Last Chapters Recap:

After studying in Paris for 7 years, Park Shin Hye decided to disguise herself as a trainee in Femme Magazine, because she wanted to dodge her responsibility to be the Director and the heiress of the group. She met her supposedly secretary Jung Yong Hwa and his gank, Jung Il Woo, Kang Min Hyuk and Yoo Seung Hoo. Together they were known as the Flower Boys of Femme. Jung Il Woo challenged Yong Hwa to take the nerdy In Ha - which was also Shin Hye - to company anniversary party and changed her appearance during the event. After Yong Hwa decided to befriended In Ha, though she resist at first they eventually got close. Yong Hwa found out about Shin Hye's real identity and tried to distance himself from her but failed because he fell in love with her. They decided to date. He was appointed as the PIC for the anniversary party and planned the party as Shin Hye's wish. He persuaded her with all his might for her to come to the party. She eventually agreed to come to the party and with the help of her bestfriend, she came to the event dressed to the nines and amazed everybody in the office. In the party, Shi Hoo played the recording of the night when Yong Hwa and Il Woo made the bet, infuriating Shin Hye. She found out that Yong Hwa and Il Woo knew about her real identity and decided to run away from Korea. However she heard how the people in her office talked bad and spreading false rumour, and with the support from her friend she decide to assume the director's position to bring the company down as revenge towards the people there.

Shin Hye  massaged her shoulder while walking towards her apartment, it was fatigued due to the numerous paper bags that she was carrying. She raised her hands to look at the bags and sighed. This was the first time she could remember buying that many clothes, spending almost three days to shop for new work attire with the help of a stylist, recommended by Ye Jin's friend. For the first time in seven years she used her grandfather's credit card like a true heiress and spent it to elevate her appearance so that it would suit the fashion industry standard. She thought the transformation was required if she was going to execute her revenge. She passed a shop with a large windows and saw the reflection of the new her.

Shin Hye sighed for not recognizing herself at first. She was wearing a short trench coat and a skinny jeans, something that she never knew would look good on her. Her hair was now straight and silky. She wore make up and high heels, though she still preferred sneakers or boots but she had to admit that she looked rather lovely. Maybe that would have been her look all this while should she still had her mother. She took another deep breath and resumed to walk towards the four stories building.

It was just short after 6 p.m. but it was already dark, Shin Hye tried to open the gate of her building in difficulties due to the bags in her hands. Suddenly she felt a presence just beside her, she jolted when she saw a silhouette of a girl. "Omma!!!!" she exclaimed, her heart raced due to the shock. She observed the shadow intently and realized that it was her friend the chef, Son Ye Jin who was as pale as the cloud, even in the darkness it was apparent.

Ye Jin peered at her bestfriend who she had not meet in three days. The last time she saw her was when she told the younger girl to run to Han River to mend her broken heart. But now she look as alive as ever, if not more beautiful than Ye Jin ever saw her. The bags in her hands attracted Ye Jin's attention, she frowned guessing that her supposedly broke friend went shopping for that many things.

"Did you go shopping?" Ye Jin asked coldly, Shin Hye looked like she was caught red handed stealing, she immediately hide the bags behind her back, failing miserably at it. "I thought you went to the countryside to visit your family?" Ye Jin added, remembering the letter she found under her door a few days ago.

Shin Hye froze for a few seconds, "I cancelled it, they're not home." She said, glancing sideways. "I... got a promotion, I needed new work attire." she was not completely lying.

Ye Jin's expression turned sullen, "Gu Rae? Chukka Handa!" she said without looking sincere.

"Eonni!? What's wrong with you?" Shin Hye asked softly, her bestfriend did not sound and look like herself.

Ye Jin scoffed, "What an irony, you got a promotion while I lost my job..." her eyes was starting to water.

Shin Hye gasped, "Cheongmal?!" she grabbed her friend for a hug. "I'm so sorry, Eonni! What happened?"

Ye Jin hugged her back, she needed the support. "He sold the place and went off to live in Busan instead." she said.

Shin Hye pulled herself and looked at Ye Jin, she smiled sympathetically. "Do you want to order chicken and beer? My treat?"

"Of course it's you treat, I'm unemployed now!" Ye Jin joked, Shin Hye was glad that her friend could still crack a joke at times like that.

