nayeon wakes up to the blinding sunlight peeking through her windows. a smile curves on her lips as she breathes in the morning air. she pulls the curtains; instantly, the dark room is filled with rays of light.
the weather is beautiful - not a single cloud is to be seen in the pastel blue sky. she can swear that she even hears a bird singing the song of spring in the distance. a comfortable tranquility surrounds her in the dewy atmosphere.
honestly, she can't think of spending such a marvelous day alone. without hesitation, the girl picks up her phone and scrolls through her contacts, tapping on the name kim jiwon.
the phone launches a call automatically. after about ten seconds of waiting, he picks up.
"hey," his voice is groggy, and it's obvious that he's just woken up. but nayeon can't help thinking that his sleepy voice is really, really cute.
"hey, sleepyhead." she teases.
he groans. "hardly. i slept at three last night."
mild guilt strikes her. "oh god, i'm sorry. go back to sleep."
"too late. i'm already awake," he responds, snorting. "besides, i'd choose talking to you over sleeping any day."
nayeon feels a silly grin form on her face at his words. "you're an idiot."
"yours truly. why'd you call, though?"
"oh, right!" she exclaims, remembering her original intention. "listen, i know it's only seven, but open the window. i swear, you won’t regret it."
"alright, alright." she hears a shuffling of feet through the speakers, and the sound of a window being pushed open.
"well?" she asks. "what do you think?"
"it's cold."
the girl rolls her eyes. "seriously?"
"i'm kidding. what i am thinking is: we really need to go on a date today."
nayeon feels a silly grin form on her face at his words. "you're an idiot."
"alright, alright." she hears a shuffling of feet through the speakers, and the sound of a window being pushed open.

also my first bobby x nayeon writing! they're so aesthetically pleasing man and oldest!ship has always been my weakest point (though maknae!ship is the most fatal)
