16. What Should I Do?

 

 

Jinyoung got teary eyes, he hurried and closed the door behind him before the elder could notice him. Jinyoung couldn’t believe what he just saw, he can’t believe the elder just kissed another girl right in front of his eyes. The younger felt like someone just stabbed a knife right into his heart, he can feel that his heart is now bleeding

 

 

Jinyoung wanted to escape as soon as possible, but before he could run out of the café he bumps into Minwook

 

 

“Oh, wasn’t Mark-hyung at the locker room? Why you come out so fast?” Minwook asked curiously

 

 

“Ah…I forgot that I had something important to do so… I’m leaving first…mhm can you please don’t tell Mark-hyung that I have been here today?” Jinyoung explained and pleaded while he tried his best not to let his tears fall down

 

 

“Yeah, but why?”

 

 

“Eh…I will tell him myself so… just don’t tell him please…….” Jinyoung stuttered a little and said

 

 

“Oh…Okay, sure I won’t tell…”

 

 

“Thank you…” Jinyoung said and ran out of the café

 

 

“He is weird, how come he always come and order drink, but never drink it and run out with teary eyes every time…” Minwook thought and went back to work

 

 

“Is Mark-hyung cheating? Who is that girl? Why is Mark-hyung kissing her? Doesn’t he love me anymore? No! he told me that he only loves me. He would never cheat, but why did he kiss her then? Why? Why? Why?” All those question appeared on Jinyoung’s mind while he was running away, not knowing where he is running to or what he should do

 

 

Jinyoung went home and hided himself inside the closet, he curled himself into a ball and had his head on his knees. Jinyoung always had this habit since his mother died, that no one knew about and that is he will always hide himself into a closet and cry whenever he is sad or scared.

 

 

“Did he really cheat? Will he break up with me and leave me alone? Umma, what should I do?” Jinyoung asked in his mind while he cried none stop

 

 

Jinyoung cried and cried until he had no more tears and slowly fell asleep.

 

 

Mark just got off work and heading home, with thoughts in his mind “Should I tell him? I should be honest with him right? But how will he react when he finds out? Umma, Appa, what should I do?” Mark asked in his mind and slowly opened the main door to his and Jinyoung’s home

 

 

The light was on, but the one who came and welcomed the elder home was Coco and Not Jinyoung. The younger wasn’t there, Mark looked around the apartment, but couldn’t find the younger. Mark sat on the bed in their bedroom and tried to call the younger, he heard the phone is calling, he also heard Jinyoung’s ringtone inside of the closet. The elder ended the call and slowly opened the door to the closet and there he found the younger curled like a ball sleeping.

 

 

“Jinyoungie…Jinyoungie…” Mark said and pushed the younger lightly, trying to wake Jinyoung up

 

 

Jinyoung stirred a little and slowly opened his eyes and saw the elder

 

 

“Why are you sleeping inside the closet?” Mark asked, but the younger just stared at the elder without saying a single word

 

 

“Come out first…” Mark said and helped the younger out of the closet

 

 

“Why are you inside of the closet?” Mark asked again, holding Jinyoung’s both hands

 

 

“Eh…mhm…I…” Jinyoung stuttered “What should I say?” Jinyoung thought, not knowing what to say

 

 

“Jinyoung?” Mark asked worried, made Jinyoung back to reality

 

 

“Ah…I was going to give you a surprise and scare you, but I fell asleep…” Jinyoung lied and looked down, he decided to wait until the elder himself telling him about the girl. He was too scared to start this topic, scared that the elder would leave him

 

 

“Babo…” Mark knocked the younger on the forehead, before he pulled Jinyoung into a hug

 

 

“How am I supposed to tell you Jinyoung? I can’t tell you, you would just get hurt…” Mark thought and hugged the younger tightly

 

 

“I can smell a girlish perfume on him, it must be from that girl…” Jinyoung thought while he hugged the elder back and slowly closed his eyes

 

 

That night Mark hugged Jinyoung to sleep, but the younger didn’t felt the peacefulness and calmness he always felt when the elder hugged him to sleep, he felt uneasy and scared.

 

 

After that night, Jinyoung couldn’t thought of anything else other than the scene where Mark were kissing that girl. He couldn’t focus on his studies and got yelled on many times for not focusing on class. All his friends have notices that there something going on, that’s why Jinyoung were like that. They asked, but Jinyoung just smiled and said nothing was going on and said that he was just tired.

 

 

Before the lunch hour was over, JB dragged Jinyoung up to the rooftop, there were no one there, just the two of them. They sat on the floor beside each other, back facing the wall.

 

 

“Did you fight with Mark?” JB asked straightforwardly

 

 

“No…” Jinyoung said without looking at JB or not dared to look at JB, because he knew that he can never hide something from the elder whenever he looks at him straight into the eyes

 

 

“Okay, then why are you like that these few days, do you know how many times you got yelled for not focusing on class? I even lost the count…”

 

 

“I told you already, I’m just tired, I couldn’t sleep well lately…”

 

 

“And the reason for you couldn’t sleep well lately is?”

