Twisted Guilt

Weddings & CO

- Hey…

- Hey… I answered him behind my room’s door as Sunny who thought it was the wine she ordered opened and then notified me of his presence. We took a suite at the Paradise hotel where we had checked in only 30 minutes ago. Hana who was doing better than we thought she would, went to the room as Sunny and I hung out in the living room. After speaking to Sue, Tae and Soohyuk who were almost back in Seoul and briefly to my grandmother we felt like this entire nightmare had come to an end. This was a very, very long day. So long that it made both of us loose our notion of time. Maybe some wine would help get it back had then suggested Sunny.

- I left my phone with you…He explained not oblivious to my surprised expression at his presence. Him standing in that hotel corridor where he and his friends had taken the other suite just reminded me that all of this adventure that had started 15 hours ago was indeed real.

- You did? I snapped back going back to the living room to look for my shoulder bag as he closed the door behind him entering but standing there at the entrance uncomfortably minding my space, our space. I didn’t expect such “manners” from him. I can’t believe a thought associating the manwhore and manners had just emerged from my brain. I wasn’t being myself. Too much had happened I realized looking for his belonging in my black ‘Hunting 7’ by The Row as I tried with difficulty to ignore Sunny’s glances towards me and him then me or both of us at the same time from the couch where she was sitting having a panorama on everything. - You sure you haven’t left in the car…I asked not finding it.

- No I checked alreadyI think you put in your jacket with yours…he shyly explained as he felt also observed and conscious of the appearance the situation was involving. 'Yes. Right'… I thought as the door rung for the second time. The wine had appeared. Not only did he open the door this time, he also took the wine in indicating the butler that he’ll take it from there and tipped him. Ok forget what I said earlier about him minding his space.

- Thank you Oppa…spoke brightly Sunny taking the tray close to her couch.

- You’re welcome…he spoke almost embarrassed and I frowned at the hilarious scene. What the hell was that?

- Found it…I spoke as soon as I put my hand on it. Walking towards him so this entire scene could come to an end.

- Thanks…

- You’re welcome…

- Not sleepy? He then genuinely asked putting one shoulder on the wall and I stood there trying to process what he was trying to do. Was he…was he chitchatting? Was he trying to have a conversation? Was he trying to get to know something? I was confused but still managed to answer:

- No…not…really…aren’t you not? I then hesitantly asked, not that I really care but my polite brain suggested I should ask and he was kind of controlling unfortunately.

- Yeah me neither…that was…that was a long evening…

- Yes it was…I answered with the same frown trying to guess the whole meaning behind this conversation. Gosh I couldn’t get him. How could he be so double faced I couldn’t get it.

- I should probably go…

- Oh Oppa you want some wine? Asked Sunny as I widened my eyes at her something he didn’t fail to notice from the smirking face he was putting.

- Really nice of you to ask but Ki is waiting for me, we’re going to the swimming pool…If you want to join by the way…

- Oh really? That would be-

- Thanks for the invitation…but we’re just gonna chill…here…I spoke cutting her words and highlighting “here” glaring at her as he nodded saluting her as I walked with him until the door.

- Well…then I’ll see you later I guess…

- Yes…see you later…

- Ok…

- Oppa…I surprised myself calling for him as something lingering in my mind was dying to get out.

- Hmm?

- Thank you…I said as he raised an eyebrow. - For everything…now he seemed confused, as nobody in his life had ever thanked him for anything.

- Wooky is my best friend…he felt the urge to explain as I couldn’t help but crook a smile.

- I know…I know you did it for him…I’m still thankful for the way you handled it…the way you handled us…the way you handled ‘me’ I secretly thought feeling that it won’t be necessary to say it out loud.

- You…you’re welcome…he simply said standing for few seconds before his phone went off as he received a text. He slightly frowned then looked back at me. – Should go now…Ki is waiting…he spoke to what I nodded then before resting my body on the door once I closed it.

- What was that…interrupted me Sunny in the middle of my thoughts reminding me about something else:

- Yes Park Sunheewhat the hell was that? A glass of wine? Good idea? Are you mad?

- Speaking of wine…I'mma need a glass of it as well… Spoke now Hana coming out from the bedroom as both Sunny and I exchanged a worried look.

- Sorry…we were too loud…weren’t we? Apologized Sunny.

- Yes you were…but I just can’t sleep…and you know how the noise usually doesn’t affect me…she spoke sitting also in the couch. That was true, Hana has the heaviest sleep no one I saw in my life has. You can literally throw a party right in front of her she won’t mind, a pillow and a corner would do.

- Are you ok? I risked myself to ask as she breath in like she needed to think about it before answering:

- Yes…I…I am actually fine…I tried to reflect once again on all that happened, I tried to cry a little more but…I’m just fine…she explained as I found myself taking a deep breath too launching myself on the left single couch. Letting out that heavy burden. This nightmare was finished. Now I was sure about it.

- Who was there?

- Gongju’s future hubby, he had left his phone with her…joked Sunny also relieved that this was all over. Hana laughed too. Obviously I didn’t.

- Seriously? I complained at their teasing but not really being mad about it. I’d rather have them teasing me about it than being serious about it. Something I knew they thought to delay for the moment. Enough drama for this evening.

- He even suggested we should join them at the swimming pool…added Sunny to Hana as her interest was now picked which made me remember what I forgot to do earlier:

- And you almost said “yes”…are you out of your mind? Jesus Christ…don’t do that…

- Oh c’mon it would’ve been fun…

- You should go then…this hotel swimming pool is actually amazing…spoke seriously Hana as I widened my eyes. Ok. She might not have recovered completely.

- Yeah right…why don’t you go with her…I spoke ironically sipping on my glass as they both laughed.

- I would’ve if only my boss wasn’t there…I felt like I’ve crossed to many lines already with him no need to see him half …she explained as Sunny and I looked each other before laughing.

- Well If I’m gonna be honest the vampire would be the only reason I’d love to sneak there…I confessed feeling the wine effects already. Hana scoffed as Sunny laughed loudly.

- Omg…you’re right… he’s so fit…the way he carried you earlier…

- Oh please shut up...

- The way he carried her? I’m sorry but that white soaked shirt was the only thing I could see…I dared to add as they both laughed.

- He…he was so hot…spoke hesitantly Hana after a small silent. I thought I had heard it wrong. So did Sunny.

- Oh my god…did you just acknowledge that you are...you are attracted to him? Questioned the later making Hana irk in disapproval.

- God no…no…no! That’s not what I meant…I mean…he’s…he was literally hot…I could literally feel the heat from his body…she explained with her annoying scientific tone but still with a hint of something else I was too tired to try to analyze for the moment. – Anyway we should stop calling him the vampire…he’s a werewolf…she added giving us another reason to burst into a bigger laugh.

- I disagree with that…spoke this time Sunny, I think Jihoon is the werewolf…of course she had to look at me, all I could do was rolling my eyes.

