"what the hell hanbin! you almost scared me half to death!" I almost fell out of my seat when Hanbin approached me from behind and poked my shoulder 

He laughed at my reaction while grabbing a seat and sitting next to me, "can you stop ignoring my messages?" 

I eyes went to my phone, as i realized the screen was unlocked and he could see that i actually received his messages.... so lying wont help in this case 

"ive been busy" i turned my phone the other way so the screen faced the table 

"you busy, or are you just scared im right?" his words taunted me as he leaned his chair back, now only letting the back two feet touch the ground. 

I turned toward him, watching his eyebrows raise as i focused on him.... his whole 'cool guy' act was getting old. Today he was wearing a black snapback, with some sweatpants that tightened around the ankles and a hoodie that gave him the whole "laid-back boyfriend" look as well. 

why am i focusing on him 

"isnt your uni having some carnival thing today? let's just go there?" he calmly said as he balanced his chair 

i chuckled, "carnival? is that really your thing?" Just imagining him in such an environment made me laugh 

"idc where we go, i just want to prove you wrong" 

"ill pass" I closed my books as i got up. I then opened my bag to put my books in them which is when Hanbin seemed to get a bit more serious. He placed his hand on my textbook so i was unable to take it from him. 

I sighed, knowing well enough that nothing i said would change his mind about this whole game he was playing. He'd been messaging me since the day we all met at the cafe, i knew there was only one way out of this mess and that was to play his game. 

"ill meet you at the carnival at 5" 

Hanbin's face lit once he heard my answer, "yes ma'am" 

I took my books from him and walked away

Little did hanbin know that two can play at this game. I decided to do something that would totally ruin his plans in trying to prove anything to me. 

I walked around the carnival for a few minutes as i waited for hanbin to text me where he was. After about 8 minutes pass 5, i finally got a text. 

"im by the cotton candy machine" 

Perfect! 

"alright guys! let's go to where Hanbin is!" I couldnt wait to see the look on his face once he realized i had invited Jimin and Hiyori along with us. 

"hanbin!" i yelled out his name to catch his attention. His smirk turned upside down once he saw Jimin and Hiyori. I couldnt be happier with his reaction. 

We all walked up to one another and said our Hellos. 

Hanbin gave me cuteye as we started to walk around, "what??" i pretended to be as clueless as ever 

His reaction was so priceless, i just had to laugh. 

He then let out a loud sigh, "i guess we're gunna play like this uh?" Out of the blue, he slipped his hand in mine and intertwined his fingers. 

"ya!! what are you doing??" i tried to pull my hand away from him but each tug lead to him holding it tighter 

Jimin and Hiyori looked over to us and both their expressions were so different. Hiyori was like a proud mother (or a fangirl) totally shipping us, whereas Jimin had a concern look on his face, almost as if the whole contact made him uneasy. 

"guys relaaax! Hanbin's just playing around!" i reassured them as i laughed awkwardly, looking up at Hanbin's devilish smile 

"yea guys Minji's right, i'm just playing around" he was mocking me, and i hated it. 

We walked around with our hands linked for the first hour until i finally begged him enough to have him let me go. 

"gosh finally! i thought i was gunna lose my hand to you!" i whined as i rubbed my sore palm 

"so what rides should we go on guys?" asked Hiyori as Jimin pulled out the map and started to look around 

"we can go on this one" he pointed at a 4 seater ride that lifted us off the ground and bolted us to the sky. Only to have us drop back to the ground after a few minutes. My adrenaline was rushing just at the sight of the epic ride. 

"let's do it!" i said excitedly as i grabbed Hiyori's arm and ran to the ride. 

"ill pass on this one" Hanbin said as we all started to sit into the ride 

He kept looking up to how high the ride really was and i think his nerves got the best of him. He looked like a little kid afraid of a big dog, it was almsot kind of adorable. 

"why Hanbin? too chicken??" i joked as i sat next to Jimin

Hiyori and Jimin started to laugh as i mocked Hanbin, who didnt seem to be enjoying being on the other side of a joke. "relax, im not scared of anything" 

My persuation worked and he got up into his seat. Sitting next to Hiyori and accross from me. 

"im sooo scaredd!!!" i screamed as i held on to Jimins arm. Hiyori let her arms fly up as she screamed, preparing herself for the ride. Hanbin was frozen, just holding on to his seat belt and looking around him to make sure nothing was undone. Jimin on the other hand was just excited to get the ride over with.
