Jimin is in the middle of his study session.

His exams start in two weeks, and he is not one of those people who spend all their time studying, but still, he doesn’t like to be late, so that afternoon he is in he library when he decided he needs some fresh air. 

Outside he lights up a cigarette. He is not addicted, nothing like that, but he believes that people need some kind of…exhaust valve, to relieve stress.

The sky today is gloomy, it hasn’t changed at all in the last week.

He frowns: he hates this kind of weather.

He feels his phone buzzing and he panics reading the words on the screen.

-Busy tonight?-

-I will be studying…maybe-

-Night studying? Nerd-

Jimin chuckles. He never studies at night, he is not used to it. It may be a matter of habit, but he knows that every single time he tries to study after dinner, either he falls asleep on the books or he gets lost in his phone.

-Well, I have no better plans so I guess I will employ my time productively- 

-Let’s go out for a drink, then-

He doesn’t need to have to choose between studying and hanging out with Jungkook. He perfectly knows what he should do, and what he wants to do. But he doesn’t want to feel guilty afterwards.

He decides to ask for help.

He loves how they always say exactly what he wants to hear.

So that’s how Jimin decides to go out with Jungkook again.

But they are meeting as friends, nothing more. Because Jungkook seems to be in a stable and serious relationship. And because Jimin is not sure his heart is ready for something more than friendship.

When the waiter comes Jimin orders a Cosmopolitan, Jungkook a Vodka Martini. The latter is looking away, trying to conceal a smile, and again the older is surprised for the other to remember the most futile details, such as Vodka Martini being his favorite cocktail.
