Chairman Park walked hurriedly inside the lobby of Star Media Group building, he looked around as if looking for someone.

"Where is he? I thought you said he'll be in the lobby?" He asked to his Secretary.

Secretary Choi looked around, he too was confused. He just got off the phone with Jung Yong Hwa who said that he was in the lobby, but he's now nowhere to be found.

"Let's just go straight to the office, Sir. I'm sure he'll be there shortly."

Chairman nodded his head and intended to just walk straight to the elevator, but a pile of material that was scattered on the floor near the basement door attracted his attention.

"Security Lee." He called a middle aged security guy, the man was surprised that the chairman actually knew his name. "What is all that?"

The security officer looked on the direction pointed by the Chairman, he was surprised as he didn't see that mess just awhile ago. He immediately bowed apologetically to his boss "I'm sorry Sir, I'll look into it." He went to look for the girl who brought those clothes awhile ago.

Back in the basement stair, Shin Hye saw her grandfather stepped into the elevator, she heaved a relieved sigh and saw that she was still covering that man's mouth. She immediately realized what she had done and jumped, releasing her hostage.

"Oh My God! Can't you just be quiet for a little while? What are you? Are you craving for attention ALL THE TIME?" She yelled at him to cover her embarassment, she forgot that she was supposed to be the shy In Ha. "Look, I know you want to be a gentleman and all. But please do me a favor, next time you see me fall down, hit by a car or DYING... please! Just move along! Thank you!" she continued and left before he could say anything.

"What the...?" Yong Hwa could only scoffed in disbelief. Once he recovered from his shock and went back to the lobby, the girl and all of the mess was already gone. He was actually impressed by how fast she moved. Yong Hwa knew that the Chairman was waiting for him, so he immediately went to the 16th floor where his office was. He knocked on the door and immediately opened it once he was told to do so.

There were three men inside the room, the Chairman, his secretary and a man in a simple suit; someone he had never seen before. The three of them instantly looked at him when he came in, it was making him feel a bit awkward.

"Good you're here, let me introduce you both!" Chairman Park said pointing at the stranger, "This is Mr. Song, a private investigator. I've been hiring him since my grand daughter was in Paris."

Yong Hwa was taken aback, he did not expect that Chairman Park would introduce him to a private investigator let alone involving him even further to the whole missing grand daughter case. "Nice to meet you Investigator Song!" He said shaking that man's hand, it was a firm hand shake, very charismatic.

"I am introducing you to him, because you knew from the beginning about my grand daughter being missing. And since I have to lay low from the Board of Director, I might have to go abroad a few times for medication." He said, his hand gestures showed that medication was just a lie, "So when I'm not here, Mr. Song will liase with you, and you could do whatever means necessary to bring her back. We're now in this together. Do you understand?" He asked.

"Excuse me, Sir. May I say something?" He said, he knew he might regretted by saying anything, but he could never go against his nature.

Chairman Park looked at him, intrigued. "Sure!"

"Whatever you instructed to me, I could never say no, I will always do whatever you asked me as long as it's not a crime. But I do think that forcing your grand daughter as far as making her ran away is a bit... er... cruel, and you're gambling with the well-being of this company. What if she returned and become the Director but she's not capable?" He said, he could feel that Secretary Choi's anger level increased.

"Look young man! I know you think that you know everything... But you don't know my grand daughter. I have my highest confidence in her, I know she could do it. She is just being selfish and childish right now. And it's about time for her to grow up and bear the responsibility that she have for being an heiress." Chairman Park tried to put logic into Yong Hwa. "Please trust me in this and cooperate, I've lived long enough and had a good judgement on people, surely I know what my grand daughter can and can not do. But if you still can not accept that, you are free to give me your resignation." He said, adding a bit of a threat to the wise explanation.

Yong Hwa sighed, "Understood, Sir. I'm sorry for crossing the line." he said.

"Mr. Song, please report." Chairman divert his firm stare to his investigator.

"Well, we know that she left Paris and are now back in Korea." He said reading his little notebook.

"Oh Thank God!" Chairman Park sighed in relieved.

"But we are still looking for her inside the country, we suspect that she is either in Seoul or Busan. She is kind of hard to find because she doesn't use credit cards anymore and we suspect that she has new identity."

Chairman Park looked disappointed, "Why did she has to go through all this just to avoid me?" he massaged his temple, "It's okay investigator Song, at least I know she is save in her own country. Keep up the good work, if you have any news but are not able to reach me in this office, just look for Secretary Jung. He'll tell you what to do." The investigator nodded and said his goodbye. Chairman Park also dismissed Yong Hwa to have a private talk with his secretary.

