’t accept you right? You don’t want to lose both me and Jinyoung, when Jinyoung rejected you, you want to still have me” Jackson started and made a fake laugh “If Jinyoung accepted you, would you even bother to come here? I know that you only accepted my confession and become my boyfriend because I used my own life you save your life.” Jackson said without looking at he older

“I’m sorry, I know that I’m a jerk, but please let me explain…..”

“Do you know what……” Jackson broke the elder’s sentence “I read a book once and in the end of the book the author wrote a sentence that really touched me, he wrote ‘If you really love someone, you wouldn’t force him to be with you even you knew that he wasn’t happy, you would let go, because you knew he will be happy when he is free, loving someone isn’t to possess him, but let him go and let him find his own happiness……..isn’t it a great quote? I want you to be happy and have your own happiness…….let’s break up……I’m letting you go……” Jackson said and his tears fell, the younger stands up and head to the main door

“Just close the door when you are leaving, it will lock automatic by itself…..” Jackson said and left, JB didn’t knew what he could say, because all the younger have said was true, he wouldn’t have accepted Jackson if the younger didn’t saved his life, but what the younger didn’t know is JB already fell in love with him by the time of being Jackson’s boyfriend

Jackson met with Jinyoung and Mark at the corridor who were also on the way to have the exam, Jackson had mixed feelings of if he should greet them or not, should he be mad at Jinyoung, his bestfriend or not. Jinyoung runs to Jackson and Mark runs after, they stopped in front of Jackson and they looked at each other awkwardly in silence

“Jackson…..” Jinyoung started and Jackson looked at his bestfriend’s eyes “I’m sorry, I know that I hurt you…..” Jinyoung said and looked down

“It’s okay, you didn’t do anything wrong, it’s not like you cheated at me with JB-hyung or something…..” Jackson said and smiled, Jinyoung lifted his head and looked at Jackson with a ‘sorry’ look

“I promise there nothing between me and JB-hyung, yes we liked each other before, but we never started a relationship and I only love Mark-hyu…….”

“But JB-hyung still loves you…..” Jackson broke Jinyoung’s sentence

“Will you break up with JB-hyung?” Jinyoung asked with his head down

“I already did” Jackson’s word shocked both Jinyoung and Mark

“You met with him? What did he say? Did he just accept your break up without apologising? Did he just gave up on you like this? OMG this jerk……” Jinyoung was mad and Mark rubbed the younger’s back tried to calm Jinyoung down

“He have his right to like you Jinyoung, is not that he ever loved me, he just accepted me as his boyfriend because you rejected him and I saved his life…….” Jackson said with a smile on his face, but both Jinyoung and Mark knew that Jackson was hurt, he just doesn’t want to show it

They went in to the room where they will take their exam, they were waiting for their teacher to come, no one talked and it was just silence. A familiar figure came in to the room, it wasn’t the teacher, but JB, he was going to take his exam too. He looked at Jackson, but the younger just looked away, not wanting to have any eye contact with him. JB then looked at Jinyoung, but the younger looked down, don’t know what to do. JB looked at Mark at the end and the older gave JB a sympathy smile and JB smiled back before he finds a place to sit.

The exam ended and Jackson left the room without bid goodbye to anyone, he just wanted to leave. JB stormed after the younger and both Jinyoung and Mark runs after since they were worried of they would start a fight. JB grab Jackson’s wrist and made the younger stop, Jackson tried to yank the elder’s hand away, but JB just pulled Jackson into a tight hug instead of letting him go.

“Let go….” Jackson shouted and tried to push JB away, but the older is stronger

“No, I won’t…..I love you, I won’t let you go……” JB shouted back and Mark and Jinyoung just stand there watching don’t know what to do

Jackson used all his strength and pushed the older from hugging him and slapped JB hard on the face

“You are just saying this because you know Jinyoung would never accept you, you want to have me back just because you can’t have Jinyoung……” Jackson shouted with tears

“Please listen to me baby…….” JB said and tried to hold the youngers hand, but Jackson yanked it away

“Don’t call me baby…….I already dumped you this morning and I will never accept you back…..” Jackson shouted between his sob and runs away

JB broke down with tears, he cried hard and loud, Jinyoung and Mark squad down and tried to comfort. After a while JB finally calmed down and sat with Jinyoung and Mark at the cafeteria.