 

 

“Stop asking so many question, you’re annoying…I’m leaving…” Jinyoung said and stands up from his seat, but before he could leave the rooftop, JB grabbed the younger’s wrist and stopped him

 

 

“You know that you always can talk to me right?” JB said and Jinyoung just nodded his head and left without even look at the elder. JB know that forcing Jinyoung to tell him the truth of what’s happening won’t work, the younger would just feel more hurts. He knows that whenever Jinyoung is ready, he will tell JB himself, without anyone forcing the younger.  

 

 

Jinyoung was wearing a black ripped Jeans, black leather jacket, black cap and a black mouth mask, heading to the elder’s working place, the café. He wanted to see how Mark were working or how he is with that girl. He wants to proof to himself that there nothing between Mark and that girl, he forces himself to believe that the elder still loves him. Jinyoung went into the café, ordered an ice coffee and went to sit at a corner.

 

 

Jinyoung saw Mark came out of the locker room and the girl happily came after, they both went to the cashier and served the costumers. The younger can see that the girl is very touchy and like to act aegyo.

 

 

“Mark-oppa, I burned my fingers…” Jinyoung saw the girl pouted and said to Mark with a cute and light tone while she shows hers finger to Mark

 

 

“Why are you so careless?” Jinyoung then saw Mark said it and pulled the girl to cold down her fingers

 

“You are here again, are you looking for Mark-hyung?” a voice got Jinyoung’s attention, is was Minwook

 

 

“How did you recognise me?” Jinyoung asked, he got surprised that Minwook recognised him when he had both cap and mouth mask on

 

 

“Hahaha…I’m actually pretty good at recognise people…” Minwook laughed and said

 

 

“Who is that girl?” Jinyoung asked and pointed at Sana

 

 

“Ah, that is Mark’s girlfriend, her name is Sana”

 

 

“Girlfriend?” Jinyoung felt his heart was bleeding right after he heard the word girlfriend

 

 

“Yeah, that’s wha…” Before Minwook could finish his sentence, Jinyoung already ran out of the café

 

 

“Why I’m a here? Why am I doing this to myself? Park Jinyoung, why are so stupid? Isn’t it obviously that he is cheating with that girl? Why are you denied it and still try to force yourself to think that Mark-hyung still love you? Didn’t you heard what Minwook said, she is Mark-hyung’s girlfriend and you are nothing…” Jinyoung asked himself all those question, but he couldn’t give himself an answer on even one of them. The younger run so fast as he can with tears running down his cheek

 

 

Meanwhile Minwook cleaned the table Jinyoung just sat “He didn’t drink his coffee this time either…” Minwook thought and cleaned Jinyoung’s ice coffee that haven’t been drank off

 

 

“Hyung I have something to tell you can we talk?” Minwook went to Mark and asked

 

 

“Mhm…sure…” Mark said and they left Sana alone and went to the locker room

 

 

“What is it Minwook-ah?” Mark asked and sat on a chair

 

 

“Mhm…you had a friend name Jinyoung right?” Minwook sat on the opposite of Mark and asked

 

 

“Jinyoungie? Yeah…how did you know him? What with him?”

 

 

“Eh…how should say it…mhm…I think you maybe should be a little careful of your friend…” Minwook said

 

 

“Huh? Why?” Mark looked at Minwook confused and asked

 

 

“I think he is a bit creepy and weird, not to be rude to your friend, but…”

 

 

“Did something happened?”

 

 

“Mhm…he always come and order some drink, but never drink it, and he always run out with teary ey…” Minwook said, but his word got cut off

 

 

“Did he come often? He only came once as I know and why did he ran out with teary eyes?” Mark asked and looked at Minwook, he got a bit surprised to hear that the younger had been here often without his knowledge

 

 

“He came for a few times, the first time was on Christmas, when you ran after him, the second time was when you were on break a few days ago, he asked for you and I let him go to the locker room to find you, but he ran out with teary eyes after like a minute or less. I asked him if it is that you weren’t there, but he just say that he needed to go and pleaded me not to tell you that he have been here. And today, he dresses like a stalker and sit at the corner stare at you and Sana and he ran out with teary eyes again…” Minwook explained and it really shocked Mark

 

 

“Which day was the day he asked for me and went to the locker room?”

 

 

“Mhm…just a few days ago…let me think…ah it was Friday…” Minwook said

 

 

“Sana kissed me on Friday…he was here and looked for me on Friday, de he saw us?” Mark thought and felt guilty for not telling the truth to the younger sooner

 

 

“Minwook-ah, I need to go can you close the café today?”

 

 

“Eh…sure, are you okay hyung? I didn’t mean to be rude to your friend…” Minwook said worried, scared for the elder to be mad at him

 

 

“It’s okay Minwook-ah, I have to go now” Mark said and took his keys and ran out, without even change his outfit

 

 

Mark tried to call the younger, but the phone was off. He opened the main door to their apartment, he looked around their apartment, but Jinyoung was nowhere to find.

 

 

“Where are you Jinyoung-ah……” Mark asked in his mind, worried that something may happened to the younger

 

 

“The closet…” Mark remembered where he found the younger last time and ran to the closet

 

 

Mark took a deep breath before he opened the door to the closet and then he saw the younger curled like a ball hiding between the clothes. Jinyoung lifted his head and looked at the elder with tears all over his faces, he has been crying there for don’t know how long. Mark squad down beside the younger and wipes the younger’s tears with his thump, but Jinyoung quickly yanked it away…
