After studying in Paris for 7 years, Park Shin Hye decided to disguise herself as a trainee in Femme Magazine, because she wanted to dodge her responsibility to be the Director and the heiress of the group. She met her supposedly secretary Jung Yong Hwa and his gank, Jung Il Woo, Kang Min Hyuk and Yoo Seung Hoo. Together they were known as the Flower Boys of Femme. Jung Il Woo challenged Yong Hwa to befriended In Ha - the new shy and nerdy trainee which was also Shin Hye - and changed her appearance. He need to take her to the anniversary party dressed to the nines. Yong Hwa succeed in befriending with her, found out that she was not at all timid and not at all trainee. She was actually her boss. He was appointed as the PIC for the anniversary party and got even closer with Park Shin Hye. Park Shi Hoo - the creative director - told him to stay away from her. Yong Hwa tried too but eventually failed. He kissed her after the photoshoot in Bukhansan. Yong Hwa asked her to date him, after much consideration she agreed despite her grandfather's opposition and the whole company's scorn.

Shin Hye woke up in the morning on her bed, she jumped immediately thinking of the worst. She sighed in relieved when she realized that she was fully dressed and was alone in the bed. But then she heard it, the clanking sound of utensils and fragrant smell of coffee and egg. She got up and went to the kitchen, Yong Hwa was facing the stove, his back against her. She smiled at the sight of him and had a sudden urge to hug him.

She put her arms around his waist and put her cheek on his back, he was very warm, it was very comfortable being close to him. "You made breakfast?" she asked.

"You hungry?" he was still busy frying a scrambled egg, she nodded without pulling her head from his back.

"Yong-a..." she smiled lovingly

"O?" he answered briefly.

"Saranghae..." the word just slip out of , her heart was so warm that she just blurted out the L word.

She felt his body tensed up, he paused cooking. "I.. uh.." Shin Hye frowned, confused by his reaction.

She let go of him and stood beside him, she wanted to look at his face. He smiled nervously while he put out the stove and poured the egg on two plates. He immediately went to the coffee table in the living room to put them down. Shin Hye looked at him quizzically, she took the two coffee cups and made for the living room. He sat down instead when he saw she was already bringing the coffees.

He fell strangely quiet as he put one slice of toast on her plate and a pair of fork and knife. Shin Hye sat at the end of the table, facing him. She was still observing her fidgeting boyfriend who tried hard not to look at her eyes.

"Did I just make things awkward between us?" Shin Hye asked carefully.

Yong Hwa looked up at her, trying to look calm. "O!? Busunsuriya? Come, you said you're hungry." He grabbed a fork and put it on her hand.

She timidly received the fork and scooped a small mouthful of egg, she looked at him slightly hurt. "Did... you not hear what I said?" she said softly.

Yong Hwa stirred the already cooked scrambled egg, "No, I heard you." he said weakly.

"Did I make a mistake by saying it?" she asked again, she felt a lump in .

"No!!" Yong Hwa exclaimed, "What is wrong with you, Yong Hwa!!" he scolded himself. He wanted to punched himself when he saw hurt on her expression. He put the fork down and held her hands. "Thank you! I'm happy that you said that to me." he put a strand of hair to the back of her ear.

"I didn't say it expecting you would do the same. It's just how I feel. But it kinda hurt me seeing you like this." honesty was always her virtue.

"I know, I'm sorry..." he caressed her cheek. "It's just that, it's such a big word to me and I don't want to say it too rashly." he tried to convince himself that too.

She looked at him with a pair of round and hurtful eyes, "Are... you saying that I'm being too rash?"

"No!" he started to panic, he sighed desperately as he thought that he only made things worst."I know you meant it! I always envy your ability to say everything that you feel, you're like an open book and that's why I like being around you." he held her face that was facing down with both of his hands, he lifted her face and kissed her lips softly. "Look, can you please wait for me? I'm sure that I'll say it to you eventually when I'm ready... but that doesn't change the fact that I want you..." he kissed her again. "I want to be with you..." and kissed again, this time she reciprocated. Yong Hwa thank the Gods that she did. "Okay?" he pulled away from the kiss reluctantly. She nodded slowly. "Thank you..." he said while putting her in his embrace.