- Yeah…it does work…he’s a dog…he’s tanned also…kinda Jacob type of tanned…spoke Hana as they both giggled.

- Well too bad I’ve always been team Edward…I joked as they giggled a bit.

- But seriously…

- Don’t seriously me about him and this whole set up story I’m begging you…I whined as Hon’ avoided the subject.

- That’s not what I wanted to say…I mean…beside the whole setup arranged…marriage you’re going on…from an objective point of you…you must admit…he’s hot as !

- Oh god…I shrugged in indifference…- he’s…he’s kind of good looking…I ended up admitting against my will.

- And? Asked Sunny to what I frowned. – There’s something else beside the fact that you think he’s good looking…

- Oh there is? Spoke Hana oblivious to Sunny’s hint. God she could be so smart when it came to reading my mind. It frightened me.

- And…he might not be as bad of person I thought he would be…

- Oh my god I knew it... you…you like him don’t you? She added to what Hana widened her eyes.

- Wait what? Who likes whom? Oh c’mon Sunny are you even serious?

- No…I mean not like in a romantic type of way but more in a friendly way…you have sympathy for him right? She questioned as both were looking intensely at me.

- I need another drink…I stated as Hon immediately poured my glass. – I don’t know…I added after gulping in the red liquor. - He’s got this twisted personality it makes it hard for me to make up my mind…sometimes I feel like he’s a nice guy and the second after he turns into this freaking monster… I confessed sounding a bit too serious to what they stood silent. Not for too long as Sunny needed to add:

- Yeah I was right about him…he is a werewolf…Ji the wolf…this is his official new name…she spoke as Hon and I rolled our eyes giggling.

- What about Ki…don’t you think he’s hot? I provoked this time as she positioned herself back in the couch very excited by the question.

- Hell yeah…he’s hot as f***…you thought I won’t admit it? She spoke amused, as I felt really annoyed.

- Well you’re kind of married? Spoke Hana as I laughed. I missed their interactions.

- So what? I can’t recognize a hot guy If I see him? What kind of thinking is that…I have no problem whatsoever to admit that Ki is the hottest clown I’ve ever seen…and he’s got a tattoo…she spoke the last words to herself I choked on my drink.

- I don’t even want to comment on that…spoke Hana rolling her eyes and laughing in disbelief.

- Gosh…I wish Sue were here…spoke Sunny smiling widely but with a hint of nostalgia. – Do you think she hooked up with Wooky? She then spoke her voice full of malice.

- I wouldn’t blame her if she did…god I would jump on him after 3 seconds if I was left alone with him…I found myself saying too honestly as both girls went all crazy again at my comment. We kept on chuckling until my phone ringing interrupted us. I stood up and reached it on my leather jacket and couldn’t help but frown, as the number was an unknown. I usually never answer any unknown number but the events of the evening made me think twice before rejecting the call and ended up taking it.

- Yeoboseyo? I spoke hesitantly as the first thing I could be welcomed by was a scoff. A woman’s scoff. – Who is it? I asked.

- Oh that’s a funny question…I was about to ask the same… you know what I don’t even care just-

- ? I interrupted feeling my anger filling my head as both Hana and Sunny looked at each other. – Now you got me interested, aren’t you the own hiding your number? I spoke dropping formalities also. – Who the hell are you and how did you get this number? I added as I could hear her laughing at my words and I don’t know why but I assumed the vision of her would be scary.

- You seem to be a funny one…they usually pee on themselves just at the sound of my voice…but clearly it’ll take you a little more time to get your together and fortunately for you I don’t have that time tonight…just pass him the phone ok? Pass him the ing phone…

- What? Him? you…I spoke loosing patience and hanging up the phone. This must have been a mistake. There was no other explanation.

- What was that ? Spoke Hana.

- I don’t know…probably some drunk mad girlfriend…

- What the hell…I thought it was Shinni or something…

- Yeah no…but…yeah… no…forget it…

- What? Spoke Sunny sensing something.

- She…she did sound familiar somehow…but I’m must be – “wrong” I tried to say but got numb as I was trying to unlock my phone but couldn’t. I tried again. Again. Again. Until realization hit me. This wasn’t my phone. I tried another code and hoped that it wouldn’t work proving me that I was dreaming, that alcohol had taken the best of me…unfortunately and as you could imagine it didn’t happen. 1233 did unlock the phone, his phone. – Son of a bi... arrrrrrrgh... I screamed in frustration as Hana looked at me as I had escaped from a mental unit. I gave him my phone earlier instead of his and he knew it all along. That explained the frown at the text he received, the text I received. Now I also could get why the girl earlier sounded familiar. That was no one else than his favorite concubine calling. Han Chaeah. I felt a shiver at the mention of her name. At least she didn’t seem to have recognized me, last thing I needed was to deal with her.

- What’s going on- tried to start Hana.

- Where are you going? Tried to stop Sunny as I was already storming away.

- THE SWIMMING POOL! I yelled ready to commit a murder as I felt my friends following behind.

(…)

- What do you mean I have to wear a swimsuit? As I told you before I only want to get my phone back from that bas…I cleared my throat. – From a f…friend who has it…I don’t want to swim I just need to get my phone back…

- I truly understand miss but I’m afraid I can’t go beyond the rules of the hotel; you absolutely have to dress in a swimsuit to access the pool…spoke the young lady apologetically.

- I’ll call Hon’, I’m sure Jin Hyuk Oppa can do something about it... spoke Sunny who was by my side. Hon’ had left with the vampire after we ran into him in the lounge. He raised an amused eyebrow at us when we explained we thought he would also be at the swimming pool, before he kindly reminded us that he owned the hotel, and that he couldn’t afford to risk his credit while playing around the pool in front of his staff. It did made sense and my almost disappointed look and Sunny clearly trying to get glimpse of his torso though his shirt didn’t go oblivious to him as he kept on frowning. Hopefully it might have not made sense to his logical spirit.

- No forget it…From what I’ve understood only few people really know that he owns the hotel…I tried to explain discreetly to Sunny before switching back to the lady: - which brand are you sponsoring here?

- All our swimsuits are provided by Eres, it’s a French brand-

- Yes thank you I know, very good choice by the way. I’ll get an “Asia Swimsuit” from les Essentiels, small. That’s their classiest you probably have it…Sunny…you sure you wanna tag along? I asked apologetically.

- I wouldn’t miss that for anything in the world…do you have something in pink? Small size also. She spoke to the lady as I stood there in awe. Here I though she was coming out of solidarity, and wait a second, did she say pink?

- Huh we have actually…usually women never pick it because it’s a bikini…

- I don’t mind…she spoke excited as the women went to get the pieces as I could recognize the “vedette” top and the “pactole” bottom also from Les Essentiels, their classical line. This would look amazing on her I thought when I raised an eyebrow at what she handed me. That was the model I asked for. Size seemed to be right, only the color seemed to be a problem…

- It’s …I stated, as my shock in my eyes didn’t seem enough for her to get it.

