Xiumin loved the feeling of the cold morning breeze in his face that’s why he decided to walk to work that saturday morning, still remembering the events of the previous night. He still couldn't believe the way Chen took the lead and initiative in that moment but he loved it, he realized that he didn’t actually knew what the other prefered or liked so he decided to talk to Chen about his ual preferences.

That day he was the first one to arrive to his workplace so he opened the shop alone and started cleaning and preparing all the tools that they were going to need for that day’s appointments.  

Chanyeol arrived a couple of minutes later with a tired expression on his face, it was common knowledge that Chanyeol wasn't good with alcohol so Xiumin assumed that it was everything the alcohol’s fault.

“Good morning” Chanyeol’s answer was a loud groan and Xiumin couldn't help but laugh at it.

“Hungover?”

“Yeah, i hate soju i swear”

“I just made coffee and i think we have something for the headache in the cabinet”

“Thanks for the coffee i’m going to need it, busy day today?”

“Not at all, just a couple of appointments, i think is going to be a relaxed day”

“I hope so, is Jongin going to come finally?”

“He said he would but i don't think he will come so early, he drank a lot, and i bet i didn't went straight to bed”

“Well let's wait for him”

 

An awkward silence filled the air, Xiumin realized that when he said that comment about Jongin the other thought about what happened between Chen and him but wasn't sure if it was a good idea to ask about it.

“So, Where’s Chen” asked shyly Chanyeol.

“He is at my house when we woke up he was reeaally hungover so he decided to sleep a bit more after i made him breakfast”

“Good,...........Xiu i’m not stupid i know that both of you probably did it last night so can you promise me something?”

“What is it”

“I know your preferences and i know that some of them can be a bit extreme, so please don't hurt him physically, i bet he hasn't try something like that before so what i’m trying to say is don't scare him”

“Chan i would never do that, i plan on talking to him about it so both of us know our limits, so you don't have to worry”

“Great, now what are those marks on your wrists?”

“Uummm i don't think you want to know about them”

“Did he tie you?” asked Chanyeol with a surprised expression, i simply nod out of embarrassment “You are right, i don't want to know”

 

The two men continued with his work day, as Xiumin anticipates it was a slow day a couple of regular customers went to the shop for cleaning supplies or so Chanyeol or Xiumin would check the progress of their work, and an annoying young girl that went to the shop to do a piercing in her ear she screamed so incredibly loud that Xiumin thought that he had lost the ability to hear from his left ear. Some hours later Jongin entered the shop with a friend both of them chatting excitedly, they had to wait a bit because Chanyeol and Xiumin were occupied in that moment.

 

“Hey Jongin, how are you?”

“Great, what about you Xiumin hyung?”

“Not bad, so did you come to check the piercings?”

“Yeah, this is my friend Sehun, he goes to college with me”

“Hey nice to meet you, so are you Chen’s brother?”

“Nice to meet you too and no i’m his boyfriend, so you know him too?”

“Oh sorry hyung, he helps me with english”

“Well Chanyeol won't take long to finish, so why don't we go to my room and start looking at photos?”

“Sure!” Jongin looked excited and his friend seemed nice too, he had to admit that he felt a little bit of jealousy when the other mentioned Chen, he was quite handsome and was incredibly tall and fit, but he trusted Chen and truth be told he didn't look to interested in Chen.

When they were in the room Sehun looked a little bit apprehensive so he asked him about it.

“Sehun are you okay?”

“Yeah it’s just that i don't like needles”

“Oh i get it, it’s really common, do you guys want anything to drink?”

“No thank you”

“Umm hyung” started Sehun “i wanted to tell you something, i heard what happened with Yongguk”

“If it’s about the ‘thug’ thing you can be relax as you can see i’m not” i said laughing and rapidly the two younger boys laughed with me.

“Actually it’s not about that, i share some classes with Yongguk and his friends and he's really upset about what happened, he keeps on saying that he is going to do something to get revenge and implying that it’s going to be against you and then Chen so i wanted to warn you about it”

“First of all, thank you for coming to tell me this i truly appreciate it, and second what is he planning to do?”

“I don’t know but i worry that is going to try to hurt Chen, he had touched him a couple of times and it scares me, Chen has suffered enough, i don’t want to see him cry again” He said seriously, i was immensely glad that Chen was so protected by his friend, Sehun and Jongin looked genuinely worried about the whole situation.

