"Nayoung! Nayoung!" Jieqiong kept calling while trying to catch up with the girl's pace but the latter wouldn't even stop and she's honestly getting really tired right now."Nayoung-ah!" She tried calling again for the last time as she halted her steps and took a deep breath. A small smile forming on her lips when she saw the girl finally stop from walking.

She carefully approached the girl and held her wrist, turning her around."Do we have a problem?"

"What do you think?"

"Seriously?" Jieqiong breathed in disbelief."Do we really have to fight over some notes? You can have Sejeong's notebook then." she was about to rummage her bag for that freaking notes that started all of this mess when she was harshly stopped by Nayoung.

Nayoung gritted her teeth. How she wished this was just all about a notebook. That she was just acting like this because she didn't manage to borrow notes. But no. And she hates the fact that Jieqiong couldn't understand her.

"Stop." Nayoung tried to say calmly."Do you really think I will be like this over such simple things? Do you really think of me that way?"

"Then what? Atleast let me know."

"Forget it. You still won't understand anyway."

"Nayoung!"

"What do you even want to hear, Jieqiong?"

"I want to know what's wrong with you!"

"I am completely al--"

"Jieqiong unnie!"

Nayoung stopped her words and looked at the group of girls happily skipping towards their direction. She just watched them hover over Jieqiong, asking her for a picture, sign and message simultaneously as if her friend could do all of that at the same time. Jieqiong, on the other hand, was very accompanying as always. She was just naturally nice to everyone that Nayoung finds it hard to put malice in every good thing that Jieqiong shows her.

One of the girls even talked about how she enrolled in this school just because of Jieqiong. Nayoung finds the girl overly obsess but Jieqiong, her overly innocent friend, even praised the girl, giving the poor girl more reason to go crazy over her.

"--right. I am completely alright." Nayoung quietly completed her sentence while looking at her completely occupied friend.

Nayoung usually looks like she doesn't care about anything but honestly, she cares about everything. Everything about Jieqiong, that is. She tried fighting her feelings for her friend at first because it was not just right and she thinks that she also doesn't even stand a chance to her. But the more she spends time with Jieqiong, the more she finds herself falling in love to her.

And it hurts her. It hurts her to see how she looks so low compared to Jieqiong's hundreds of admirers.

There were a lot of talks going around how she was so lucky to be with Jieqiong everyday. They kept on asking just who she is. And yes! Who really is she? She doesn't deserve Jieqiong. Hell! She doesn't even have the rights to have feelings for her.

"Nayoung."

Nayoung blinked her eyes. She looked around and realized that the girls have already left. A sigh escape from as she looked at Jieqiong."I'm going home." she just weakly said and was about to go when Jieqiong held her arm.

She looked at the hand on her arm and smiled. She doesn't even deserve to be touch by Jieqiong like this.

"Let's not go home like this, Nayoung."

"I am tired."

"Please..." Jieqiong has never felt so desperate like this before. She doesn't really want to go home knowing that she and Nayoung are not in good terms. It won't make her sleep."Let's just talk."

Nayoung bit her lips. Here it goes."Do you want to know what my problem is?"

"Of course."

"My problem is that.... we're always together, Jieqiong." Nayoung started which made Jieqiong's eyebrow raised."When we walk in the classroom in the morning until we go home in the evening, we never separate. I couldn't even talk to our other classmates because we're always together. It's so tiring." she just watched as Jieqiong's hand slowly fell from her arm.

"You are...." Jieqiong carefully started, tears already threatening to fall from her eyes. She doesn't even want to ask this question but she has to. Because maybe, just maybe, Nayoung would give her a completely different answer from what she was expecting."....already tired of being with me?"

When Nayoung nodded, tears have already started pouring from her eyes. She wanted to wipe it because she certainly doesn't want to look so pitiful in front of the girl who just abandoned her. She actually wants to slap Nayoung right now, but does she even have the right to do that?

"I want to be alone."

Jieqiong bit her trembling lips, wipe her tears and flashed a smile."Sure. I'm sorry for occupying almost all of your time. You can be friends with whoever you want now. I won't bother you anymore." she paused, looking at the girl who was just staring at the ground. She used that opportunity to wipe the new set of tears that poured out from her eyes."I'm sorry again." she said for the last time before walking away.