They stayed like that for awhile until they heard her stomach growled. Shin Hye tried to look unaffected by the incident; after all, she promised him to wait. But she could not help to think about it. She felt a familiar feeling, an alarming feeling of worry. She could not really pinpoint what it was, but she was sure she felt that feeling once. Yong Hwa kept stealing glances throughout breakfast, like he said, Shin Hye was like an open book. He knew that she was already affected and nothing could bring them back to few minutes ago when he stuttered at the word "Love".

After breakfast, Shin Hye grabbed the plates to wash them while Yong Hwa took a shower and changed into his own clothes that were already dried up. Once he came out of the bathroom, he saw Shin Hye in front of the sink and sighed. He cursed himself hundreds time in the bathroom for ruining such a great moment. He felt that she was slightly colder towards him, he hated it. He wanted his super warm girlfriend to be back.

Shin Hye felt a pair of arms s around her waist, her heart skipped a beat. There was no denying that she loved their closeness, she promised herself to let all the worries go, that it was really not a big deal.

"I have to go now." he sounded so y whispering in her ear, Shin Hye's heart fluttered.

"Arasso, I'm almost done." she turned off the faucet and took off the gloves.

Yong Hwa turned her body around to face him, he put his hands on the counter caging her. He leaned in to kiss her, there was no way he would leave her still doubting his heart. They kissed softly at first, but it slowly got more passionate and lusty as Yong Hwa made the kiss deeper and deeper. Shin Hye had to hold on to the sink to support her body. Yong Hwa eventually wrapped his arm around her body, making them even closer. When they finally were out of breath, he put his forehead on hers.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" he said in between his pant. Shin Hye still had her eyes closed, she tried to control her own breathing. She bit her lips as if wanted to savour their last heated kiss. She nodded her agreement.

Yong Hwa held her hand as he led them to the front door, he squeezed her hand while he put on his shoes. "Kan Da!" he waved.

Shin Hye smiled sweetly and closed the door, but as soon as it closed, the worried look was back. She thought for a moment and went to her bed. She opened the nightstand beside it and took a diary, her old diary that she took when she went to her old home. She opened the diary and flipped it until it reached an entry on october seven years ago.

He said hi! He asked me to go to a basketball match with him Oh My God! I think he likes me back. ^^ Kyaaaa!!!!

She read that particular line and sighed heavily.

---o0o--

Jung Il Woo stepped out of his Hyundai Santa Fe, he looked around and closed the door rather abruptly when he saw where he was supposed to go. He walked towards a pojangmacha, the one that he was not familiar with. Kang Min Hyuk called him about one hour ago and asked him to go to a pojangmacha near his house because Jung Yong Hwa - their bestfriend - called him already half drunk and told him to come out. Unfortunately for him, Jung Il Woo that is, Min Hyuk had to go to an aunt house with his parents; which leave the responsibility to tend a drunken friend to him.

What agitated him about this task was, beside the fact that Min Hyuk's house was one hour drive from his apartment, he currently did not have a great sentiment about that best friend of his. Yes, they were friends since middle school. Yes, he knew him longer than anybody aside his family. Yes, he always had been there when Il Woo needed. But he also had a tendency to be in his own world, that's a bestfriend term which could be translated as 'selfish' for others. He did not care about what people think about him, he never stopped a moment to think about what people might want, he picked up calls and ignored them at his will and he was always overly confident about knowing women. The traits that Il Woo wished Yong Hwa could get rid of.

And those annoying traits, almost all of them were suddenly coming out lately; since he grew interested in a girl named Park In Ha. He was too focused on winning the bet at first. But now that he actually liked her, his world revolved only around her. That's totally against their pact of 'bros before hoes' that they made a long time ago. But then again, this was the first time he ever seen Jung Yong Hwa liked a girl this much. In all the years he knew him, this was the first time he looked the happiest to be in a relationship. It was actually heartwarming but also enviable, sometimes he felt left out by the new happiness that his bestfriend found. A natural reaction from someone that had been closed for years.

