When I heard the front door shut closed and saw that Jeonghan have returned from walking Seungcheol to the station I felt myself smiled a little. Finally, I no longer needed to watch them both flirting inside the apartment. I finally had Jeonghan all to myself.

I nonchalantly asked my best friend if it was freezing outside and I got a shrug and a small ‘yes’. I watched him as he took off his jacket and hurriedly went and sat himself in front of the heater. As I was studying his face I noticed that he looked like as if he was worried about something from the way he sneaked glances at me.

“What’s wrong?” I put down the music sheet on the table, leaned my head against the back of the sofa, and closed my eyes for a second.

He did not answer. I sighed and straightened my back which caused me to feel dizzy. “Jeonghan?” My voice made it sound like I was talking to a little child.

“Nothing,” He started. “What is wrong with you?” He put an emphasis on the ‘with you’.

I furrowed my eyebrows at him. “Nothing. Why do you ask?”

When he did not answer nor even looked at my direction I continued, “Whatever it is you’re thinking or making you worry, and if it is about me, then stop. No need to worry about me cus there is nothing wrong with me, okay?”

I got up from the sofa and grabbed the blanket that I always used whenever I felt like sleeping on the living room and gently covered the shivering shoulders of my best friend. “You’ll get cold even if you are in front of the heater, so make sure you have something covering you,” I whispered near his ears. From the corner of my eyes I saw him blushed a bit.

“Are you really okay?” He mumbled.

“Hmm?”

He withdrew his attention from the heater and turned it towards me who was about to go the kitchen to get him some hot milk. When he reached out for my hand I felt myself gulped from the contact.

“Joshua…” He looked worried. And even though he just spent half of the day being happy in Seungcheol’s arm here he was looking sad in front of me. “Is it something you can’t tell me?”

It is. I chuckled and knelt down so that we could be face to face. “I’m not worried about anything, okay? Maybe it’s just the weather making it look like I was gloomy or something.”

But that did not convince him and he leaned closer. So much closer that it became too hard for me to breathe. He was staring directly into my eyes, just a few inches and our lips would be touching. “You’re lying.
