Later that night, Kyungsoo is at home, playing a game on his phone when he hears his phone give a text notification. Fortunately, his game can pause, so he pauses it and checks his new text.

Minseokie: Hey is this who you saw at your store btw?

Kyungsoo's eyes widen as he sees the same cute guy he saw come into his workplace today.

He quickly texts Minseok back, What the hell that's exactly him!!

Minseokie: Really? Then you definitely saw Jongin yesterday xD.

How do you have his picture?? This is like some stalker O_O

Minseokie: Hey, I didn't take this pic! I got it from Luhan. Who got it from his friend, Sehun.

Sehun...? Tall- guy who looks done with everything?

Minseokie: O.o? Yeah, you know him?

We take the same math class. o-o

Minseokie: Oh. Well yea, Luhan wanted you to know he was being serious and all, so he asked Sehun for a pic of Jongin,

since those two are best friends.

Oh.

Minseokie: Are you hyperventilating?

Kyungsoo sets his phone down on his computer desk as he thinks about his current situation. If Luhan wasn't joking--then that means that Jongin thinks I'm cute, he thinks.

He picks up his phone and dials Minseok right away.

The two end up conversing throughout the night, with Kyungsoo making garble noises and squeaks every so often. They eventually wish each other a good night and hang up their phones. After going back to his game and playing on it some more, Kyungsoo eventually gets ready to sleep. He promises himself that the next time he sees Jongin, he'll be as cool and confident as possible.

The next day, Kyungsoo's back at work at EXO Plushies, sitting at his cashier's desk, bored out of his mind. No customers have come in at all today, so it's just been him and his manager (who's probably texting on their phone in the backroom). Kyungsoo's been hoping to see Jongin for pretty much his whole shift--but no such luck. He frowns as he checks his phone and looks at the time. Just a half hour and then his shift is over.

With a sigh, he texts Minseok and sends around five sad puppy pictures. The more pictures equals more angst, in his mind.

Just when Minseok texts him back though, he looks up, glancing once again at the store's entrance and freezes when he notices Jongin right there. Jongin seems nervous about something, taking a deep breath for some reason.

Maybe because of me?, Kyungsoo thinks before mentally dismissing the thought.

When Jongin seems like he's about to come into the store, Kyungsoo quickly looks back down at his phone and rapidly texts Minseok back.
