Key POV

God why isn’t he awake yet? Everyone else already ate breakfast but that guy is still sleeping well I better go wake him up. I walked to Onew’s room and knocked on the door a few times but there was no answer. I guess it was because of the busy schedule he had the day before. It was good that he was resting a while because the times we got to sleep in or rest in general were rare. After a few more times of me knocking and no response I let myself in and stood next to Onew’s bed. Onew was sleeping very peacefully and no matter how corny it may seem but he really did resemble and angel. His hair was perfectly scattered across his face I couldn’t help but admire him and how gorgeous he was. He was the very definition of perfect in my mind. After a few minutes I came back to my senses and remembered that I had to wake Onew up so that he could eat. I sat at the edge of his bed and shook him a little.

“Hyung” I said in almost a whisper.

“Hyung you have to wake up.” I said a little bit louder than the first time. He began to shift a little and then I realized he was already awake and probably wanted to see if I would fall for that. I sighed.

“Come on hyung you have to get up so you can eat breakfast. I know that you aren’t sleeping so why not just get up” He instantly shot up and looked at me. I couldn’t help but jump back because of how close his face was to mine.

“You knew I was awake?” God this guy thinks I can’t see through his acts.

“Of course I did we’ve lived with each other for a long time how wouldn’t I know?” He rubbed the back of his neck and looked away it was… cute.

“Ha I guess you’re right.” It got silent a little too silent.

“ONEW TAKE COVER!”I jumped on Onew as if I was a secret agent trying to protect him from something.

“What exactly are you doing Key?”

“Aww you hyung I thought you would go along with it.” I pouted as I got off of him and fixed my hair back to the way it was originally. I also put the slipper that had fallen off back on.

“Well anyways the food is ready you should come eat.” I said as I walked out the door.

“Hey! Key, wait.” I turned around and immediately ran back into his room.

“Uh, yeah?”

“Umm what did you make? You know to eat?” Of course I couldn’t have expected him to say anything else.

“I made pancakes.” I noticed that I sounded a bit disappointed.

“What kind?” He said with a perked up smile.

“Blueberry” God I couldn’t take this small talk anymore.

“Well you should eat while they are still warm. I’m going to go… wash some dishes or something.” I walked to the kitchen and began to clean. Soon enough I could hear him creeping down the stairs. When Onew came down he sat down and immediately dug in.

“Hey, Key can we talk?” Jonghyun who had just entered the kitchen asked.  

“Yes Jonghyun let me finish washing the dishes and I’ll be right over” I said in a somewhat annoyed tone.

“Okay but hurry we really have to talk” I could hear him tapping his foot impatiently.

“Well if you want to talk that bad come over here and help me clean a little.” I turned to look at Jonghyun he had a sort of disgusted face

“Umm you know what Key, you can just take your time I can wait” Ha how did I know he would say that?

“Lazy” I mumbled as I turned my attention back to cleaning. About five minutes later I had finished cleaning. I walked over to Jonghyun’s room and flopped on his bed right next to him. He was a bit startled but then he relaxed a bit when he saw it was me.

“So what do you want to talk about?” he looked a bit hesitant. It was kind of weird because we were best friends and we would tell each other everything.

“Well you see…” He rubbed the back of his neck. Must be something serious. To be honest the only thing I could do was stay quiet until he told me.

“Key… I really, really, really like Minho … Well actually it’s more like I l-l-love him,”

“What? Really? Why? Since when?”

“Well it’s been a while but remember when we went to the soccer game as a gift for Minho?”

“Yeah”

“Well there were a couple of people that kept bothering me well because you know we’re in SHINee and then Minho came in and got me out of there after that well I just kept seeing all these amazing qualities that Minho has and so here we are.”

“Haha that’s cute. So all it took was you getting saved huh”

“Yeah sort of, but for me to fall for Minho was kind of unexpected. Yah know? I mean, I was pretty sure I was straight not bi.”

“That’s just how love works I guess, but you know, I never took you to be someone who needed to be saving”

“Really nor did I, but look at me now.”

“So was that what you needed to tell me? I don’t see how it was so urgent.” He gave me a grumpy face. He was such a child.

“Hmph it was urgent I needed to get it off my chest alright.” He said then threw his pillow at my face. I grabbed the pillow and simply put it on my lap as I laughed his action off.

“Ha alright if you say so, but if you really needed to get it off your chest why not just tell him?”

“Because… I’m not ready to tell him yet… Besides, I don’t think you’re one to talk. Now that we’re on the topic, how’s it been with the densest man on earth?”

“Same as always. Nothing I can do about it though.”

“tsh figures, but I am sorry about that”

“Nah its fine. It’s not your fault right?” It got a bit awkward so I grabbed the pillow that was on my lap and smacked Jonghyun in the face. As revenge of course.

“Stop feeling bad for me alright!” Jonghyun had a shocked expression.

“What was that for?!”

“It was revenge. Remember you threw it at me first” I stuck my tongue out at him.

“I’m going to get you back Key!!” Next thing I knew was he had gotten a pillow and started hitting me with it so I hit back. We had a mini pillow fight at least it wasn’t awkward anymore.

He straddled my waist and started hitting me in the face even more.

“Ahh stop”

“No Key you started it so now I’m going to finish it!”

“Nuh-huh you did”

“Hey Hyung have you seen K-” Taemin walked in and it looked as though his eyes were about to pop out. He seemed a bit confused on what to do.