Il Woo found the Pojangmacha that Min Hyuk described and because it was not too crowded, he immediately found his friend. There were already three bottles of soju and a plate of snack on his table. He hung his head half sober since he was never a heavy drinker. Il Woo hated the sight of a man that was overly emotional when in relationship; forgetting his friends during high times and getting drunk pathetically during low ones. And Jung Yong Hwa was practicing exactly that these days. He sighed heavily and plodded towards the table. He sat in front of him and glowered at the drunken man.

"What are you doing?" he said sneeringly, "You disappear when you're happy but now when you're drunk and depressed you called me to accompany you." he paused, "Oh wait! You didn't! You called Min Hyuk!" He was pettily jealous of his younger friend.

Yong Hwa look up and peered, "Min Hyuk-a! You look a lot like Il Woo these days..." he said smilling. He gave Il Woo a glass and poured soju in it. He raised a glass and asked for a toast. Il Woo reluctantly clank his glass to Yong Hwa's. "To love! Can't live with them, can't live without them!" he mumbled.

Il Woo scoffed, "Tsk! What do you know about love? You may be an expert in woman but you know nothing about love."

"Yeah! Why am I so scared with that word? How can you tell that you love someone? Is there even a time when you're ready to say love?" Yong Hwa stared blankly at the sky.

"What's up with you?" Il Woo frowned, Yong Hwa was never one to talk so poetic.

"Min Hyuk-a, if you told a girl that you love her, and she didn't say it back. Would you be hurt?" Yong Hwa looked at Il Woo with bloodshot eyes.

Il Woo contemplated for awhile, "I guess I would... I would think that my feeling is one sided." He said.

Yong Hwa banged his head to the table and whimpered, Il Woo jolted, "Oh No! What if she changed her mind?" he said while still resting his head on the table. "But I couldn't say it, Min Hyuk-a! How could I! Would it be okay to love someone like her?"

"Busunsuriya!! Did you hurt your girlfriend feeling by not saying you love her when she did?" Il Woo asked lazily.

"Girlfriend..." Yong Hwa chuckled, "Whooo!!!" he suddenly cheered with both hands threw fist pumps, the guests on the other table shot a nasty look at them. "My girlfriend!!" he banged his own chest with his right fist, "Isn't she pretty, Min Hyuk-a?" He laughed giddily, "And rich... and powerful. She'll get bored of me once she's on that position, won't she Min Hyuk-a?"

"Come on, let's go home! You're starting to get really annoying, much more annoying!" Il Woo tried to lift him from the chair but he brushed it off.

"How should I say it, Min Hyuk-a? Park Shin Hye, I love you... should I say it like that?" he looked at Il Woo vacantly, "Then what?"

"Then you marry her and live happily ever after..." Il Woo said casually, but he realized something strange. "Who did you say you're in love with?"

"Park Shin Hye!!! Park Shin Hye!!" he stood up and shouted but immediately sprawled back on the chair and slowly became a lump. "I love her... I love her... I need to tell her that."

Il Woo widened his eyes, he finally was able to put the pieces together. He held his bestfriend's shoulders and shook his body. "Ya! Sseolma!! Jung Yong Hwa! Tell me! Are you dating Park Shin Hye the heiress?! You mean Park In Ha is actually Park Shin Hye??" he yelled.

Yong Hwa looked up at him, trying hard to stay conscious. "O! I'm in love with my Boss." he fell on to the table and passed out. Il Woo slowly sat back on his chair gaping, his whole body was weak due to the shock from the last sentence from Jung Yong Hwa.

---o0o---

Yong Hwa massaged his temple while leaning on the elevator. He woke up with a massive hang over and had to force himself to go to work. He scrunched his face in pain when he heard his mother scolded him for drinking on work night; he thought his head was going to explode. He did not remember how he got home and just assumed that Min Hyuk brought him, he regretted his decision of drinking when he saw twelve missed calls from his girlfriend last night. To make it up to her, he decided to meet her first thing in the office.