They dispersed to their respective unit and met on the rooftop space once their chicken and beer was delivered. It was chilly outside but still bearable, they thought that autumn was ending soon which means they would not have anymore chance to sit under star for the next few months, so they decided to bear the cold and enjoyed their chicken and beer out in the open.

By the time they are finishing the second box, Ye Jin was finished telling the story of how she lost her job that day. She looked upset but held on since she already saw it coming. The sad part was the fact that she had no back up plan yet. She had been meaning to plan her steps for when the restaurant closed its business for good, but that day came sooner than she thought. She was now clueless of what she would do for a living.

Shin Hye looked at her friend sympathetically, she wished she could help her. Although she actually could with the status that she really had, but with her current goal to take revenge, she could not afford to help her yet, so she decided to wait while thinking of other things to help the bestfriend.

"What about you? Did you finish your trainee days? I thought you said it would take another month or so?" Ye Jin sniffed due to the cold.

"O?" Shin Hye fidged which did not go unnoticed by Ye Jin, but she ignored it. "The office needed someone quick, so they hired me and put me in the position." she hated lying to her bestfriend.

"What kind of position?" Ye Jin said while sipping her beer.

Shin Hye tried to look nonchalant, "Just some administrative position." to her 'Director' was part of the administrative work anyway.

Ye Jin smiled sincerely, somehow it made Shin Hye felt guilty. "Good for you, Shin Hye-ya! You always work hard at everything you do... I always knew you'll succeed. Congratulations." Now she looked sincere.

"Aniya, Eonni! I'm just starting, I don't know whether I'll succeed or not." She was actually feeling restless. Although she said she wanted to bring down the company, a part of her also wanted to succeed in saving it. Either way, she was unsure if she would be able to pull through.

Ye Jin sighed, "At least you have something to do everyday..." she looked up at the sky.

"Eonni! Do you want to have dinner tomorrow? I'll take you wherever you want...". she thought surely first day of work would left a lot of spare time for dinner, "You always took care of me all this while, it's time for me to pay you back." She held her hands, "I don't want to brag, but let's consider this as celebrating my promotion." Shin Hye really wanted to cheer her friend up

The older girl scoffed, "Ya! That right there was bragging!!!" Shin Hye froze, afraid that she was offended. She sighed in relieved when Ye Jin bursted out laughing. "Gu Rae! Let's have dinner, and lunch and go to a club. You're paying! You better watch out now, I'm going to pick the most expensive place in Seoul." Ye Jin exclaimed, raising both of her hands and threw her body to lay on the bench.

Shin Hye laughed with her and followed suit. As they both fell silent watching the night sky of Seoul, their mind was in deep thought. Although both were smiling and chuckling but they were actually feeling anxious with their own problem.

Shin Hye took a deep breath and looked to her side, "Ki da ryo, Eonni! I'm going to get my revenge soon and after that I'll help you. And we could realise our dream together." She silently told her. Shin Hye made a mental note to tell Ye Jin about herself and used the last bit of her heiress saving to build a restaurant with her, a back up plan for when she was ousted from the family after executing her revenge.

---o0o---

Yong Hwa plodded his way to his desk, with a cup of coffee in hand to 'wake' him up. It was the first day he woke up without a hang over, but he felt dizzy as if he was having one. It took a great effort for him to get dressed and set off to his office that morning, he felt like the tinman from that story Wizard of Oz, weighed a ton but without heart.

His mother and sister were strangely quiet when he said his goodbyes. They looked at him concerned which he pretended not to notice. He was not ready to open up to his mother, though he was sure Soo Jung already blabbered about him and In Ha.

He passed the finance department on the way to his room and saw the desk that was usually used by Park In Ha the trainee, his heart ached. It had been more than a week since he last saw her, the day she resigned, to him it felt like a year.

All week long he felt like a robot, performing his duty in auto pilot. He could barely recall how his days was during the time, all he could remember was he sat on his desk for 8 hours, stared blankly at his screen, went to lunch alone and stopped at the pojangmacha on the way home. He finally stopped drinking when he felt a strange pain on his stomach.

