HIDE AND SEEK

"Hi mom." I greet, smiling at her. I sit at the chair near the bed and hand her a basket of fruits. "Daehyun can't  come and he told me to give this to you." I said.

She smile and put it aside at the table beside her. She have been hospitalized for one week already. Time sure fly so fast. In three more weeks, I will not see her anymore. It's sound terrible right?

"Are you crying?"

I snickered and wiped the tears on my eyes. "Mom, I will miss you." I muttered, reaching for her hand. She's so cold and I wonder if her blood is flowing right now. It's scared me that I'm going crazy. "Mom,Thank you for everything that you did for me and thank you for being my mother." I grin trying to sound normal but my voice keep on cracking.

She run her fingers on my hair, smiling at me. "You have grown up really well." She uttered pulling me into her embrace and that only make me cry harder. "Don't miss me too much. You should be living independently now." She whispered.

"You need to put yourself first before other, eat well, live well, take care of your health." She pulled the hug and stare at my eyes. "And the most thing that I want, please get married already. You're old enough now."

I look at her disbelief. "Mom, I'm not that old." I'm just 25 years old. Does it sound old? No right. My mom are the only one who think like that. "There's no one caught my attention now, mom. But I will grant your wish when I have someone."

She smiled nodding her head. "You better grant my wish. If not I'm going to hunt you until you get married."

Whoa. "Mom, You're scary." I laugh shaking my head.

I lie down on the couch, staring at the high ceiling. I recalled back the time where I always spend my time with my mom. We always do the house chores together. From washing the dishes, washing the clothes, folding the clothes, cleaning the house and many more. "I feel empty." I muttered, closing my eyes briefly.

"I finished it already."

I sit up straight and look at him walking down the stairs. "Oh did I wake you up?" He asked.