Shin Hye finished her task - moving the wardrobe that were required for the photoshoot - way past the knock off time, the office was empty by the time she picked up the last batch of the clothes, hanged them neatly on the rack and arranged it based on sequence. It was almost dark as she walked to her apartment. She was too exhausted that she did not realize a man was following him since she left the office. He took several meters back to avoid being noticed by the girl.

Shin Hye climbed the iron stair that led to her apartment slash loft, she contemplated a bit whether she should visit her bestfriend Son Ye Jin but decided that she was too exhausted to socialize, so she went straight to her room and got ready to wash up. She took a hot shower to wash her fatigue away and she was grateful that it did the trick as she felt fresher once she stepped out of the bathrom. She was still drying her damp hair with the towel when she felt her stomach grumbled. She hated the idea that she had to cook dinner, so she intended to order a take out instead. She was just about to reach for the phone when she heard a knock on her door. She did not expect any guest and no acquaintances of her know of her whereabouts, so she excitedly thought it was Son Ye Jin; she hoped that another round of chicken and beer festival was on the way. She opened the door and stunned to see her visitor.

It was Park Shi Hoo, her second cousin who she last saw in Paris. She did not expect to see him standing in front of her apartment in Korea. After she overcame her shock, she smiled warmly.

"Oppa!! How did you know I lived here?" She said, she wrapped her arms around his and pulled him to come into her apartment.

"Yah! Park Shin Hye, you're too much! You ran away from me in Paris, you didn't even contact me when you came to Seoul, you didn't tell me when you applied and you make me snoop around just to know where you lived!" He scolded her, "You're a bad girl, you know that! How do I take responsiblity to your grand father if something happens to you? Where did you go last week when you carried an overnight bag?"

"Biyane, Oppa! I know you're busy... your recommendation for me to the company is more than enough, I can take care the rest myself." She said looking around, when she saw nothing that she could use for her Oppa to sit on, she just spread her arm, "Please, sit down anywhere..."

"You're never change, even in your own country you still lived like a beggar." Shi Hoo smiled knowingly as he sat crosslegged on the floor.

"Did you just got off from work? How did you know I lived here? Do you want something to drink? Have you had dinner?" Shin Hye asked continuously while grabbing a glass to get Shi Hoo a drink, but then she stopped and rushed to his side instead, "Oppa, I have a great idea! Lets have dinner outside, just like Paris!" she said excitedly for a great chance to dodge the need to cook dinner. Shi Hoo smiled and nodded, so they went to get a Korean barbeque. And as they walked to the nearby restaurant, Shin Hye recalled that night in Paris just after she left him at the side of Seine River.

She was still fuming after her conversation with Shi Hoo, when he tried to convinced her to go home and assume the director's position. After doing her stress ritual of punching and kicking the air while laying on her bed, a knocked came on her door. She reluctantly got up and opened the door and immediately slammed it shut when she saw it was Shi Hoo again. Shi Hoo blocked the almost closed door.

"I have an idea, hear me out for a minute. If you don't like it, I'll go and never ever persuade you again." He said seriously

"Do you have that much of confidence with the idea? So much you would gamble my grand father's love?" Shin Hye said skeptically. The man smiled challengingly to the question. Shin Hye opened the door and let him in. "How did you get in?" She asked since guest usually need to call the resident to be let in.

"I waited until someone got into the building..." He said as he looked around the shabby apartment, "Wow! This is an apartment of an heiress?" he was genuinely amazed.

"A broke heiress to be exact, Haraboeji already cut 3 of my credit cards. Not that I used them often though" She said heading to the kitchen. "Do you want a drink? Coffee? I only have the instant ones."She said.

He thought for awhile, "Water, then!" He looked around for a spot where he could sit.

"Tap water?" Shin Hye said innocently.

Shi Hoo looked at her in disbelief, "I'm fine. Don't get me anything."

Shin Hye rolled her eyes, "Oppa! Don't be such a stuck up rich people! Tap water is no different than bottled water."

"Do you know that that is still my nickname even now in the office?" He said smiling.

"Serves you right!" Shin Hye scoffed, she took a glass of water for herself and took a seat in front of him, just by the bed. She leaned her body to the bedframe. "So! What is that great idea of yours."

"Come home and work with us..." Shin Hye was about to cut him off but Shi Hoo held out his palms, "My minute has not over, don't cut me off just yet!", Shin Hye rolled her eyes and relented, "And stop rolling your eyes on me, you'll get cross-eyed!" He added.

"Tick tock tick tock..." She said impatiently, she tilted her head left and right imitating a grandfather clock.

"Come work with us, use new identity, hide from your grandfather under his nose." He said, Shin Hye was actually paying attention from then on. "It's a great solution for all of your problems. You'll get salary so you can wiggle yourself out from this dumpster without your grandfather's money aaand you get to learn about the business up close and personal. You do intent to come back, right? It's just you're not ready right now, right?" He asked.