-  It's beige to be precise and you didn’t specify the color and this one happens to be the last we have…all our classic pieces in black have been taken. I’m sorry miss there’s an usual pick of activity tonight due to some VIP clients who brought a group of gi- she cleared . – I mean a group of friends…she spoke and I guessed who that group would be.

- Omg you’re gonna look so hot…spoke Sunny as the lady nodded widely.

- You mean …I’m gonna look …she spoke as the lady tried to restrain a laugh. To what I glared.

- I’m sorry miss. But there’s a detail I omitted to add I realize, you have to dress in a swimsuit to access the swimming pool but you can of course keep your bathrobe on…she spoke as my whole face lit up.

- Ok…well indeed that’s a very important detail…thank you…I’ll take it then… I rushed while Sunny who didn’t fail showing her disappointment followed me. I was waiting for her to get ready as I was now dressed in that brown Asia swimsuit that would’ve looked amazing on a tan skin on daytime but I wasn’t tanned, and it was dark. Thus I looked almost . At least my body looked perfectly sculpted because of the paneled style at the waist. I looked at his phone that kept on ringing since I hung up earlier and I knew who was desperately trying to reach him. I kept on rejecting the call. Until Sunny finally made it out with a horrified expression on her face.

- What’s wrong? Don’t tell me you don’t like the swimsuit we just need to get my-

- Sue just texted me what the hell is wrong with Gongju’s IG…is she out of her mind…

- What? I didn’t post any …oh my god, don’t…don’t tell me he did? She didn’t tell me anything but handed me her phone where I took vision of the catastrophe. A picture of him half , taken from the swimming pool where his upper body is revealed the other half hidden in the water. Wearing a black cap saying “single for the night” as he “cutely” hides his face with his hands but revealing his eyes that are winking to the camera. I closed my eyes and worked on my breath as I had a burning sensation taking over my whole body.

- You…you should read the caption…oh yeah I forget the caption. The caption I supposedly wrote saying “I don’t think so Oppa…” and as the say itself wasn’t enough he felt it was necessary to add the emoji with two hearts instead of his eyes. That was it…me…loosing it…

- Sunny…I’m committing a murder tonight…I’m killing that motherf*cker…how do I do that Sunny you have to help me…shall I poison him, strangle him, shoot him in the head so that useless brain of his pops out?

- Ewwwww that’s gross you’re not doing that…

- I’m gonna kill him…. I’ll KILL HIM…

- No we’re gonna do better than that…

- What… tell me? Tell me…I spoke inpatient and pacing around.

- Ok but calm down you’re freaking me out for god’s sake…. revenge…give me that phone…ill take care of it…She ordered and I feared the worst.

(…)

20 minutes later we had finally found ourselves within the swimming pool filled with agitation, loud music, girls, testosterone, alcohol, some men…and of course the clown and the werewolf at the center of it. It was past 4 in the morning. We walked closer until I could meet his eyes and he was already bearing that smirk I couldn’t wait to murder. He was still in the water surrounded by at least four girls giving me funny looks as I stood in front of him my arms crossed.

-You made it Kitty…didn’t think you would…

- I wasn’t really left with a choice when I realized you had deliberately took my phone instead of yours…

- I don’t know what you’re talking about…

- Ok forgot what I said earlier, we need a gun…spoke Sunny to my ear before we both looked at our left as someone called for us:

- Hey princess, Hey dolly…I’m glad you came…spoke KiWong excited as we felt the exact same way in front of the vision of him wet and with his open bathrobe revealing his abs and the infamous tattoo Sunny mentioned earlier: a gun. A colt revolver to be more precise on his perfect toned hip enhancing his v cut and dangerously pointing at his manhood making us wonder what the rest of the pistol looked like, the barrel and the sight front of the gun being hidden by his Gucci webbing-trimmed short length shorts. Now that was a smart tattoo, it got me wondered if I ever would see the rest of it, worst I was trying to picture it. I also could finally understand why men have always fantasied about a woman who could pull of the cute & y combination; Ki was the male version of it. That was something to die for.

- Forget what I said earlier…he’s officially the hottest of all of them…I whispered as we still both were dazed and confused:

- Yah…stop drooling and get back to the conversation we were having here…Interrupted me the manwhore as Sunny rolled her eyes and gladly took the drink the clown offered her. Also, I don’t think I can call him a clown; somehow it doesn’t seem to suit him anymore.

- You mean the conversation where you were pretending you hadn’t intentionally took my phone and posted a picture of you hinting groundless things to my 250k followers?

- 250k? That’s it…I’ve got 610k…he spoke amused and I had to think twice before my brain could finally process. Was he bragging right now?

- Just give me back my phone before I burn you alive…I spoke loosing patience.

- You don’t have 610k followers, last time I checked you had 500k... spoke Ki before his eyes were about to stick out in front of his friend’s IG account. That was it. Our revenge, mostly Sunny’s one about to be uncovered. A picture of my back taken from the spa earlier as she had decided of the setting revealing my body features shadow given to the particular lighting mistaking my swimwear for my skin. As I was posing in front of the sea with my arms pulling behind my head pulling my hair and my face almost looking towards the camera mostly to tease about my secret identity.

As for the caption: M I N E, in capital and spaced letters where to describe the picture, now she also insisted on adding #herbuttismine but of course I had to interfere.

- What, is it 650k now…he asked casually looking at my phone in front of me as that was the most natural thing to do. Opening my IG, and looking for his account and choke hard on his drink. Now I was the one smirking.

- Are you out of your mind man? I mean she’s hot but you need to delete that a.s.a.p…who is she? That’s the hotel spa…

- Sure you don’t want me as your assistant…I clearly have some skills…whispered Sunny as I rolled my eyes.

- Wait a second…that…that’s you…I know that as- ehem, I mean back I’ve seen it at your wedding…he added this time addressing Sunny.

- Her bubble is no joke…

- Sunny!

- She probably used some photoretouching app, everyone has that in their phones nowadays…spoke the manwhore as I felt anger filling my body.

- What? We used your phone …Yah yah…remove your bathrobe let us show him

- Sunny what the hell no…I begged as she stopped too much to her dislike. I straighten the belt of my bathrobe around my waste.

- Give me my phone back and I’ll delete the post…

- Who said I wanted to delete it, I don’t think what’s wrong with the post…it does fit with my reputation don’t you think, actually I was thinking of changing my ID, what about Jihoe? He hinted as I closed my eyes. So what? He’s mad because of the way I named him on my phone. He was putting me through all of those silly things just because I named him JiHoe on my phone.

- Wait a second, so you got his phone and he got yours…no wonder you were stuck on it for the last hour you were spying on her life? Spoke Kutie who had finally got what all of this was about. I felt my blood boiling.