The ding sound of the elevator sounded like a terrible french horn, but it succeeded in waking him up because he was already at the 14th floor. He hobbled his way to the printing department where she was assigned for the week. When he was about to enter the department he saw her and Kwang Soo hurriedly went out from it.

"In Ha-ya!" he called when she did not notice him there.

"O, Secretary Jung!" she exclaimed, Kwang Soo told her that he would wait for her in the lobby, she nodded and pulled Yong Hwa's arm all the way to the pantry. "Where were you last night?" She whispered, she put her hands on his cheeks and observed his face, "Are you hung over? Did you drink last night? How much?" she sounded like a machine gun.

"O! Biyane, I just notice your missed calls this morning." He hung his head.

"What's the matter? Any problem?" she asked worriedly.

"Aniya! Don't worry about it..." he shook his head and smiled weakly, "Where are you going?" he tried to divert the conversation.

"I'm going to a paper supplier with Kwang Soo sunbae." replied the girl while walking to the elevator, Yong Hwa followed her.

"Just the two of you? Where's the rest?" he recalled the last time she went with a guy to an assignment, the guy ended up falling for her.

Shin Hye scoffed, "Do you have time to be jealous, how's the party preparation going?"

"Good! Great! everything is as scheduled." he bragged.

"Gu Rae, I'm happy for you!" Shin Hye smiled sweetly, Yong Hwa wished he could wake up every morning with that smile. The elevator opened, Shin Hye stepped inside it. "You're not coming?" she asked curiously.

"I'll take the stair instead, I need to sober up." Yong Hwa said weakly.

"Arasso, see you at lunch." Shin Hye said briefly while pressing a button.

"O! I forgot to tell you, I don't think I can pick you up to the party." Yong Hwa exclaimed hurriedly afraid that the elevator closed before he had the chance to say it.

Shin Hye had a surprise look on her face, "I don't think I can come to the party, so it's okay." the door closed afterwards.

Yong Hwa belatedly realized what she just said, he frowned hard, as hard as a frown could be, "Mwo!!?" he shouted.

---

Star Media's cafeteria was one of the nicest spot in the building locating on the second floor, it was home of dozens of food vendor with hundreds of choices ranging from traditional cuisine to western food. Since every company in that building usually ate there, lunch was a perfect opportunity to meet the employee of other company; a perfect time for the Femme Flower Boys to meet.

Il Woo sat on one of the booth, playing with his food. He had no appetite since the night he went to pick up his bestfriend at the Pojangmacha. The bomb that Yong Hwa dropped about the real identity of his girlfriend really did affect him. Because of the talked that he had with Secretary Choi, he could not help to judge how selfish Yong Hwa was to keep the secret from everybody and dated her. He should have convinced her to stop role playing and assume the position. Recalling Secretary Choi about how the heiress was currently being distracted by a man, he cursed himself for having involved in the said distraction. He had no idea of how he should mitigate to this whole mess.

Min Hyuk suddenly plopped onto the chair in front of him, he had a serious look and seemed to be very exhausted. "Hyung! Sorry I'm late, I just got off from a meeting with the finance group."

Il Woo looked up from his mac n cheese, "Aniyo! Gwenchana!" He was about to say something else, when Yong Hwa threw himself on the chair next to Min Hyuk. Il Woo looked down avoiding his eyes.

"Wah! We came 10 minutes later than usual, but it's already packed like this." He looked around. "Have you ordered?" he asked to Min Hyuk, the younger guy shook his head.

"I'm going to get a bibimbap." Min Hyuk went to order his lunch.

Yong Hwa tapped his friend hand lightly after there were only the two of them at table, "What's up with you?" he felt Il Woo was too quiet, the last time he was like that was when his mother got sick.

Il Woo shook his head and smiled, hoping that Yong Hwa would not guess his troubled mind. "Where's In Ha?" Il Woo asked, belatedly regret for mentioning that name.

"She went to a company with the guy from printing." Yong Hwa took out his phone, he had been waiting for her return since she promised to see him at lunch. He wanted to know whether he heard her wrong at the end of the elevator conversation.

"How is she doing? Does she like working here?" Il Woo asked, He might as well get some insight about her.