Shin Hye gave an unconvincing look. "Maybe..."

"Shin Hye-ya!!" Shi Hoo started to loose his calm.

"Yes! Yes!" Shin Hye finally gave up, "I promised haraboeji that I'll be back in a year max..." She said still thinking about Shi Hoo's proposal. "But why would I work in that company? I can't lie, let alone in disguise, people would see right through me in a week." She said doubtful.

"Nobody knows how you look like, you're like urban legend in that company. Grand father tried his hardest to keep your identity, to protect your freedom here." Shi Hoo told her. He heard people walked in the hallway, and couldn't believe that his cousin were willing to live in an apartment with such a thin wall.

"He did? Aaaw!!" She was feeling touched by her grand father. "But why there!? I can learn about the business in other magazine or other business." she probed.

"Are you saying, you're going to work with our competitor? I'll kill you myself!!" He pretended to smack her, Shin Hye was fast to dodge. "Besides, how fast can you get a job without a recommendation? My recommendation only works in our company!" He said.

Shin Hye nodded her head, the idea was slowly sinking in and she was actually thinking about doing it. She was contemplating every possibility how the plan would go wrong, she know she would be bad at pretending to be someone. She would get nervous and jittery, she could mess the whole thing up. But on the other hand, she was completely broke, though she acted okay in front of Shi Hoo but she sometimes suffered in cold because she had to cut down the heater cost of her apartment. A nice job with a steady salary would be nice for a change. Besides, she got nothing to do in Europe anymore, seven years was more than enough to explore every nook and cranny of that continent, it's time for another adventure.

"My recommendations only valid for tonight! Take it or leave it! Without it you have to go through usual procedure! And God knows how long it would take..." Shi Hoo threatened, he needed to make sure that Shin Hye would go back with him.

"Arasso, I'll do it." She said finally. "I can do this, if I just lay low for six months, harabeoji will not realized that I'm there." She thought.

Shi Hoo took out his phone and wrote an email. "What's your name?" He said.

"Park Shin Hye..." She said in confusion.

"Not that, Dummy! The name you're disguising into." He said impatiently.

Shin Hye thought for a minute, "In Ha! I saw a great kdrama the other day, the heroine was so cool... her name was In Ha!" She said chuckling.

"Whatever!" Shi Hoo continued typing, once he finished writing, he sent the email away and looked at her. "So, Park In Ha. You'll be a trainee at Femme starting soon. I just send the recommendation to the HR Manager. So you have to go back with me on Thursday. Arrasso?" He said.

Shin Hye gave him a military salutation, "Deh, Sir!!" they both laughed.

Shi Hoo stood up, put his phone back in his pocket. "Don't you dare run away from me again!" He said while messing Shin Hye's hair.

"You're going now?" She asked as she followed him to the door.

"Of course, this place give me the jitters!" He said smiling teasingly.

Shin Hye scoffed, "That's because there's a cockroach on the back of your neck.". Shi Hoo widened his eyes in terror and immediately smacked his own neck to get rid of the bug. He froze in embarassment when his cousin bursted out laughing.

"You bad girl! Go to bed! I'll pick you up at 4 in the morning on Thursday. Be here!!" He said grumpily.

Shin Hye closed the apartment door, sat cross-legged in front of her laptop. She was thinking about the decision that she just made. Was she being too rash? Could she hide herself from her grandfather that easily? Where would she live? How should she disguise her self. The more she thought of the plan, the more excited she became. It had been seven years since she last saw her hometown, ate korean food, heard korean language on daily basis; she just realized how much she missed the country where she was born. The excitement got the better of her, so she logged into her Skype account and clicked on a contact.

"Biyane, Oppa! I'm going to do this my way." She said, a mischievous smile formed on her lips as she typed a message through her skype messenger.

Shin Hye: Ye Jin Oenni!! How are you? I need your help...

She bought a flight to Incheon for the next day, and went straight to Son Ye Jin's building. Luckily the building where she lived had vacant rooms and Shin Hye fell in love instantly with the loft. She knew that the place has a lot of potential so she spent the last bit of her savings to pay for the deposit and to get a new identity - there's nothing you couldn't get through the Korean underground forum. She told her brother that she was in Korea and instantly got scolded. He had the same concern as she was, because sometime she could be too naive to role play and he bet that she would give up in three days. Shin Hye made a mental note to slapped the back of her brother's head for not being supportive.

It's been a few weeks since she was back in Korea, and beside of a several insignificant bump the plan was going smoothly, although she was always on the edge of her seat but she started to be at ease and enjoyed the corporate life. Shin Hye and Shi Hoo walked side by side to Gwanghamun Plaza after their dinner, they had their coffee cups on hand and chose a spot to sit while looking at the King Se Jong's statue.