“Umm never mind get back to what you were doing”

“I bet he got the wrong idea.” I laughed

“Key why are you laughing?! That’s not good what if he goes and tells the others?! We’ll never have a chance then!” Just then I thought about it pushed Jonghyun off and ran to try and stop Taemin.

“Hey Taemin!” Taemin turned around

“Y-yeah?”

“It’s not what you think alright. We were just having a pillow fight is all so please don’t get the wrong idea.”

“Sure~ hyung whatever you say” He smirked a bit and started to skip towards the living room where Minho and Onew were. I could tell Taemin was plotting something. That kid I swear if he tells them he’ll probably make the situation seem like something completely different.

“Hey hyungs guess what I just saw!” Onew and Minho both turned and looked like they could care less.

“What did you see Taeminnie?” Onew asked. I hated when he called Taemin that. Why did he deserve a nickname? I shook the thought from my head.

“I saw Key and Jonghyun playing with each other!”

“WHAT?!” Minho said as he jumped out of his seat and stared right at me I could feel his eyes burning holes into me. Onew just had a blank expression on his face. I didn’t know what to do just then Jonghyun came into the room.

“What are we talking about?” He said in a very happy tone.

“So did you have fun playing with Key?” Onew laughed a bit, and then Jonghyun looked at me with a puzzled expression.

“Umm Key what exactly is he talking about?”

“Well you see Taemin said that he saw us playing with each other”

“Hahahaha Minho hyung and Onew hyung what were you guys thinking?!” Everybody turned to look at Taemin.

“I said they were playing with each other and you two instantly thought of something wrong didn’t you?! Hahahaha” Taemin was bent over holding his stomach from laughing so much.

“You see when I say playing with each other I mean they were having a pillow fight. You two are s. Shame on you.” After that Onew turned to look at both Jonghyun and I then put his attention back to the TV. Minho stared at Jonghyun rolled his eyes at Taemin and faced the TV as well. Jonghyun walked over and sat on the floor in front of the couch.

“What are we watching?” Jonghyun asked.

“Umm we’re watching some drama. I forgot which one it was though. It’s on commercials though” Minho answered I was glaring at Taemin and then started to walk away.

“Wait hyung I still have something to tell you.”

“What is it Taemin?”

“Umm we ran out of banana milk.”

“Okay? What do you want me to do about that?”

“Hyung~ Can you please go to the store and buy some?”

“Taemin I’m pretty sure you’re old enough to go on your own.”

“Come on hyung” Taemin began to whine.

“Fine! Let me go get my sweater.”

“Alright thank you~!”

“Sure” I went to go get my favorite sweater and soon enough I was already getting my shoes on.

“I’ll go with you if you want” Minho said.

“Umm sure the company wouldn’t be bad thanks” Minho got up and walked over to put on his shoes. He already had his sweater on.

“Can I come along too?” Of course Jonghyun would volunteer to come.

“Yeah yeah the more the merrier.” He immediately ran to get his sweater and by the time he had gotten back Onew and Taemin had volunteered to come along as well. Apparently they would be bored if they just stayed home. So we all left for the store. While we were there Taemin stacked up on banana milk and any other snack he liked while everybody else did the same. When we were ready to pay the counter lady greeted us with a huge smile.

“Is this all you would like?” I simply gave her a nod. We paid and headed back home. On our way back I could hear some girls giggling after they saw us. When we arrived I went into the kitchen to put everything away. Thankfully the others came along too. Everything was put away in about 5 minutes.

“You guys we should have a movie marathon!!!”Taemin said enthusiastically.

“Which movies should we watch?” Jonghyun asked.

“All of them!” Taemin answered with a huge smile.

“Well we have a lot to choose from. How are we going to decide which one we watch first?”

“Well we can start off with either The Man from Nowhere or The Good The Bad The Weird”

“How about The Man from Nowhere? We haven’t seen that movie in a long time.” Onew was the first to pick which one he wanted to watch.

“Alright I’m cool with that” Minho agreed. They were both good movies I wouldn’t mind so I just let them decide amongst themselves.

“The Man from Nowhere it is!!” Taemin said in excitement. He immediately ran to the kitchen and started to heat up a bag of popcorn. I followed to get a bowl out to place it in. Once the bag of popcorn was ready I opened it and put the popcorn into the bowl and started to head out of the kitchen when I was stopped by the sound of the microwave opening and closing again.

“Taemin what are you doing?” He had put a bag of un-popped popcorn in the microwave.

“What does it look like I’m doing?” He said and then stuck his tongue out at me. I just glared at him and walked out after leaving the bowl on the counter. I went and sat on the couch so that I could get a comfortable seat while we watched the movies. A few minutes later Taemin came out of the kitchen with a big bowl of popcorn and a few drinks in the other hand he sat down right in front of me on the floor. I could already see them dropping some popcorn on the floor as they passed the popcorn bowl around. Boy oh boy was I going to have fun cleaning this all up tomorrow.

We watched movies until midnight. Everybody had fallen asleep which was surprising because I would have expected me to fall asleep before everyone else. I got up to put on another movie but I felt someone gripping onto my calf (I dunno what it’s called but the bottom part of the leg… I’m sure you know what I mean. Anyways back to the story). I saw that it was Taemin and I gently grabbed his hand and removed it from my calf. I got up and changed the movie but half way through I had drifted off to sleep as well.