"I think so... she had several mishaps with Hyo Rin and her assistant, but she loved working in finance and printing." Yong Hwa felt a little strange that Il Woo asked around like that, unlike him at all. Il Woo cursed silently remembering how Hyo Rin treated the trainee, he made a mental note to warn her about that.

"She's not hating the company right? She'll continue working here, right?" he probed,

Yong Hwa frowned, "What's wrong, it's so unlike you to get overly worried about a trainee." he asked, Il Woo looked down and put a mouthful of macaroni into his mouth, he did not want to push it further.

Min Hyuk sat back on his chair, he took out his phone to read a message. "Seung Ho couldn't make it, he's still held up in a meeting."

"I don't think I could join you guys either, I need to talk to her. See you around!" Yong Hwa hurriedly left the table after getting a message that Shin Hye was too busy to have lunch, she decided to have lunch on her desk.

"Everybody is busy nowadays..." Min Hyuk sighed, "And we might be busier even more." he looked sullen.

Il Woo stared at his face and caught and unusual expression, he was very worried about something. "What's wrong? What kind of meeting did you have that you come with that kind of look."

"It's the profit loss meeting, we just hit an all time low of revenue this month. But costs are still high, so we're not making much profit." Min Hyuk twirled his phone.

"So what do you think would happen next?" Il Woo put his mac and cheese aside, there was no point in forcing himself to eat something.

Min Hyuk shrugged dejectedly, "The stock price would freefall... if it's bad enough, Femme might have to sell a part of its share to gain investment." he shuddered at the thought of the possibility. "Man! I hope she would hurry up..." he added mumbling.

"What did you say?" Il Woo thought he heard more from his younger friend.

"Ani... Director Park I mean... if only she would assume the position, at least the public sentiment wouldn't be this bad and the stock price would not fall that badly." Min Hyuk said, "It's just one theory of how to save this magazine." he added to avoid Il Woo's suspicion. "O! I think my food is ready, Cham Kanmanyeo." Min Hyuk left the table hurriedly to pick up his order.

Il Woo looked at his direction vacantly, his head was about to explode with all the confusion. On one hand he had a very happy bestfriend who may finally found the love of his live, so much that he forgot to hang out with his three bestfriends. On the other hand he felt he needed to do something to help saving the place he worked at. To do so, he thought that sacrifice must be made, but he was not sure whether the sacrifice was worthwhile. His heart felt so heavy, he felt a lump in his throat, he ruffled his hair in frustration and look down. He saw Min Hyuk's phone lain around on it.

---

"Ya! Did you or did you not say that you won't be going to the party on Friday?" Yong Hwa was still panting due to running from cafeteria all the way to 14th floor. He was sitting on a chair beside Shin Hye who was eating her salad while reading something on her screen.

"What are you doing, can't we do this later? We're at work..." Shin Hye looked around afraid that people might see.

"It's lunch time, nobody is here. Why are you here?!" Yong Hwa got a little upset with her rejection. "Just tell me what you said this morning..."

Shin Hye sighed and looked at him peeved, "I said I won't be coming to the party."

"Wae!!??" Yong Hwa exclaimed in panic, in his mind there was no excuse for her not to come. He made it all for her, she had to see it. She must!

"Lee Kwang Soo sunbaenim and I went to this paper company to develop a prototype for a paper that we can use. We are preparing to present it to the bosses. I need to learn the documents, translate stuff... so much to do, so little time." she put the empty salad packaging to her desk and sip a bottle of water.

"Why would he gave you that ridiculous task when he knows that there will be a party on Friday??" Yong Hwa was more upset than thirty seconds ago.

"I don't know, he's the boss..." Shin Hye glanced sideways, "because I asked him too?" she thought.

"But you said you wanted to come to parties like this...! You suggested this party..." Yong Hwa was getting desperate.

"When did I..?" Shin Hye trailed off, "No! You said, what kind of party that a trainee like would want to have... I was putting my thinking cap!" she said defensively.

Yong Hwa let out a defeated sigh, he thought for a moment. "When do you need it by?" Yong Hwa thought he could help her to do the assignment.