Yong Hwa his computer and immediately fixated to the screen once it finished loading up. The smile that he missed was staring right at him. He sighed withholding the pain he felt in his heart looking at the wallpaper of his monitor, the smiling Shin Hye during their study session. He rubbed his face in frustration, he regretted putting that picture on his screen, he must have looked lame by now. People do crazy things when they're in love.

It had been a week since Park In Ha the trainee resigned. The office went for an uproar for awhile, some thought her action was over the top, some were very concerned that they actually confronted him about it; honourable mention to Lee Kwang Soo, Song Ji Hyo and his bestfriend Kang Min Hyuk. But what could he do, when he could not even bring himself to face her. He could only hope that she would be back, stronger than ever.

But he was thinking that he was wrong, because a week had passed and nothing happened. The uproar died down eventually and everything ran normal like always, everything but him. He was contemplating to resign as there was no sign of her coming back as trainee nor director.

The intra-office phone suddenly rang, making him jolted in surprise. He picked up the phone and went bleak when he heard the voice of the caller. "Secretary Jung!" said familiar stern voice, "Please come to the great meeting room at 9, an emergency Board of Directors meeting had been called."

Yong Hwa frowned, he was never invited in a Board of Directors meeting before, unless he was given some kind of a task. "Do I need to do something, Creative Director Park?" he asked.

"No! Just come on time!" Shi Hoo said briefly.

"What is this about?" Yong Hwa really could not contain his curiosity.

Shi Hoo audibly sighed, not even bothered to hide his annoyance. "I don't know, Secretary Jung. The Chairman called the meeting himself, I'm not his Secretary nor yours. So please stop asking and just come on time." he clearly did not like to engage unnecessary conversation with the Director's secretary.

Yong Hwa sighed weakly, the Creative Director was so provoking yet he did not have energy to be provoked, so he just glanced at his watch. He still had half an hour to do his daily task before heading out to the meeting room on the 16th floor.

---

The 16th floor was still empty when he got there, he intentionally went early so he could sit on the back. The Femme party incident had reached the BoD members' ears so the last thing he wanted was facing their insensitive question about it. He made a short trip to the restroom which was located in front of the Chairman's office and accidentally heard the elder's voice talking to someone. Yong Hwa guessed that there were three people in the room but all he can heard was the voice of the chairman and his secretary, the other person did not say a word; he frowned in curiosity when he heard the Chairman talked to the other person rather rashly.

Yong Hwa dashed back to the meeting room when he heard the elevator opened and the sound of people chattering grew louder, forgetting his initial intention to go to the restroom. He immediately sat on one of the chair at the last row. Minutes later, men and women in formal attire came into the room and took seat on the available chairs. From their conversation Yong Hwa concluded that they too were confused, they did asked for a meeting but they did not expect the chairman to fulfill it.

Once the room was full, Yong Hwa saw Shi Hoo walked in and looked around, he then went out of the room again, Yong Hwa's guess was to call the Chairman. True to his prediction, Chairman walked in followed by Secretary Choi and the Creative Director Park who looked slightly paler than a few minutes ago. He looked nervous when he took the chair nearest to the door, his eyes scanned around the room and stopped when his eyes met Yong Hwa's. They had a moment of stare off before he diverted his attention to the Chairman. Yong Hwa thought he saw a faint smile on the Creative Director's lips.

"Ahem!" Yong Hwa heard Secretary Choi cleared his throat, the attendees immediately fell silent to listen to him. "Thank you to honorary member of Board of Director who came in such a short notice. Chairman Park has important announcement that has to be delivered as soon as possible due to current situation." Once the members gave their full attention to the podium, Secretary Choi stepped to the side as Chairman Park walked towards it.

"Yes, thank you for coming in a short notice. I'm sure you are all wondering why I gathered you today when for the last three months I've been so busy to hold a meeting." He opened the meeting without prior small talk, "The purpose of today meeting is to talk about the Director's position." Yong Hwa heard faint sound of murmur as the members were starting to talk among themselves.

"So have you decide to fill he director's position, Chairman? It's been too long and we as the member wanted the position to be filled as soon as possible. Creative Director Park can no longer be left alone to handle everything!" a middle aged man spoke up.

"Yes, that's why I gather you today, I am ready to appoint someone for the position." Chairman Park said confidently, the murmur sound grew louder.