"Waah! It looked even more majestic during the night!" she commented the statue, she was enjoying the breeze while looking at all the people that walked pass them. It was such a beautiful night, and she needed that kind of refreshment after the exhausting day she just had.

Shi Hoo smiled, he couldn't help but notice the dark circle below her eye. "How's work?" He asked.

"It's fun! But Oppa... can I ask you something?" She looked at him curiously. Shi Hoo nodded. "Does everyone in the fashion industry need to be so cruel and demanding all the time? I thought fashion is about beauty..."

Shi Hoo laughed, "Fashion is about artificial beauty. With the technology these days, any woman can be beautiful and they need to be beautiful to be able to succeed in this industry. How would people read about how to beautify themselves when it comes from a girl who wore sweatshirt to the office?" He quipped his cousin who was now smiling in embarassment. "But because it is easy to achieve, it is easy to be snatched away either. So everybody in this industry is so self-concious and constantly rejecting a new person thinking that they will take away the cake. Especially if they thought the new person is more beautiful, sophisticated  and capable than they are" He explained.

"That's not true, some people hated me for being ugly." She said sadly.

Shi Hoo laughed, "Are you talking about Editor Min? She's just being very passionate with her work, she didn't like it if there's a people with lack of fashion works in fashion industry. Because it means that they don't work passionately, and what is worse than work without passion?" He took a sip from his cup.

"Not working at all?" She guessed, Shi Hoo laughed at her answer while ruffling her bangs. She smiled and looked back at the statue. "Aah!! Joh da!! Thank you Shi Hoo Oppa for talking me into coming home. Can you take a picture of me?" She gave her phone to Shi Hoo and posed in front of the statue. Just as she was about to walked back to him, she saw a couple walked pass her carrying a portion of tteokbokki. She ran back to Shi Hoo right away and held his arm, "Oppa, lets go to Gwangjang Market, I suddenly have a massive craving of pancakes."

"But we just ate?! I can not eat pass 10 o'clock." He said in disbelief, how can a small girl has that big of an appetite?

"Then you can just watch while I eat. Ka ja!" She pulled him to the direction of the night market.

---o0o---

Shin Hye walked timidly to the fashion department office, afraid that she would get another wrath from the assistant editor. But she was nowhere to be found and so was the rack that Shin Hye prepared the day before.

"They must have gone to review the wardrobe with the models." She thought, hoping that the review process was going smoothly. She decided to resume her work that she was doing before the screaming fest happened the day before, researching for a photoshoot location. Because she did not have her own PC, she decided to use her laptop to do the research. She was still working when she realized that it was time for lunch. So she took her wallet and came down to the cafeteria, ordered a bowl of Doenjang Jjiggae - tofu stew, and looked for an empty seat.

A waving hand caught her attention, when she was sure that it was directed to her, she went to that direction. She saw Kim So Eun, one of the other trainee that she knew. She was sitting with the rest of the trainees that by now were whispering as if hated the idea that So Eun invited her to the table. When Shin Hye got to the table, she saw the other girls. They were all dressed to the nines, full make up on their face and the smell of the perfume was enough to make her dizzy; Kim So Eun was the only one dressed more conservatively yet looked the most beautiful.

"In Ha-shi, do you want to sit with us?" She asked, Shin Hye could sense the tension from the other girls. She knew that they didn't want to be seen sitting with the ugliest person in Femme history. But being the mischievous that she was, she decided to join anyway. She was curious with their topic of conversation. "If that's okay with everybody?" She said trying to sound as innocent as she could be. The others eventually said yes, but she was put to sit on the very end of the table.

Shin Hye was enjoying her lunch without caring about their conversation but suddenly one of the girls shrieked excitedly.

"Oh My God! It's Secretary Jung and the Femme Flower Boys!" She said pointing to the direction of cafetaria door behind Shin Hye.

Shin Hye jerked a bit because of her shriek and immediately turned to see where she was pointing. She immediately ducked when she saw who the girl was referring to. It was the talkative man he met a couple of times, together with Assistant Manager Jung Il Woo, Editor Min and two men that she had never seen before. They looked like the popular gang in school, the group that would always make people turn their heads.

"The what??" So Eun asked to the shrieking girl, apparently the girl had worked longer than everybody else on that table.

"The Femme Flower boys! The hottest guys in Femme Magazine, I'm telling you, they are hotter than those Boys Over Flower dudes. Because they are real and more approachable." She said chuckling.

"Wah! It's nice to be Editor Min, isn't it? To be surrounded by that many hotness." Said the other girl.

"Isn't that Yoo Seung Ho? I saw him in the telemarketing department down at the 5th floor? What is he doing there?" asked the girl who wore a 9 centimeters heels during trainee days.

"He's a late comer... he partied a lot and just appl