"Monday!" she said, "Don't even think of helping me do it... I can manage it on my own." Shin Hye could already sense where he was going.

"You don't want me to help you, but you don't want to spare two hours of your time to come to the party. The one I've worked hard for." Yong Hwa started to feel frustrated with his cold girlfriend, he did not understand why she suddenly said she was not coming.

"Why do you make this all about you? I have work to do... I can't go to the party!!" Shin Hye was starting to feeling agitated, he can be annoying when he pestered people.

"Why are you raising your voice? And why do I feel that you lied about this whole assignment. You said it this morning, before you went with that Kwang Soo guy. How did you know that you could not go at that time, when the meeting wasn't even done yet?" to Yong Hwa something just was not add up.

"Ah! Meolla! Think what ever you want, I just can't go to the party, don't force me to do something I don't want to do!" Shin Hye tried to look more dominant, there was no way she would loose to this argument. "Harabeoji will be there, how can I go with you and danced around under his eyes.?!" she thought.

"Why are you being so selfish all of the sudden?" Yong Hwa exclaimed.

"Selfish?" Shin Hye scoffed, "You're the one who is pestering me about a party, do you think a party is more important than an assignment?" she asked.

"Is the assignment even exists? Or did you make it all up?" his heart started to race.

"Why would I even made it up?" Shin Hye looked at him as if he was an alien.

"I don't know, you tell me. YOU're the one who's been lying about something." he regretted instantly for accusing her about stuff.

"Oh My God! This is JUST an anniversary party, we can go next year and the year after that..." Shin Hye pleaded for the discussion to stop.

"The JUST anniversary party that you mentioned, I pour my heart and soul into it. I want you to see it, it was your idea..." Yong Hwa was a bit offended by her belittling the event.

"See! you're making everything to be about you again. Please stop, I don't want to go and it's final. You can be understanding about that, or not. I don't care!" she shouted and immediately left him in the middle of printing department. He wanted to shout to stop her but people was starting to come in. They greeted him cheerfully not knowing that he wanted to punched every person in the printing department. He bowed to them and made for his office, he had to step back and think for another strategy of how to take her to the party.

---o0o---

Min Hyo Rin stepped out from the warehouse carrying a folder, she was just finished checking the new warehouse that was being re-modelled by the new trainee. In just over a week the warehouse had new sign on each rack and it was strangely cleaner than before. She thought the trainee did a very good job and glad that she made the decision to ask her for additional assignment to HR. The guidelines were also revised, though content wise it was not too far from before but it was so much better than the first one. She hoped the dummies that work for her now can understood it better.

Once she was out in the garden, she was welcomed by the fresh breeze of autumn. The garden was one of the great thing about the building and one of the best thing about working in that department was that she had a lot of opportunity to pass the garden and sometimes hang around for awhile to get a fresh air. It's the perfect place to sort out your mind when you were troubled or had a look like Assistant Manager Jung.

Min Hyo Rin halted her pace and observed him; she never considered anyone in the company as her friend. Friendship was never her thing. But Jung Il Woo was one of not so many people who would occasionally greeted her and talked to her about something aside from work. To her, that was the closest thing she would ever get for a friend. And she knew how lively and cheerful her 'friend' was, so seeing him looking blankly at the orchid was something worth to be concerned with. She looked around and saw a vending machine. Thinking that it may helped to cheer him up, she went there to buy two cups of coffee.

Il Woo felt someone stood beside him and saw a very feminine hands holding two paper cups of coffee. Vending machine coffee was never his preference, but a company was always welcome. So he reached for the coffee and let the Editor sat beside him. They sat there for awhile in silence until he noticed the folder she was carrying, he knew what it was.

"So how's Park In Ha?" he did not have time to beat around the bushes.

Hyo Rin smiled briefly, "She's very good... like you said." She showed him the folder, a very neat and professional guidelines.

"In your opinion? Do you think she could survive here?" Il Woo asked, he wanted an objective judgement from the robot-like fashion editor.

She nodded, "Yes! And more... she is creative, hardworking and she has the passion in printing business. Just don't put her in the fashion department." she was being sincere.