- Give me back my phone…

- Come and get it…

- Dolly why don’t we enjoy the pool while these two are fighting? Spoke Ki to Sunny to what she answered to much of my surprise “I thought you’d never ask” getting rid of her bathrobe in less than 10 seconds revealing her flat tummy, slim long legs and beautiful hips. Before I realized it she had already jumped in the water soon joined by Kiwong that had widen his eyes as much as we did in front his tattoo. I love my friends. They’re really reliable.

- Ch…I cleared my throat. Chae ah called you; you might want to answer her. I spoke wavering his phone in front of him.

- Chae ah…isn’t she your 8 years eonni…

- She’s not my eonni and if you’re so keen of the way I address her why don’t you take your freaking phone, call to apologize and give me back my phone…

- Apologize? He scoffed. – I don’t do that, I don’t care the way you address her, and I don’t care what you told her either... he spoke as she was calling for 36th time. Except that I gladly took it this time. He raised an eyebrow.

- Hello…

- YOU ING BI-

- He doesn’t care. I cut her words speaking calmly. – I told him you had called but he does not care, in fact he doesn’t even want his phone back…am I right Oppa? I spoke this time addressing him as a rage started to slowly fill his eyes. – Am I wrong?

- Hung up that phone…

- You heard him right? I spoke to the other woman who I could hear trembling of anger. I liked it.

- I’ll do as you want… just hung up the phone…he spoke again and I executed after making sure she had heard that last sentence.

- Can you give me my phone now?

- I guess I deserved that one he spoke finding back his calm…your doctor dovey called earlier, I took the liberty to tell him that you were sleeping and that I didn’t want you to wake you up…he spoke with a victory grin. – I hope you don’t mind…Oppa did that out of concern for you and nothing else…I felt each of my single muscle tensing in my body.

- Before or after the Instagram post? I asked in a last moment of control. He smirked as things were going the way he expected them to go.

- I think it was before…oups…he spoke unapologetically. I saw a waiter going by and took a shot of vodka from a tray that I killed in a blink as I could see Sunny fearing the worst. The waiter was about to complain but I gulped down a second shot as he stood still his mouth wide open. I then slowly opened my bathrobe as Sunny and Kutie started to cheer up drawing the whole attention to me. He still had this amused and smirking expression all over his face as I kept on locking eyes with him until I had completely removed it throwing it on the closest deckchair making sure to give a 360 degree view of my close to zero outfit as the crowd was going wild while he was restraining so bad his eyeballs to stick out. I thought of giving him a last warning before going on with my move but decided to brush it away. He had already gone too far. I took his phone and looked through his contact list, which I was familiar with already since I scanned it earlier already and found the particular contact I knew he would go crazy about and dialed the number making sure to press the video call option holding the phone in front of me after fixing my hair and making sure the receiver will get a good vision of me.

- What the hell is wrong with you, it’s almost 5 in the morning are you drunk- started the receiver before realizing who it was and switching immediately her expression; she had took the call even earlier than I thought:

- Omeoniiiiiiiiiiii…I spoke with high fake pitch voice. I knew she would be awake after the crisis of tonight. In fact she might be with my grandmother at this exact moment. I knew I was shooting myself along but if it was a way to knock him down I wouldn’t think about it twice. And as everything went according to my plan Jihoe was out of the water in less than 2 seconds and I hated my brain for noticing his abs and his black printed Gucci shorts before running away as he was chasing me screaming “You’re dead meat” as I could hear his mother” “Omo look who’s here, what a surprise darling…are you ok…what’s going on…” – Omeoni…I…I’ll see you later…I managed to scream as she widened her eyes when realizing her son was running behind me. “huh…ok…be…careful…” she said in confusion and I wondered what she meant exactly but was interrupted in the middle of my thought as the werewolf had already caught me, lifted me, and of course threw me in the water. Not that I really mind except that there’s a little problem. I don’t really am comfortable in the water. I can’t swim. That’s it I said it. Yes, I can’t swim. I was slowly sinking in the water and didn’t do anything to fight against it as the last thing I needed was to be humiliated in front of the entire population. I just needed Sunny to come and pick me up. Sunny does know that I can’t swim. Now that I thought about it I saw her exiting the pool and walking towards the bar with Kutie earlier. I didn’t spot her either while I was running. I was holding my legs in front of me in a sort of fetus like position as it’s the only thing that keeps me calm when I realized I still had his phone on my hand. Thank god it’s waterproof. But for how long? I’ve been there for almost one minute and as the owner heard my mind, I heard and felt the commotion on the surface of the water he created while jumping. Sunny wasn’t that heavy it couldn’t be her. I confirmed it seconds later as I looked up and saw him handing me his hand. I looked into the phone and hid it behind my back as I literally read shock in his eyes. He shook his head in disbelief and swam the last centimeters towards me putting his arm around my waste and lifting me. We found ourselves back into the surface and I finally could breath some air coughing hard as he was also catching up his breath.

- You…he hesitated…you can’t swim? He spoke in disbelief.

- Hahahahahaha…. I faked a loud laugh before putting my finger on his lips… you want me to get you a micro so that the rest of the people hear you?

- You should’ve told me are you out of your mind? He spoke this time whispering. I frowned. He did really mind what I said.

- You didn’t really give me the opportunity to let me explain while chasing me like…a crazy…wolf…I ended up saying in the same tone.

- You almost died because of a phone…

- No I didn’t…

- Yes you did…

- No I didn’t…

- Mwoya…I heard some girls complaining passing by as I looked to my left realizing how much my arms enlacing his neck while whispering things to each other looked definitely wrong.

- What? You have a problem? I already paid your thousand dollars drinks bill you guys wanted more? He spoke. They scoffed and left.

- Isn’t it the guy who usually wants more when paying a thousanddollar bill?

- I never pay when I want more; they’re too young and too easy. Plus I’m not in that mood... He spoke firmly and I felt like he was mad. Angry. But trough another shade of anger I hadn’t a chance to see yet. Without realizing it I put my hand to my mouth to restrain a gasp of horror. I was now able to analyze his shades of anger.

- What? What’s wrong?

- Nothing…are we gonna stay here for a long time or are you taking me out of here? I spoke looking around trying to spot Sunny.

- Give me my phone and I’ll get you out…he spoke. I widened my eyes.

- I knew it…I knew it…no…you give me my phone first…

- It’s over there, I’ll give it to you just give me my phone first…

- What if you leave me sinking after I give it to you?

- Yah YAH YAH ! He took a breath. – What do you take me for…you know what forget it…he spoke before dragging me to the opposite side of the swimming pool where he had left my phone. He first came out then handed me his hand that I hesitated to take before he pulled me in one movement out of the water. He then took my phone and gave it to me. – Give me my phone now. He spoke and I obliged. I immediately went to IG and deleted the post not before realizing the crazy amount of like and comments. Not to mention all the direct messages from my friends all around the world mostly consisting of “who’s that booooooyyyyyyyy” content. I took a deep breath. How was I going to explain that?

