Minho

Saviour

I was sitting in the corner of my room on the floor, papers all over the floor followed by remains of the days events. My hands over my ears, my earbuds thumping in my ear drums. My head rattled with the song; Savior - SHINee. Across the room even my door looks small, in front of it the few things that kept me living. Little soldier danced in front of me, in white army suits. They tried to distract me from my intentions, the ones that left my scarred and broken. This wasn't the first time I felt like in my twenty-one years, helpless.

I buried my head into my lap curling my legs into my body as tight as I could, the pain becoming unbearable. The splitting feeling in my head, the aching in my heart. Then the music stopped, the room suddenly quiet.

"Jihye." I heard before a pair of hands covered mine over my ears. Even then I could hear his voice loud and clear, I lifted my head to look at him.

"My turn to play goalie, you need a break." He smiled.

"Tune out all those bad thoughts, their just feeding on you."

I pulled his and my hands off my ears and reached out to touch him. Before I could reach him, he had pulled me up into a hug and my feet couldn't touch the ground.

He placed me down and grabbed my waist with one hand, the other hand finding mine. He lead me in a fun swift dance routine, making me forget my worries for a second.

Tipping me into a bow, he whispered. " if you go away, who will be my dance partner?"

Pulling me back to him he let go, fixing his white uniform.

"I will always be your back up, we can't let the other team score can we?"

I didn't even have to say a word, he knew that I felt reassured. That the temporary back up would help me in the long run. His smiles made my heart swell, it made me know everytime I listened to their music they would be right behind me.

"Minho."

"Jihye."

"Thank you."

"No thank you~" he smiled before dragging me out of my room.