“Are you okay JB-hyung?” Jinyoung asked out of his worry

“I’m fine……I’m sorry……” JB said with his head down

“It’s okay hyung, but……do you actually love Jackso……”

“I do……” JB answered before Jinyoung could finish his sentence “I really do, I’m just so dumb that I didn’t realise it before now” JB lifted his head and started “I always took Jackson’s love toward me like granted, I never realised how much Jackson is for me until now……I’m too competiveness, I was mad because Jinyoung choose Mark-hyung and not me, I wanted to win Jinyoung’s heart because I don’t want to lose to Mark-hyung, I don’t like it when I know someone else is better than me……..but actually my feeling for Jinyoung is already over for long time ago and my feelings for Jackson have been growing day by day” JB explained his feelings and wipes his tears who felled down again

“We will help you…..” Both Jinyoung and JB looked at Mark surprised from the elder’s word

“Why are you guys looking at me so surprised” Mark said and looked at them

“Are you not mad at me hyung?” JB asked looking at the older

“No……” Mark said and looked down, both Jinyoung and JB were silence looking at the older like Mark made the biggest lie ever

“OK, OK, I admit that I was mad at you at first, you tried to make me and Jinyoung break up and the worst is you kissed my Jinyoungie…..” Mark said in an angry tone

“I’m sorry hyung……” JB apologised again and looked down feeling guilty

“It’s okay, Jinyoung already calmed me down and I will help you to get Jackson back…..”

JB really appreciate that Jinyoung and Mark wanted to help him, they bid goodbye and went separated way. Mark were driving and Jinyoung is sitting at the passenger seat looking at the older, there were silence, no one talked and Mark felt the younger’s gaze toward him.

“Why are you staring at me like that Jinyoungie? It’s uncomfortable……” Mark said without looking at the younger, eyes on the road

“So you already felt uncomfortable and tired of your lover ME looking at you, are you already tired of me?” Jinyoung said in angry tone and crossed his arm looked away from his lover

Mark started to panic of the younger sudden behaviour, he parked the car at a sideway right away and cupped the younger’s face to make Jinyoung face him

“How can I be tired of you, I love you so much and I will never be tired of you, I always wants more of you, I’m sorry if I made you misunderstand with my word, I’m not uncomfortable with you, it was just that your stare were kind of creepy……” Mark said nervously

“So you are saying that I’m creepy……” Jinyoung said and yanked the elder’s hand from his face, it made Mark more nervous

“No, no, you are not creepy, agrh……what to do? I’m sorry Jinyoungie……I’m just……I’m…..” Mark stuttered and Jinyoung started to laugh, it made Mark really flustered

“I’m just kidding with you Markie-poo, you look so cute when you are nervous” Jinyoung said and pecked on Mark’s lips

“Park Jinyoung, don’t joke around like this ever again, do you know how nervous I was, I thought we will have our first fight…….” Mark said in an angry tone and it’s now Jinyoung turn to feel sorry

“I’m sorry……” Jinyoung said with his puppy eyes that Mark can’t never resist

“It’s okay, but why you stare at me earlier?” Mark asked

“Because I’m curious why my boyfriend wanted to help JB-hyung that was once his rival…..”

“I just wanted to help”

“Really……” Jinyoung said with a susceptive stare at his lover

“Okay, I admit that wasn’t just because I wanted to help……mhm…….I can never know if JB is telling truth or not about his feeling towards you is over, but if I get him back with Jackson then maybe he will…….” Mark said shyly and Jinyoung just laughed at the older

“Don’t laugh and it is unfair that you always can read me like an open book….” Mark said and pouted

“Ok, Ok, I’m sorry, I just didn’t know that my lover can be so possessive towards me” Jinyoung said and winked to Mark 

“It’s okay, but wait what did you call me earlier?”

“Markie-poo…….” Jinyoung said and smiled shyly “I wanted to give you a nickname too, that only I can call…” Jinyoung said and his face already red

“Do you know what? You are the cutest person ever, especially when you are shy and blushing” Mark said and gave the younger a kiss on the lips, after their little make out, they drove home.