- Oh god…I heard him say as I was glued to my phone before feeling him behind my back putting my bathrobe on my shoulders. I frowned at him. – You look wet and …he explained before I immediately put my arms on the sleeves as he tighten the belt around my waste giving some deadly look around as I noticed few guys there and there fading away.

- Oh what, you can’ t handle the nonphotoshoped version?

- Shut up…you…you’re a baby ok? He explained and I laughed, as he seemed trying to convince himself.

- Whatever…you should delete it too, my picture…

- Why? I don’t want to…

- I want you to. Can you please delete it? He raised an eyebrow. Basically telling me: Do you really thing I’m going to delete it because “you want me to”. – And your mother saw me wearing that swimsuit so she’s gonna realize it’s me…

- Yes you’re right I should probably delete it…he spoke proceeding before I asked.

- How much likes did I get? I asked my curiosity taking the best of me trying to see if I had more success than him in my phone, as he looked amused.

- A lot, but you probably had even more hating comments; you want me to read some?

- No thanks…I’m fine…I spoke leaving towards the bar where I spotted Sunny who was completely oblivious to the last 10 minutes of my life. Before I stopped on my track and turned back to face him.

- What?

- Don’t do that…

- Do what? He raised an eyebrow.

- Pushing me to the edge…I admitted as I saw him slightly widen his eyes. I was right, now I was sure about it. There couldn’t be any other logical explanation behind his behavior towards me beside the fact that something about me amused him, trying me, testing my limits was the thing amusing him. Maybe he didn’t think I would figure it out.

- Why not? He said defying me and now I was the one slightly taken aback by his answer. I thought he would at least try to deny it.

- Because…I took a deep breathe and decided to be honest. – Because you might grow disappointed. I’m less rebellious that you think I am…I admitted my eyes glistering. I had just remembered the conversation I had with my grandmother and the deal I had gave in. I had almost forgot it. It felt like someone had just spilled an iced bucket on me. I could see his eyes filled with curiosity, worst concern. I could see him trying to ask for the meaning behind my words and thanked him secretly for not doing so.

- Omo omo omo…you…you’re wet, oh my god are you ok? Don’t tell you drown or something…spoke my Barbie friend to my ear. Kutie had joined also and wasn’t oblivious to the awkward moment.

- No I’m fine, can we go now? I spoke making sure to lock eyes with her; I knew she would be able to read them right away.

- Yes…yes of course we should go, it’s been really late…she spoke putting her bathrobe on as we bid quickly few goodbyes and walked away while I could hear his friend behind me ask “What did you do to her?” …Nothing. I felt like answering for him. I felt like explaining for him. The real question was what I had done to him. But he didn’t know it yet, he was soon about to know it. I remember that night was also the first time I had dreamt about him. About his arms around my waste, about me liking it and feeling that odd emptiness while waking up. I remember also blaming it on alcohol and my over trained brain.

(…)

I’m really sorry sir but the kitchen is not open at this hour of the day, we closed it at 2am. We can serve you drinks at your convenience and please note that the buffet for the breakfast will be open in less than one hour and half…explained the restaurant manager after a couple who happen to be clients of the hotel were asking to dine.

- Do I look like someone who drove 600km to eat in the hotel lobby with the rest of your clients? My fiancée-

- Darling, I think you can refer me as your wife already…spoke the lady before looking at the manager: - we’re actually getting married next week…she explained showing her ring.

- Congratulations mam…

- My wife and I came all the way from Seoul to eat at this place in particular and enjoy the sunrise.

- I’m sorry sir…the chef will arrive in few hours only for the lunch service. All we can provide at this hour is drinks…

 - Well I’m pregnant…so I don’t drink…explained the lady very disappointed as the manager frown at her husbands coughing a bit as he’d heard it for the first time but brushed it away.

- So you’re basically telling me that both my wife and my unborn child will starve for another two hours…

- Honey it’s ok…I can wait…spoke the lady uncomfortable afraid that her future husband will make a scene.

- Well I’m not ok with that…I’ve known this restaurant with higher standards…

- It’s ok…maybe we can order something…

- I am sorry mam but I would’ve taken care of it myself if you were willing to eat in your room but as you wish to admire the view from the Nyx in particular it’s impossible according to our hotel policy to bring in food within our restaurants as we haven’t checked the ingredients conformity…

- Oh I see…spoke the lady understanding.

- Sir…our hotel’s other restaurants includes breakfast menus, I do believe their staff is ready to open their kitchen and ingredients might have been delivered. How about we exceptionally prepare you something out of the usual menu according to what they’ve received and serve you right here to make sure you and your wife enjoy the view?

- Oh yes that would be so nice of you…don’t you think so? Spoke the young lady as her husband even if not over the heels nodded:

- I would appreciate that…

- My pleasure sir. I’ll be as fast as possible…spoke the manager bowing a last time and disappearing on his mission leaving the couple alone.

- He’s good. He’s very good…challenging himself, going beyond his tasks but making sure to not transgress the hotel regulation…

- He’s…he’s ok…he answered as she rolled her eyes. - And lord please stop showing off that ring If you don’t want him to realize it cost me 30$ at a drifting shop.

- What? 30$? You paid 30$ for this? God you’ve been scammed…

- Don’t worry about me Hana-ssi; I will still be able to pay my rent this month…he spoke with a crooked smile looking at the view as she looked at him for few seconds before laughing.

- What?

- Nothing…you can be funny…she admitted as he cleared his throat:

- Don’t be mistaken. I am actually really funny. He explained very seriously and this time she burst into a laugh. As he widen his eyes before he scoffed laughing also slightly.

- What you don’t believe me?

- No…no…sorry…she cleared …I had some wine earlier with the girls probably why I’m laughing for nothing…she explained as he coughed loud trying to cover her before he whispered to her:

- You’re supposed to be pregnant remember? He spoke as she observed how damn serious he was about their act in one of the hotel’s restaurant where he had recruited a whole team recently but hadn’t the time to meet them in person. He apparently loved to do that. Pretending to be a client in his own hotel. When asked if she could tag along she didn’t think twice. Work. That’s what she needed.

- Yes right…she spoke gulping in the tea she was served as he was enjoying a “stronger” drink. He cleared his throat.

- Nice…nice acting by the way…he admitted still uncomfortable at the thought of them holding hands while entering the restaurant and at the weird butterfly feeling that took over him when she said “pregnant”. It probably was due to the fact that he was not good with lies. “It’s just the adrenaline,” he told himself.

- Thank you…I can be your fake wife whenever you want to test your hotel & resorts…she whispered as he smiled.

- I’ll remember it…

- Speaking of resorts…she spoke hesitantly. – You remember the promise you made earlier…he raised an eyebrow. Suddenly it felt like it was weeks ago.