A hand raised, a voice came immediately even before the Chairman let the person talk. "But you can't just appoint anybody, Chairman. We as the member have the right to reject anybody that we think is not capable." he said defensively.

"Well! Well! President Lee, I have not announced anybody yet but you are already preparing to reject the person." Chairman said straightforwardly, the man sank on his seat. “And you are wrong, the member does not have the right to reject, they could vote to reject but it’s only valid when at least 51% of the shares owner voted the same thing.” The man sank even lower. “And I would like to remind you that I still have 35% of ownership in this company…” Chairman Park did not have to continue the sentence.

The members were starting to get nervous on their seat, they could not guess where their Chairman’s direction was. Yong Hwa saw the whisper and the murmur were getting even louder, people were shaking their heads or nodded between themselves. The meeting was in the brink of chaos. "Gentlemen... Ladies... please be seated, let the chairman finish his announcement." Secretary Choi tried to calm them.

Once the situation was a bit calmer, Chairman Park resumed the announcement. "So, as I was saying, the position is ready to be filled and I am going to introduce you to the new Director of Femme Magazine." The room was in a pandemonium, most of the members was in disbelief with the sudden decision. Yong Hwa was intrigued by the sudden news, he tried to guess who was the next in line as the director after Shin Hye. "Come on in!" Chairman said through the intercom.

The door suddenly opened, all the members instinctively stood up to have a look at the person who was striding towards the podium. Yong Hwa slowly stood up from his seat, he faintly saw a woman walking confidently in between the members that was blocking his sight. He peered at the woman in a black pantsuit, white shirt and matching heels. She was glamorous, elegant and y, but she reminded him of someone that he knew very well.

And as the woman climbed the stairs to get to the podium, Yong Hwa could finally get a better look of her. His jaw dropped instantly. It's her! The girl he missed like crazy, the woman he hoped to come back, the missing heiress in question. She was there, standing up at the back of the podium, staring firmly at the attendees. She held her head high confidently unlike the timid trainee that she was, she had the same fiery stare as the last time he saw her and she was cold unlike how he used to know her. Yong Hwa was fixated to the girl, she was so beautiful she took his breath away.

"Annyeonghaseyo! Park Shin Hye ibnida!" She bowed deeply to the attendees, Chairman Park looked at her rather proudly.

The room went for an uproar, the members had mixed feeling about the new appointed director. Some of the members that were on Chairman Park's side were clapping their hands but most of them were shaking their heads. The sound of people protesting was slowly heard.

"What is this, Chairman? Is this your grand daughter that often ran away from you?" said a woman in grey suit.

"Why is she suddenly back? Can she be trusted?" said a man at the far left of the room.

"Agashi? Are you sure you will be able to fulfil the responsibilities as a director?" said another man's voice.

People were talking at the same time, mostly asking about her capability and why the Chairman appointed her instead of someone that was more capable and experienced than her. Shin Hye tried to look nonchalant, but people's doubt was slowly affecting her confidence. Yong Hwa could sense the changes in her expression and got worried. He looked around and cursed the BoD member for being too hostile towards her.

"Yes, I'm not experienced!" Shin Hye said suddenly, making everybody in the room jolted and paid attention to her, "But to prematurely judge me as incapable is a bit unfair. I am my father's daughter and I know how much he loved this company. As his only daughter I promise you that I will not let this company ruin..." Shin Hye said in a very calm manner, she somewhat exuded charisma. "And I asked of you, to let me take over the position and proof myself to you before you completely rejected me." she added.

"What about your relationship with Secretary Jung?!" A man's voice suddenly heard. As if the room was bewitched, the members fell silent by the latest comment. They were looking at her and the man in question alternately, more people knew about the incident as the ones who did not about it were soon being updated by their colleague. The scornful look was back, directed to her and the other accomplice at the last row.  Shin Hye finally realised his presence all the way in the back of the room. Yong Hwa held his breath when their eyes met.

"What about my relationship with Secretary Jung?" Shin Hye said with the same expressionless face as if it did not affect her, Yong Hwa felt a strange pain in his stomach.

"Don't act innocently, we know you are having an affair with Secretary Jung! We all seen the video, such a disgrace to the company! It's not appropriate and not acceptable as a leader." said the man who challenged Chairman Park a few minutes ago. "How can you be so shameless and show your face here after that incident?" he sounded like scolding his daughter.

