Chapter Ten

Weeks had passed since that terrible feeling and that dream he had. Even though Zico wasn't as freaked out as before, he was still feeling uneasy. Something like that just don't go away. Something terrible was coming and coming soon. Taeil's parents had returned but left not soon after to go on a trip for their anniversary. Zico and Taeil took turns making breakfast before going to school. Some days they had to get breakfast on the way to school because they would over sleep from talking, singing acapella or watching movies all night. They been on a couple of dates now. Sometimes he'd get ready early, sneak out the back door and ring the door bell, acting like he just pulled up to pick him up for their date. Taeil loved what he was doing and played along at times. They had fun being all alone in the house. Today, Zico was alone in the house. They both had the day off from work but Taeil was called in by Mama Rose... on a Saturday. He had the whole day planned out. They were going to play at the amusement park all day and he was even going to make a romantic dinner for them. He had the menu ready and everything. He was going to set everything up in the back yard and call it, "The Moonlight Dinner" ... The name was a working process still. Laying down in every position that you could do on a couch, he got up. He was bored. He put on his shoes and decided to go into town. He wanted to look for something for Taeil. He know he don't have to but he wanted to surprise him. It won't be anything expensive, seeing how he don't have much money. He went in different stores looking for the perfect gift. Then his eyes came upon something that he knew he would love. It was a statue of three tropical fish. The one in front of the other two looks like he was guiding them. He checked the price on it. Yikes... He don't have that much cash on him. Then a light bulb went off in his head. He knows what to do. He never tried it before but he saw his mom do it before when he was younger. They were living out on the streets with no food when their family died. Even though she felt bad for doing what she did, she said her child comes first and told him to never do what she did for anything. Not that he always goes behind her back or anything but he couldn't pass this up. It was only one left of those tropical fish statues and he intends to do what ever it takes to get it. Taking a deep breath he walked towards the cash register. "That'll be thirty dollars." The lady told him. She looked sweet but Zico put on a sad face. "I'm sorry ma'am but I don't have that. Is there anyway you can bring the price down?" The lady just stared at him. "Thirty dollars or go buy something else." She said again but more annoyance in her voice. He was hoping she would be nice enough to drop it. He didn't want to do what he was about to do. He looked around before grabbing her shoulders. Staring deeply into her eyes he began to speak nice and slowly. "You will drop the price down to ten dollars or you'll lose all your customers and be forced to close shop." begun to move as soon as he got done talking. "That'll be ten dollars sir." She said smiling at him. Smiling at her he handed her the ten dollars. "Have a nice day!" He nodded at her and walked away. He did it! Mind compulsion. A trick every vampire should know how to do. He'll go back and pay the rest when he gets the money. Smiling gleefully, he rubbed the bag. "Let's get you home and wrap you up for my beloved. You'll like him but don't like him too much because he's mine!" He told the fishes as he started to walk towards his car. While walking, he heard another set of foot steps. He stopped walking. When he stopped, they stopped. Walking a bit faster, they sped up also. Zico whirled around but no one was there. Zico flew to his car, jumped in and slammed on the gas. He did not stop till he got to the house. He jumped out and ran into the house. He ran around the house locking doors and windows. He peaked out the window waiting for someone to walk up. He didn't like that one bit but he went up to his room. Pulling out a card he begun to write. To my beloved, here is a present for you. It's not much but I hope you will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed picking this out for you. Just don't show it so much attention and forget about me. ;) I can't believe how lucky I am to have you by my side. You're one in a million. I'll hold you close till we're flying so high. It is no longer just your story. It's our story. I ask of only one thing from you. Always give me your smile. I'm broken without you by my side. You are everything I see. I don't feel right without you. I never had the words say but now I'm asking you to stay. As you close your eyes, I hope you can see what I feel. I hope you feel the same way. Xoxo. P.s. I...He was hoping to wrap this up before Taeil got home but he heard the downstairs door open. "Zico? I'm home!" He called out. He hurried to his room and looked for a good place to place it. Not such an obvious place but a place he could see easily. Finding the perfect place he ran down stairs. "Welcome back!" Zico jumped into his arms. Giggling, Taeil took off his jacket. "Wer