- Yes…what about it…

- Nothing…I’ll tell you later…he frowned. She had just changed her mind.

- Take your time. It’s not like you’re leaving tomorrow…he spoke sensing something. She laughed. A fake laugh. He knew it. He felt like digging more but something told him not to do so. So many had happened already in the past few hours.

- Right…she nodded sipping on her tea. 22 minutes later, (she had timed it with her phone) they were served different collations forming into an appetizing brunch she was dying to taste as she realized she turned out to be really hungry.

- He’s very very good…

- That’s your stomach speaking…

- Seriously…you have to admit it…she insisted as he thought for a few more seconds before saying:

- He’s very good. Of course he is…I’m the one who hired him after all…

- I’m not going to comment on that…she thought as they both ate silently but not awkwardly as the sky was beautifully changing colors to what they were completely drown. He knew what he was talking about, she thought to herself in front of the ravishing vision. She was maybe about to witness the most beautiful sunrise she’s ever seen. She suddenly felt curious about something she never thought she would be, him.

- What? He dared to ask regretting how shy he sounded as she was staring at him. He saw her snap back at his move and laugh internally. She could be cute.

- Nothing…she said almost in a whisper looking back towards the soon appearing sun.

- You mean something…he insisted. He even didn’t realize he did. He was acting as his guts told him to, something he usually never allow himself to do.

- It’s just that…oh no you’re going to think I’m weird…

- I already think that…

- What? Wait a second what? I am not weird…she suddenly explained very serious as he laughed.

- Don’t worry; I’m weirder than you if it does make you feel better.

- Well I’m not sure it does…she added brushing that thought away.

- So what? What was it that you wanted to say? He insisted again. She took a breath.

- I…I’m curious. That’s it.

- What’s weird about that? Isn’t it a sign of intelligence? He spoke, as she had to look twice at him. Now she knew what her friends were talking about. Clueless people could be tiring. Or was he teasing her? No, maybe not. He doesn’t know how to tease.

- I’m curious about you, that’s what I meant. She said looking straight in his eyes that she saw slightly widen while his almost nonexistent smile faded. Before he took back his composure. She then realized than someone else, “a stranger” would probably have not been able to notice all of that.

- Oh…he simply said.

- I know right…it’s weird…I’m usually never curious about people I work with…

- You mean you work for…he added as she rolled her eyes.

- It’s not weird… ‘I’m very curious about you too’ he thought secretly. – What were you curious about exactly?

- Oh nothing much…just that obviously you came here before, you’ve seen this sunrise before, which made me wonder with whom? Probably a woman. Which made me wonder what kind of woman? A friend? A lover? First love? Your fiancé? But it’s an arranged marriage. Which made me wonder, maybe you like her? I don’t think so, you two are very very different and don’t be offended but she’s a bit lacking in the intellectual parts at least…which made me wonder that maybe she’s good at some other parts…and then I ordered my brain to stop because my curiosity was going too far... She said in one row without taking a single breath. He stood there silent his eyes this time clearly wide open as she realized too late how raw were the secret thoughts she had just delivered. She gasped and put her hand in at the horrific situation. He then snapped back slowly and… laughed. Really laughed.

- Whoa…no filter huh? He asked still laughing as she slowly regained confidence at his reaction. At least he wasn’t mad. She had prepared herself to get fired. He was just…laughing. Why did it scare her even more?

- Sorry…she mumbled still cautious of her words.

- My mother.

- What? She asked with rounded eyes at his out of the blue word before she realized he was answering her question.

- My mother is the woman I used to come here with.

- Oh…that’s all she could manage to say after a silence. His mother. She hadn’t really included her in all her theories.

- I spent a lot of time here with her when I was a child. This hotel belonged to her family. She’s native from Busan. My grandfather wasn’t very good at business and he soon got entangled with a local mafia from whom he borrowed money he wasn’t able to repay. They pressured him to give them the property. Her marriage with my father was her only option to save the hotel, and her father’s dignity. He paused. She listened. - She stayed quite involved even after her marriage in the hotel’s affairs. She would come every weekend from Seoul bringing me along and teaching me hotel business…I was only a kid... He joked this time looking at her. - Then my grandfather died…in a “car accident”…she raised an eyebrow. - I’m pretty sure the local mafia had something to do with it…he explained looking trough the window as she refrained her face to be too expressive. – She was changed forever. She never forgave herself, and completely lost any interest in the hotel business…she even asked my father to put it on sale, which he tried to dissuade her from doing so but she didn’t want to hear anything else. Thank god he had sold it to a good friend of him from whom I secretly bought it back with the shares I had gathered as soon as I got discharged from the army. He explained with a crooked smile as she stood there lost in his words, in his mind from where he had opened a much wider door than she had expected. All she wanted was peak from a window.

- Why…why did you get it back? She found herself asking. She was already there anyway. In the house of his mind, why not sit for a moment. He looked at her. Not only wasn’t she annoyed by his talk, she was actually asking for more.

- Because…I…I loved my grandfather, he wasn’t very smart but he was true, honest and he cherished me even more than both my parents could ever do. He gave his all for this place, he gave his life…I just…he paused. – I just thought that if someone else than me inherited this place he…he won’t be able to rest in peace…he added almost embarrassed at his words. As he’s never told this to anyone. Which was simply true. – You see…I’m much weirder than you are…he spoke trying to break the silence and her stare that was starting to put him uncomfortable.

- No…no you’re not…you want to know something amusing? She added after a moment with a brighter expression, trying to lift the mood.

- Tell me. He simply said. He was glad she was giving him a way out.

- My…my mother…she started as he raised an eyebrow. He didn’t know much about her yet but he knew from things he’s heard there and there that it was a complicated subject: - She is from Busan too.

- Is she? He spoke really interested now.

- Yes…all of my happy memories with her belong to this place. She spoke looking through the window. She felt like adding more. Explaining that she would ran away here every time she had missed that former life where she was a happy child, with a happy mom. Every time she had secretly missed her. Every time that hatred she had built up would suddenly crumble down. Leaving her at her worst. A worst she then realized, he had witnessed. He also didn’t need her to add anything else. He already got it. He felt the exact same way.

- Now I get it…he finally said. – The thing we have in common…she frowned. She thought about it too, she didn’t think he would dare to say it out loud.

- What? She dared to ask.

- Busan blood…he admitted locking eyes with her before they both burst into a laugh, he was the one lifting the mood now she thought as the restaurant manager was secretly observing from afar the infamous secret Seoul hotel owner who was testing him that evening thinking that he wouldn’t have any clue about it.

- Miss kim…he whispered to the waitress. – Are you sure about what your swimming pool friend said? That this man over there is actually our secret owner with his assistant.

- Yes sir I’m positive. She’s never wrong… he came with the golden clan and some female friends also from important chaebol groups...it’s been confirmed also from a Seoul source… Why sir?

