Forbidden because of distance (emotional and physical)
ForbiddenFan service was a part of being an idol. So they had to make anything that their fans could love. That's how they ended being paired with one member. It wasn't like the couples were stablished and they weren't able to change it. But Markson —the name their fans gave to them— was getting more and more popular. Everyone who had interest in them could find fancams, pictures or even fansites only dedicated to them. Maybe at this point, the two should have noticed the way things were taking, but none had the courage to face the truth and say it out loud.
Both, Mark and Jackson, were invited to After School Club as MC and, next, they had a little segment under the name of “Markson show”. The viewers could say they were acting to be funny. Members, that they were friends and could do whatever the fans, some producer or writer in programs ask them.
None has asked to the guys how they felt acting all touchy with one another, probably because they seemed to act naturally, as if they were brothers that show love to one another in every single way you could imagine.
Maybe Mark and Jackson were comfortable with this type of relationship, being friendly but no so much. At least, before the Chinese enter to Roommate. That show made the older think about what he expected from Jackson.
—Do you really have to do this? —Mark asked again.
—Yeah. What’s the problem, hyung?
—I was- I was worried about you. That’s all.
And Jackson felt his heart raising his rhythm. He knew Mark never had something to say, even to him who was his best friend. Maybe the older was showing his feelings unintentionally, but the blonde wasn't ready to that yet, so he hid them behind a fake smile.
—Don’t worry about me. You know I’ll come sometimes and we could meet when we have an appointment. It’s not so hard, right? You'll call me and I'll call you too, so keep calm.
Mark hummed in response, knowing it wouldn’t be easy, at least not to him.
—Hey, hyung. Are you ok?
The group was watching another chapter of Roommate in the living room. Mark tried to keep it cool, but his expression wasn’t helping at all.
—Yeah, JinYoungie —he answered without giving him a glance.
—Woah. GookJu-noona and Jackson are a really good couple —and the older made a thin line with his lips, nodding 'cause he had lost his words—. But I don’t think hyung fit with YoungJi.
—No.
Junior pressed his lips tightly, trying not to laugh at the obvious jealousy Mark was feeling.
—I want to invite them to our dorm sometime. What do you think, JB-hyung?
—About what? —The leader looked at the mom dumbfounded.
—About inviting YoungJi and GookJu-noona to our dorm.
—That’s a good idea! They’re pretty awesome! GookJu-noona make me laugh all the time.
JinYoung knew that would be the reaction the members would have.
—And they take care of Jackson. It could be a way to say thanks.
—I like YoungJi-noona —BamBam said with his cheeks reddened.
—Me too.
—Me too!
The mom smirked to himself —happiness an understatement for what he felt about the maknae reaction—, as he leaned to Mark.
—Mark-hyung. Do you like my idea?
And the named knew exactly what Junior was trying to do. But he wasn't in the mood to cooperate.
— you, Junior.
Mark was so mad at his friend he didn’t bother to left th
