Our Beautiful MistakeYOUR POV:
My hands started to shake violently, as my grip on the small white plastic stick tightens. ‘Has it been three minutes?’ I asked myself as I glanced at my cell phone. In just a few more seconds, my life can either stay as it is, or change forever. The alarm on my clock went off, letting out a deep sigh I glanced down onto the pregnancy test. What I fear is to see the plus sign, and my nightmare has come true. A small plus sign is displayed on the screen of the pregnancy test. Soon my eyes started to sting, as tears started building. Before I knew it I was crying. So many thought’s came flashing in my mind.
‘How will this affect me? How will this affect him? How will this affect us?’
‘How about my dreams, his dreams our dreams?’
‘Do I keep it? Get rid of it? Give it up?’
‘Would he want anything to do with it?’
Shaking my head away from those negative thoughts I wrapped the test up in toilet paper and discard the stick into the trash bin. Slowly getting up from the toilet, I walked my way to the faucet, and the water splashing my face with cold water. From outside the bathroom I could hear my laptop ringing, indicating someone is trying to chat with me via snap chat. Drying my face, I walked out of the bathroom and into my bedroom. I saw his face flashing on the laptop screen. Each step I took toward my desk felt like a mile, and before I knew it I was pulling out the chair, and accepting the incoming call.
Forcing on a smile, I looked at the screen, and saw him. “Did I wake you up?” His soft voice asked. I nodded my head no, as I focused my eyes to my lap. “What time is it over there?” He asked. I took a deep breath praying that my voice wouldn’t crack. “Almost 1 in the morning.” I responded. When I finally recovered my courage I glanced up to the laptop and saw his eyebrows kn