- I don’t know…it’s just that…either these two missed their acting vocations or they really are a couple…

(…)

- Ok you can shift up a gear now…he spoke indicating the gear level extremely focused and tensed on his seat. – What are you doing…use the gear level… he added sweating readjusting his turtle neck as he felt like suffocating:

- I put it on automatic Oppa…I cut his words.

- What? When? I didn’t show you how to do that…

- Before we left when you were explaining me useless things…

- Oh my god…he stated as he seemed to have realized something. – You lied to me…

- What? I asked this time looking at him:

- Look at the lane…please look at the lane…he begged, as his life was on strike as I obeyed and chuckled at the same time. – It’s not your first time isn’t it?

- My first time to what?

- Your first time driving a Ferrari?

- I never said It was my first time driving a Ferrari I said It was my first time driving a 458…See there’s a slight difference…

- Whatever…he spoke clearly sulky and clearing his throat.

- If you were going to be like this why give me the wheel in the first place…you have to trust me ok…your baby is safe with me…

- Huh I don’t know if you realize this but until 2 weeks ago no one had even ever got in that car, no one had ever put a finger on it…and here I’m letting you drive it so I think It’s quite obvious already that I do trust you…he explained as I felt a tingling sensation on my stomach and couldn’t feel but hate Sunny in that right moment. She had left 2 hours before me.  I woke around 12:30 as Hana and the vampire had left around 10:30 already to prepare Monday’s appointment with Kris’s father. I could get Hana and her work obsession but Sunny…how could she leave me alone with the manwhore forcing me to face these conflicted feelings he was the object of. Then it’s not like I would’ve drove back with her since Jin Oppa left his two doors BMW with Sunny and Ki as the latter begged him to, meaning that Hon’ and her boss drove back to Seoul with my car. Thus I was stuck again with the manwhore and his very forbidden Ferrari. I felt mad, really mad. Betrayed to be honest but it suddenly faded away when he suggested I should drive in the last hour of the ride. I was supposed to be cold, and grumpy that was my concept but it got all ruined because of a horse and a 597powered engine. I was a very weak person.

- You shouldn’t…

- What?

- Trust me…I said almost in a whisper as I felt him being more confortable on the passenger seat.

- Why? It’s not like you intend to run straight into a wall to avenge my “testing games”…he spoke and I stood silent. – DO YOU? He asked his eyes ready to popout as I was biting my lips not to laugh. – Yah yah yah…stop the car…stop the car NOW…he begged almost crying as I couldn’t help but burst into a big fat laugh. As his face was going though shock, anger, fear, relieve, doubt, fear then relieve again, then anger again.

- Oh my god…you should’ve seen your face…are you crying…

- No I’m not…

- Yes you are…

- No I’m not…

- Oh god…I’m the one crying now…I should’ve snapped your face…I spoke as my laugh was slowly dying.

- Bad …

- I heard that…

- Huh maybe because It was meant for you to hear it…he spoke sulky and I tried to not laugh again.

- Just to make it clear…if I was striving for revenge I’d rather kill you than lay a finger on this beauty…I explained as looked at me, thought for a second and said after a silence:

- Thank you…I really appreciate that…he genuinely stated, as I had to look twice. He was serious. – I always tell my friends to save Riri if they had to make a choice…he explained as I failed this time to impeach the crisis that took over me earlier. Riri?

- I’m being serious here…

- Yes that’s the problem…I explained between laughs as I started to breath again. – But ok…I…I’ll remember it…I added trying to dry my eyes.

- So…he started hesitantly and I feared what he was about to talk about. I wasn’t ready for that. – Am I forgiven now? He ended up asking as I frowned. That wasn’t what I was expecting. – Do you feel better? He genuinely added and I got confused.

- What…what do you mean? I honestly asked.

- You don’t have to deny it, you’re mad at me…he confronted me.

- What makes you think that?

- You didn’t say a word in the last four hours and the fact that I almost killed you yesterday might have something to do with it. He explained as I let out a small chuckle.

- You didn’t almost killed me…It’s not that I can’t swim you know…it’s just that…I have a problem with my…survival instinct… in the water…if it does make sense to you…

- Not really… do you know how to swim or not? He insisted and I took a deep breath.

- I kind of knew until my mother’s accident. You know she died in a car accident right. I…I was with her. She lost control of the car and before she could realize it we had crashed into a river. We were on a small holiday with my dad in Gyeongju, the last one…I spoke with a heavy heart. As silence was the only thing he could answer me with. – I was so small that I easily slipped of the belt but hers stuck her in her seat. She pushed me through her opened window and in a few seconds I was in the surface. I didn’t even try to unbuckle her belt…

Silence

- Your dad…he…wasn’t with you? He dared to ask after a moment.

- No…he was in the hotel. I simply stated as he paused for another moment before starting again:

- I don’t understand something…I frowned, stole a quick glance towards him and tighten my hand on the wheel. Something was weird about him. He was digging. Digging more than anyone ever did.

- What? I asked after clearing my throat.

- Why do you think you’re the one who killed her? Because you survived it, because your survival instinct was stronger? Is this why you can’t swim back to the surface when thrown in the water? God. I took a breath.  He was straight.

- No…no…I mean yes…my body, my subconscious probably feel this way since I can’t really help but to drown in the water but I know it’s wrong…I know that me surviving this accident is probably what makes her rest in peace now…

- Then what? He insisted again and I could not help but stare at him this time before putting back my eyes on the road.

- Sorry. He apologized. As I took another breath. I didn’t mean to be rude with him I just couldn’t get him. – I’m just trying to understand…you…he honestly added answering my inner interrogations but somehow making me even more confused.

- It’s complicated…I mumbled. I’d rather answer his questions than focus on the ones he’s polluting my mind with. – They had a huge fight that day…they often did. My mother…she never got accustomed to the Korean society, the Korean rules…she hated it…and my dad always felt torn up between her and his duties…that day she decided she couldn’t anymore…she threatened him to take me and go back to France and he let her do…he knew she needed to be left alone…that she would change her mind by the time she’d get to Seoul…but…I…I had no idea…I really thought she was taking me back to france…that I would be apart from my dad again…I created a mess in the car…I was screaming…crying…trying to stop her…until she lost control…I explained as he sighed and stood there silence when I secretly hoped he would say something. Which he did.

- For someone who believes in destiny you surely know how to torture your mind…

- What do you mean?

- Destiny is sometimes…not to say most of the time tragic…something we can’t control…something we can only accept…she was meant to die tragically…if you really want her to rest in peace then you should get rid of that guilt…it’s a real poison…he spoke also with a heavy heart looking somewhere far away. Too far away for me to follow. I felt something shatter in my chest but wasn’t sure of what it was exactly. Probably my conscious sending tones of electroshock to my heart not because of the weight of his words and what they meant although their impact into my soul couldn't be denied; but the fact that these same words, these…and I was afraid to admit it “comforting words” were coming from him. Him. I decided to put on the act I’m usually the best at: a coward. I had absolutely no strength to confront him, to confront me and what was about to us in that right moment. I simply ignored.

