Mingyu & Wonwoo

          Mingyu stared at his creation. He smiled brightly when he saw that he cooked the beef perfectly. His fries was also cooked to perfection. He then arranged his special burger so that it would not spill. The burger is composed of a bun at the bottom, a slab of beef, some lettuce, cheese, tomato, then beef again, cheese, tomato, then beef again, his special sauce, lettuce, then the bun on top. After finishing the burger, he arranged it on the plate together with the fries. He then made a smaller version of the burger with extra cheese and fries. After looking at his masterpiece, he went upstairs with it.

          “Wonwoo-ah, wake up,” Mingyu gently shook his boyfriend shoulder.

          “Just five more minutes,” Wonwoo murmured.

          Mingyu smiled at the elder’s cute face and husky voice and was almost persuaded to let him sleep for five more minutes. But he has a plan that cannot wait anymore so he steeled his resolve and continued to wake the older.

          “Wonwoo-ah, wake up. It’s almost Christmas Eve, and I brought a burger,” Mingyu said.

          At the mention of burger, Wonwoo immediately sat up, making his head collide with his boyfriend.

          “Ow,” they both said while rubbing their heads. They then looked at each other and laughed at each other’s reddening forehead.

          “Hahaha, you-with that red head-ah, I can’t stop laughing, ha-ha,”  Wonwoo finally let out after gaining some breath.

          “Look who’s talking, Mister. You have a very red forehead too,” Mingyu childishly said.

          Wonwoo accidentally slapped his forehead harder than necessary because he was trying to hide the red part, but only made it redder. He blushed at his blunder, making not only his forehead red, but all of his face.

          Mingyu can’t stop the smile that was forming in his face at the adorableness of the older. Wonwoo’s awkwardness always endears the older to the younger, and his antics never gets old.

          “Enough smiling! You said you brought me a burger?” Wonwoo said.

          “Oh, so you love the burger more than you love me, huh?” Mingyu asked. Although he knew the answer to this question already, since it’s a running joke on their group, he never gets tired of hearing the elder’s answer.

          “Of course! Burger is life you know,” Wonwoo childishly said.

          “Okay, I’ll give you the burger, if you give me a kiss.”

          Wonwoo was stunned at what the younger said. Although they’ve been dating for a while, and even shared the bed on some occasions, but the fact still remains that they still haven’t kiss-ever. And it left him a bit flustered at the thought that he would be making the first move, instead of the outgoing Mingyu.

          “But-“ Wonwoo started to protest but the taller butted in.

          “No buts, Wonwoo. Besides, look up,” Mingyu stated and looked up.

          The older followed the younger’s instruction and looked up. Only to find a mistletoe was hanging above their heads. How the younger accomplished that, Wonwoo had no idea, but the thought that Mingyu planned all this was making him happy. So happy that he ignored the nervousness that he was feeling before and just put his hand on the younger’s shoulders, pulling him in and kissed his lips.

          Mingyu was shocked, to say the least, that Wonwoo actually kissed him. He was prepared to cajole the older more, and even prepared other things, but a kiss is a kiss-and this kiss is one that he waited for a long time, so he went along with it and kissed back.

          After a while, Wonwoo finally disengage himself from the younger. He was blushing so hard that Mingyu couldn’t help himself but sneak a quick kiss from the elder’s lips.

          “Wow, I didn’t expect that kind of kiss, but thank you!” Mingyu exclaimed.

          “Enough talking about the kiss, where is my burger?” Wonwoo shyly said.

          Mingyu laughed again at the awkward picture that Wonwoo made, with his bed hair, swollen lips, bright eyes, red cheeks, and sweater paws that is making him so adorable in his eyes. “Okay, fine, fine, a promise is a promise. Here’s your burger,” Mingyu said while giving the smaller version to the older.

          “Thank you, Mingyu-ah. And Merry Christmas,” Wonwoo whispered in Minyu’s ears, then putting a small kiss on the younger’s cheeks.
