"Say your graces." Chief Chae said closing his eyes. Hyungwon, Heewon and Mrs Chae all closed their eyes, joined their hands and silently said their graces.

  "Amen." Chief Chae opened his eyes as the whole family did. Mrs Chae handed out the food to everyone. Chief Chae opened a small plastic bag and took out some meat wrapped in paper.   "Oi, here's for my Heewon. Meat is expensive and he's my worthy son. He's the one who will be able to buy meat for me when I'm too old to do anything." Chief Chae smiled, patting Heewon's head. Hyungwon bowed his head down. Although he knew he wasn't his father's favorite, such harsh words...   "Hyungwon ah, have some-"   "None." Chief Chae cut her in, snatching the meat plate away from her. Mrs Chae just stood there, motionless. She didn't even have a word against him... Chief Chae filled Heewon's plate and his own with meat then threw it on the other side of the table.   "Heewon ah... give some meat to mom." Hyungwon faintly said.   "You bastard !" Chief Chae slammed his fist on the table, making everyone startled.    "Omo !" Mrs Chae covered Heewon's ears.   "I decide who eats what ! Okay ?! Get lost ! Go ! You don't even deserve to eat dinner !" Chief Chae stood up, getting worked up. Hyungwon calmly stood up, bowed and went to his room. It wasn't the first time he was sleeping with an empty stomach... Hyungwon laid on his mattress with a sigh. A tear rolled down his cheek.   "Aiish, what are you crying for... You fool, you're used to this." He told himself, wiping the tear. Hyungwon took out the old family picture he always hides under his pillow. He was so small back then... Heewon wasn't even born yet. Hyungwon ran his finger on his dear mom's face. This smile... this beautiful smile that hides so much pain underneath...   "One day... one day... I swear I'll make you pay for every single time your hand, belt or shoe hit me... I'll make you pay for everything you're doing to my mom... whether I'm dead or alive, I'll avenge us, I swear on my life." Hyungwon looked at the face of the man he hated before putting it back under his pillow. And he took this oath without knowing that at the same precise moment, a small Heewon had his ear glued against the door.   ---------------------------------   Shownu was sitting on a chair next to his dad. He had the white mask in his hands. He kept looking at it for a long while. He sighed and looked at his father... His condition was getting worse... He was even skinnier and paler... He lost all his hair. Shownu had to make him wear a beanie in case he'd be cold. Ultimately, he decided it wasn't time to think anymore. He had no choice. He grabbed his bag and went out of the hospital room. He ran to Jooheon's house at full speed. Once there, he knocked at the door. Jooheon welcomed him with a big smile.   "Let's do it." Shownu said showng him the white mask. Jooheon smirked.    "Let's go !" Jooheon excitedly closed the door behind him. Jooheon led Shownu to a small corridor separating the town office and the hospital.   "Wait for me here." Jooheon said. Shownu nodded. Jooheon left, running. At this time, thousand of thoughts cross