- You know what you’re talking about…I stated after a pause. I’d rather drift the conversation towards him.

- Hmm? He snapped back.

- You…you do have serious guilt issues…

- I do…he simply confessed lost in his thoughts before suddenly going back to reality: – What? How…how do you know that…I mean what makes you say that…he asked trying lamely to sound unaffected? I chuckled.

- Because It shows…it’s quite obvious…in the way you act towards Ki Oppa and also…I hesitated…towards me…probably towards a lot of other people around you too but since we’re not that closed I haven’t been able to notice more…I stopped for a moment as I felt his stare on me. He looked away after our eyes met for a few seconds. – Anyway…you…you should not feel guilty about what happened last night, or what happened 15 years ago…I finally said as I felt him frowning towards me much more intensely than he did seconds ago. He couldn’t understand it. Not what I referred to because he actually understood exactly what I was talking about, no he couldn’t get how I had managed to get exactly what was really the object of his twisted guilt. It wasn’t really obvious for me neither until last night incident. The way millions thoughts ran into his head when he realized I had difficulties in the water. He didn’t really have  the present me in his since I was safe and sound. He had the little 10 years old girl who almost drowns in the water in that Yeoju country club where our families and some others had met to play golf. Back then, he thought I was putting on an act, he thought I was trying to get into his nerves. He thought I was lying and slapped as no one ever did in my entire life after pulling me out from the water. I hated him for a long time  because of that story. “Hated him”. Not anymore I realized. – But if you intend to let me spend some time with Riri every time you feel guilty then please feel free to fill your brain with regrets, I’ll be happy to be the object of it…I joked trying to break that heavy silence. To what he reacted as I wanted him. He chucked a bit. I felt like he wanted to dig further but I secretly thanked him for not to.

Fortunately that day the traffic wasn’t heavy as we soon found ourselves in the city, in front of Sunny’s residency where I had to pick up my car.

- Oh no…I heard him say as he realized Ki was still with her even if they had arrived 1hour and a half ago.

- What? I asked parking in front of both of them.

- Nothing…you’ll see in a few seconds… he quickly explained. I actually heard and saw what he was talking about. A gasp of fear mixed with anger and betrayal as I appeared to be the one on the driver seat.

- YOU LET HER DROVE YOUR CAR…YOU LET HER DROVE YOUR CAR ???YOU TRAITOR…I AM NOT TALKING TO YOU FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE…YOU BAST-

- Hahaha…he can get quite overdramatic…he explained putting his hand on the latter’s mouth depriving him for his freedom of speech. Sunny and I managed to fake a smile at the hilarious situation as she handed me keys.

- Going home or the studio…

- Studio. I need to talk to you. To all of you. Shall we have some dinner over there? I saw fear in her look but she didn’t act according to it.

- Yes…good idea ! I’ll tell the girls…

- Ok good see you tonight…I spoke walking towards my car as I waved a goodbye to Ki Oppa who was still sulky from the scoff he gave for a reply as he sat on his bike ready to leave. He was hot. That was now an undeniable truth.

- Thank you for Riri…I had a nice ride…so I’ll see you later I guess…I spoke not sure of the choice of my words.

- Later? You mean soon…like very soon…don’t we have a wedding plan to sabotage…he spoke in a good mood as I was trying hard to hide my faded smile. I cleared my throat as my head lamely nodded but while my brain refused to produce any word regarding his latter comment.

- See…you later…I managed to mumble almost running towards my car and driving away. He was right. He was going to see me very soon, in fact he was going to see me everyday for the rest of his life.

My dear readers...

I am extremely sorry for the delay, I have been through major turnover in my professional life (ups and downs) and some quite exciting projects that I can't wait but to share with you...Happy (delayed) new year...thank you for your messages and support you had really motivated me to put myself into that endless chapter everytime I ran into your message, even if for 20 minutes. I know exactly where the story is going but sometimes my imagination forces me to go trough more detours that I orignally  had not planned and I end up frustrated as my impatience takes the best of me. However hope these little detours will suit your like...

I mention Han Chae-ah in this chapter which corresponds to the previous Yoon eun Hye character Ji hoon's all time girl friend. The thing is that I've never wanted Yoon eun hye to play that role, I like her too much for that but since I needed an actress's name in her thirties she turned out to be the first one I had in mind. After more researches, I've found the prect actress for that role which is the beautiful Han Chae-ah. (http://asianwiki.com/Han_Chae-Ah) I also mention a hotel, a tattoo few other things I invite you to discover through the links below... happy to share my inspiration...Please don't hate me too much and keep supporting Weddings & co

Chapter 42: OMG! You're back! You're here! With so many updates! Miss you! LOL! I woke up in the middle of the night to see a notification update on this. I thought I was dreaming!

And the updates...so juicy...what happened at that dinner and the big change in Sara? I feel she is backed to a corner to agree to this.

I'm curious to Wooky's reaction. He wanted that relationship with Sue but marriage is totally different. I hope he is happy with the turn of events.

Don't worry about the light interaction between Hana and Jin Hyuk. I was laughing while reading it. It is nice to read the vampire is shaken by something.

Great great updates! It is always always worth the wait. Hope you are doing fine with work and all. Take care!

Chapter 42: Finally ! I'm back...I missed you my dear reader and I am so sorry it took me forever to post these...I wanted to post this in September then December then Valentine's Day but never managed to meet any of these deadlines.
I wrote these three parts were supposed to came out as one chapter but I ended up dividing in parts so that it makes the reading easier. I had written the confrontation with Sue and her dad plus Gongju and Jihoon but I thought it would be great to insert a lighter interaction with Hana and Jinhyuk but god I got stuck forever on it... I like the idea that they would be together when they would find out about Sue's father wanting to meet Wooky but then I since I've had put so much energy writting these heavy confrontations that I couldn't write a "lighter interaction"...and since I wasn't satisfied with the results...it was just getting dragged and dragged ...and then I realized that would never be satisfied so let's just go with it...hope you like and that it doesn't sound off ! let me know what you think...I've seriously missed you !!!

Chapter 39: Wow! Such a long chapter! I was reading it since this morning (sneak reading a paragraph between work stuff...hehehe)...the wait was so worth it. I love everything.

Each and every interaction...from weird to wild (Ji-Sara), from platonic to playful (Ki-Sunny), from nothing to something (Jin-Hana)...everything was awesome.

I for one don't mind the detours. Hey, you're the author...you are driving, we are just here for the ride.

(Just a note: I particularly like how you've written Ki as a smaller character so far then all of a sudden...BAM! Now, I can't help but imagine that tattoo. LOL!)
