HYUNGSIK POV:

Today was a very tiring day for me. I had two magazine photoshoots then rushed to do an interview for an international channel.

I am just glad that my schedule ended earlier than expected. I ran to my car, too occupied with the thought of having extra time with Ryeowook today. I actually planned on bringing him to the newly opened cafe near my company's building.

When I stopped on a red light, I decided to call Ryeowook but to no avail, he isn't answering my call.

Is he still asleep? But it's 3 in the afternoon. It is so not like Ryeowook. He doesn't sleep at this time of the day.

I shrugged and just rushed back to our shared apartment. --- I opened the door and was welcomed by silence.

"Babe?? I'm home~~" I called out, but no one answered.

I looked for him at our room. None.

I went to check if he's in the bathroom. Still, none.

I checked the kitchen. But there's no Ryeowook.

Instead, I saw a pink sticky note on the fridge.

It says:

"Hi babe, I'll be coming home late tonight.

I have to ran some errands for mom so I went back to Incheon.

Don't worry, it is nothing serious. By the way, I bought a slice of carrot cake.

And nope, I won't buy you chocolate or mocha cakes.
