-Hey are you at tonight’s event, too?-

He blinks. 

Long time no see.

-Yes I am-

Lie. He has just left. He gives a peek to his friends, grouping on the sidewalk. Hoseok kneeling, Seokjin to hold his forehead, because none of them want him to vomit on his own shoes.

-Wanna meet?-

-Where are you rn?-

He is not going to answer, not to let him know he is going back especially to see him.

-Wait for me in front of the entrance- 

“Guys I’m leaving for a short while. Can you handle it without me?”

Yoongi looks back at him. He knew his behavior is totally suspicious. 

“Yeah, what are you up to, Jimin?”

“Gonna meet an old friend. Wait for me, and in case the taxi arrives, just text me and I will head back.” 

The other nods, still not convinced.

“Chill, I will explain later. Going” He waves his hand in the air.

He never thought he would end up seeing his face again. Sometimes life is unpredictable. 

He walks in the silent night, crossing the park. The air is filled with loud club music coming from the place is heading to.

He arrived at eight. They drank, a lot. Hoseok apparently drank too much, and at midnight they decided to bring him back. Actually to drag him back, since he could not  even stand anymore. Pathetic. He loves him, but not being able to control himself, he finds it kinda ridiculous. Why would someone drink just to feel sick?

He looks around, and he notices him among the crowd: his signature black leather jacket, over a white t-shirt, ripped dark jeans, and low sneakers. Two years have passed, and he still looks the same. His hair is shorter, though. Too bad, because he loved his long chocolate bangs. 

The other boy sees him. He averts his gaze. He smiles looking away. 

He hasn’t change one bit.

No touching, no eye contact. That had always been the policy when they were together. But Jimin liked teasing him, making him feel uneasy, staring at him to tease. 

But, hey, how can someone not desperately want to admire something so beautiful?

It’s the past. These are all memories. He internally chuckes.