“And before you imagine things i really love Chen, but as an older brother, he has helped me a lot this past two years”

“Don’t worry i can see you both care about him, so please keep an eye on him, later i’ll give you my number and if you see anything weird please contact me, and for the time being don't tell anything to Chanyeol, he worries too much”

“Sure, i can tell that Chen is really happy with you Xiumin hyung, yesterday both Kyungsoo and i realised how you looked at each other and we hope you all the best”

“Thanks Jongin; and now let’s look at some piercings”

 

A long hour after that conversation Jongin went out of the shop with another appointment for the next week to make his piercings, and left the two artist to close the shop.

Xiumin couldn’t help but think about what Sehun had said earlier and he didn’t like the idea of no one hurting his boyfriend but he decided that for now he wasn’t going to say anything to either of the two sibling about it.

 

When he arrived to the his house Chen wasn’t there but he had left a note in the living room table ‘i’ve made you dinner i hope you like it, later i’m going out with Baek. I’ll call you at night’

Xiumin smiled to himself and went to the bathroom to take a well deserved shower.

 

It was 7 in the afternoon and Chen arrived to the pub where he was going to met with Kyungsoo and Baekhyun, the three of them had to prepare a performance for the next month, it had to be a song composed and sung by them and they haven’t even started yet.

Neither of them were very inspired, actually Baekhyun and Chen felt actually quite sore, and Kyungsoo was enjoying himself laughing at his friends pain.

“How come we are this sore and you are there completely fine, i’m sure you and Jongin did it last night” said Baekhyun slightly annoyed.

“Because he cares about me enough to not left me limping” answered Kyungsoo to his whinny fried “Well, let’s start with the song,have you thought of anything?”

“Not really, but some time ago i wrote a song, so if you want we could use that” offered Chen remembering all those sad days he spent after Junmyeon left him.

“Sure, we just had to prepare the melody”

“I warn you guys, the lyrics are quite sad and depressing, i wrote it after what happened with Junmyeon so yeah it's quite depressing”

“That's better than nothing because we only have two weeks for it” said Kyungsoo

“So why don't you bring the lyrics to class on monday and we discuss it during lunch?”

“Sure!” Chen said glad that he didn't have to keep on being productive, because he was too nervous for that, he still wasn’t sure if he was comfortable bringing back those memories.

“If we are settle, can we not talk about serious things, i don’t think i can handle it” said Baekhyun hoping to change the topic after seeing Chen’s face.

“Then what do you want to talk about Baek?” asked Kyungsoo while taking a ship of his coffee

“Don’t know anything is good” answered him cheerfully “oh! Did Jongin go to the parlor?”

“Yeah he was going to today with Sehun, i guess they are still there”

“I totally thought he was kidding yesterday” Baekhyun retorted.

 

After a couple of hours of gossiping Chen received a test from Xiumin asking about his afternoon and wondering about his plans, he quickly answered that he was going to have dinner with Baek and Kyungsoo but that if he wanted they could meet later. For some reason Xiumin’s answer left hims feeling a bit anxious `great, come to my place whenever you are finish, i would like to talk about something with you. Don’t worry it’s not bad;)´. Even though the older tried to make it seem that everything was fine he wanted to go to his flat as soon as possible to what did the other want to tell him. So after a really nice dinner with his friends and a cocktail, he took a taxi to Xiumin’s house.

 

Chen was a little bit nervous when he arrived at the others house but all his worry dissolved when he saw his boyfriend waiting for him in the door smiling brightly at him “Hey Chen” said while taking him by the hand and pushing him against his chest in a tight embrace. Chen couldn't do anything apart from melt between his strong arms, inhaling the clean smell of soap and kiss him gently in the neck.

Xiumin directed his boyfriend to the couch and sit close to him so that way he could caress the youngers hair.

“So, what did you want to talk about? i got a little nervous when you mention that” asked Chen he wanted to know if anything was wrong

“Sorry i guess it sounded more serious that it actually is”

“So everything is fine?” apprehension was written all over Chen’s face

“Of course it is babe, why wouldn’t it be?” Xiumin scooted even closer sensing how Chen was feeling

“I don’t know, i think i just assumed something was wrong when you said you wanted to talk”

“Relax Chen everything is great, i just want us to talk about ”

I’m incredibly sorry that it took me so long to update and that it’s such a short chapter, but i don’t know why after the first couple of paragraphs i got stuck and i didnt know how to follow the plot, that’s why it took me so long. thankfully i know how i want to keep on with this story and i hope it takes less time to finish the next chapter.
