I knew where he'd be. 
It was almost as if he wanted only me to know of his whereabouts. 

It was cold and dark outside now, and from what i recall at uni, Hanbin wasnt dressed for the weather. 

I looked around the pond to spot him, i knew he'd be here.
He'd told me before that he found this place calming, just like i did. 
It only made sense to come here if he wanted to cool off. 

All i had to do now was spot him.

Hanbin was slouching on the edge of the pond, his jeans rolled up as his legs dangled in the ice cold water. He looked miserable. 
He looked like a statue, frozen in time. His face was full of bruises and cuts and his body practically was begging for aid. 

It pained me to see him like this. 

"hanbin" i called out his name but he didnt flinch. His eyes still focused on the flowing water. 

I walked up closer, enough that it would be impossible not to hear me now.

He jumped at the sound of my voice and looked around until his eyes met mine. 
Now that i'd seen his face clearly, my heart only sunk further.
