DAY 275
Its already passed the third month since our wedding. The First Night Ceremony which was initially arranged by my Majesty Mother had been cancelled. I succeeded convincing Father that such ceremony didn’t suit this era any longer. The argumentation against Mother was so intense that I sweat under my shirt.
You might never know it was the first time for me to stand up against my mother, and I did it for you. It’s fine. What matter to me was that you wouldn’t come to me in desperate plea like you did that night. Also, it’s enough to receive your gratitude and your sincere smile however small.

There was a small lake in the forest behind the palace. I had had a cottage built near the lake. I went to that place whenever I needed time alone. No one but Keito and my trusted guards knew about it, and now you’re added to the list.
You said you had been missing doing horse riding, so I let you play with the mare I presented to you. While watching you galloping around the lake, I took out the lunch prepared by Keito for us. Surprisingly, it reminded me about our friendship back then. The atmosphere around us was lighter and enjoyable. Bringing you into my private place turned out worth it.
We planned to had a canoe competition the two of us after lunch, yet the fun should be suspended by the rain pouring down. We were waiting in the cottage, igniting t