Nayoung looked up to watch Jieqiong's fading figure. She was surprised to found her face wet. She suddenly wants to applaud herself for being able to control her tears in front of Jieqiong. She was worried for her friend because she knows that she went overboard with her choice of words but she's also aware that she should be worrying for herself more. Jieqiong, in just a few days, will already be fine. While her, she doesn't even think a year would be enough for her to get over.

Yoojung was surprised to see Jieqiong running across the hallway while crying. It was surprising because of two reasons. First, she wasn't with Nayoung and second, the usually cheery girl is crying.

"Did you see that?" she asked as she tilted her head to look at Doyeon only to see her occupied with her phone again.

"What?"

Yoojung rolled her eyes at her friend who doesn't even bother looking at her but answer her nevertheless."Jieqiong is crying."

"What? Why? Where?" Doyeon asked with her eyes wide open, finally tearing her gaze from her phone to search for the said crying girl.

"She was running across the hallway."

"Where's Nayoung?"

"I don't know. She's alone."

"Maybe Nayoung fought with her."

Yoojung shot her a look of disbelief."Do you think Nayoung will fight her? Nayoung doesn't even know how to get mad."

Doyeon thought about it for awhile before nodding her head in agreement. She was about to respond when she felt her phone vibrated. She quickly looked at the screen of her phone and smiled, seeing that it was new 'love interest'.

Yoojung sighed. She knows she wouldn't be able to talk to Doyeon again. She might as well just go home.

"I'm going home, Doyeon." she informed her friend who only nodded at her.

These days, Yoojung doesn't even know if Doyeon still needs her. Doyeon has changed so much. It is quite funny, yes, but her friend has really changed so much after discovering an application called Soulmate where they will search for someone who has the same interests as you and gets to chat with each other.

Yoojung has actually tried creating a lot of accounts just so she could rate the application as poor and wrote a lot of bad reviews. Childish but she thought that it was the only way to bring her bestfriend back.

She looked at her bestfriend for the last time before deciding to leave. She was about to make her first step when she felt a hand on her wrist. She turned back, shooting Doyeon a questioning look.

"Will you go with me tomorrow?"

"What? Where?"

"At IOI coffee shop. 3pm."

Yoojung couldn't help but raised an eyebrow. She already knew where this talk will go. Doyeon is going to meet her new called soulmate again. She's already used to this. How many times did her friend actually fail on meeting her soulmates? The first one was a fat guy. The second one was a e. The third one was a special child. And the latest guy that they've just met last week was a complete maniac.

Oh my God! Thinking about their last encounter again, Yoojung couldn't help but cringe. Aside from the fact that the guy was already 3 years older than Doyeon, he's also a total maniac.

He kept holding Doyeon's hand that Yoojung was left with no other option but to stand up from the back part of the coffee shop where she was hiding and completely dragged her friend away from that ert.

She thought that would be the last one for Doyeon since she noticed her friend stopped using her phone for a day. She was about to celebrate when she realized that her friend had just took a break from that freaking application.

"3pm? We have a class at that time."

"What's new? We're going to cut class as always."

As always. Yoojung wants to laugh at that. She, or maybe they, weren't the type who usually cut class. But because Doyeon's soulmates always request for an afternoon meet-ups, they were left with no choice but to cut class. Yes, and she always tags along with their meet-ups because she's afraid that her friend might be meeting up with some dangerous guy.

But not this time. She's already done with all of her friend's .

"No."

Doyeon frowned."What no?"

"I am not coming with you. You can go and cut class by yourself. I'm going home." Yoojung firmly said before turning her back at Doyeon but the latter once again held her wrist.

"Please...." Doyeon was determined. She really feels like this is already the perfect one. When Yoojung brushed off her hand, she continued,"This is the last time."

"Last time?"

"Yes. If I fail again this time, I swear I'll delete that application."

Yoojung tried keeping her smile as she nodded her head in agreement. Tomorrow's meeting has just to fail and her problem will already be solved.