Il Woo leaned his back on the backrest of the bench, he sighed very heavily as if all the burden in the world lain on his shoulder. The fact that she had a lot of potential to be a good leader made it even harder for him to side with his bestfriend. He looked at the editor, who was solemnly enjoying her coffee.

"Hyo Rin-a..." he called, she looked at him innocently. "If you have to choose between love and the welfare of thousands of people? What would you choose?" he thought maybe objectivity was the answer to his turmoil.

"Welfare of thousands of people... Love is overrated." Said the editor who sometimes looked inhumane.

Il Woo contemplated, he slowly nodded as he slowly made a decision. "You should tell her that she did a good job..." Il Woo pointed at the folder she was holding. "For your own good." he added an inside joke that Hyo Rin did not understand.

Il Woo and Hyo Rin sat there for awhile until she robotically scolded him for playing hooky too long. He went back in the office and sat on his chair, having a deep thought about something. He opened his drawer and took out a flashdisk, he stared at it for a long while. At some point he made up his mind, he dialled a number on his phone and put it on his ear.

"Secretary Choi, this is Jung Il Woo. I'd like to speak with the Chairman." He said after his call got through.

---o0o---

The Park mansion was built thirty years ago, just after Shin Hye's father married her mother. Chairman Park finally succeed in building a large mansion for him and his son along with his family. They were just starting to enjoy the result of their hardwork after years in printing business and trying to established a new magazine to broaden their business. The Park was not always a chaebol, it's because of years of work and perseverance that they were finally able to be a member of South Korean high society. Which was why their home was considered humble compared to other rich people, Shin Hye mother wanted a comfortable home rather than a luxurious one and since his father loved outdoor so much, they built a wooden mansion instead. However thirty years later, the mansion was still standing as sturdy as the first time it was built.

The high front gate welcomed Jung Il Woo as he entered the mansion, he gaped at the spacious front yard and the big tree that shadowing a tree house and a dog house. They were cute and homy, Il Woo imagined little In Ha running around in the tree house. Secretary Choi led him to enter the main house, once he was inside he immediately saw the large picture of the Chairman, his son, daughter in law and his two grand children. The grand daughter who was about 18 years old looked exactly like In Ha. He sighed heavily looking at the pictures.

The inside of the house was as warm as the exterior, it was not cold as the ones he saw in drama or movie, the house made him imagined to have a family of his own and raised it in that kind of home. He finally understood why In Ha, or Shin Hye, grew up to be a warm and independent person despite of her social status. The house reflected all the love that she received during her childhood that made her who she was today.

Secretary Choi cleared his throat to wake Il Woo up from his daydream, he saw the older man opening a glass door that looked like a home office. He stridden his way to the room and enter it as he was told. He gasped at the room luxury. It was very manly with book shelves as high as the ceiling, fire place and projector screen on top of it, wooden desk and two large sofas in the middle of the room. He loved it there, it exuded gallantry and warmth at the same time. He took a sit on one of the sofa while he wait for the chairman to arrive.

He instinctively stood up when the glass door opened and saw the 70 year old man walked in gallantly, he bowed to the old man and suddenly felt very nervous. This was the first time he ever interacted with the number one person of their company.

"Good afternoon, Sir." He greeted.

The chairman smiled warmly which stunned Il Woo who thought that he was an uptight rich old man, "Please have a seat, do you want something to drink? The day is a bit cold, do you want some hot tea?"

"Yes, Sir." Il Woo replied, cappuccino would have been better, or soju to ease his nerve; but tea should do it...

"I heard from Secretary Choi that you are one of Secretary Jung's bestfriend..." Chairman Park asked.

"Yes Sir, I've known him since middle school." he replied.

"I see... And you know about the relationship that he has with my grand daughter, Shin Hye?" Chairman Park asked again

Il Woo braced himself for what may come, "Yes, I just found out about it recently. He fell in love with your grand daughter, Sir. And I think she did too..."

Chairman Park still had his enigmatic face on, "And what do you think? Do you think they should continue their relationship?"