Chairman Park was getting ready to counter the man, "The last time I checked neither I nor Secretary Jung were married, so to call it an affair was a bit over the top, President Lee." She was faster than him, "And if you have time to keep up with the company gossip or watch an online video, I'm sure you know that the relationship was a big fat lie and that it's over." She looked straight in Yong Hwa's eyes. His heart shattered. "And I don't think I should be judged by my love life, it may be pathetic but it does not reflect my performance as a director." she balled her fists.

"Still, how can we trust a girl like you to able to revive the company for us?" said a woman's voice.

"No you can not, Madame Kwon! You can't trust me! Watch me at every move that I take and questioned me at my every step so I don't make mistake. But I do ask you to give me time to work and have faith in me." Shin Hye felt her voice was shaking, she hoped nobody caught that on. "The company had suffer enough, and you said yourself that Creative Director Park needed someone that can work together with him to lift it up again. Well!! I am here, take a chance on me..." Shin Hye said firmly.

Chairman Park and Secretary Choi looked at Shin Hye proudly, they were taken aback by her boldness and persistance in facing the member's scrutiny. Yong Hwa looked at her, hurt by her word but proud by her strength; he really had a mixed feeling about all this. He knew he would go through hell after this, but he was happy to be able to see her and be by her side.

Shin Hye scanned the room one more time before preparing to left the room. "I'm sure you have a lot to discuss, since I'm already appointed as the director, I'm going to start my duty as of now. You are free to discuss what your steps are, I'm going to see my people." She said firmly and immediately marched outside of the meeting room.

The members were surprised seeing her leaving the room, they tried to protest but stopped by Secretary Choi and the Chairman. Shi Hoo caught up on her outside the meeting room and tried to figure out what she wanted to do. Yong Hwa who was still standing like a scarecrow finally realised that he was supposed to follow her as her secretary. He ran as fast as he could to the door and looked for her.

"Shin Hye-ya! What happened? I thought you resigned?" Yong Hwa heard Shi Hoo's voice.

"I did! But I'm back." She said coldly.

"Do... you sincerely want the position?" Shi Hoo asked curiously.

"Is that even matter? I'm the director now, isn't that what everybody wanted?" said the robot-like girl, Yong Hwa frowned at her behaviour.

"Shin Hye-ya? Gwenchana?" Even for the stuck up Shi Hoo, she was being strange.

"O!" she said briefly, she leered when she felt Yong Hwa was getting nearer. "Secretary Jung! Please gather the people in the creative floor, I want to introduce myself to them."

Yong Hwa was taken aback, he did not expect that she would talk to him. "Deh?"

Shin Hye looked at him, cold as ever. "Aren't you supposed to be my secretary?" there was a faint smirk on Shi Hoo's face, "Did you not hear what my instruction was? Do you need me to write it for you?" Every word was like a jab to his heart.

Yong Hwa stared at her in disbelief, he expected her to be mad at him, or even hate him; but the cold and sarcastic front that she put up was hurting him. She was no longer his warm and lively girl, rather a cold hearted heiress who was waiting to stomp every living soul that had once trampled her. "Aniyo Director Park! I understood." he said while looking straight into her eyes, trying to find any residue of the girl he loved. He could not find it.

"Good! Call me at the Chairman's office once everything is set up." she said shortly and left the two men in the hallway.

Yong Hwa's shoulders dropped several inches due to the realisation. She was back, like he hoped for but unlike his imagination. She changed into someone he was not familiar with. She was cold, she was lifeless, she was scary. Yong Hwa kept looking at her back, half hoping that she would turn back, hug and kiss him. But it was all just his imagination, because the girl just kept walking and disappear to the Chairman's office.

Yong Hwa took a deep breath and made his way to the elevator. Shi Hoo was already there, holding the elevator door with an enigmatic smile. Somehow Yong Hwa felt restless with the smile, it felt like a victorious smirk as if he won something. And Yong Hwa hated when the man won.

---o0o---

The people on creative floor gathered in the pantry area, it was the largest space that could withhold all of them at once, from Creative Director to the newest trainees were either standing or sitting on the chair that usually used for informal discussion. They were all wondering why Secretary Jung told them to assemble in that place, that was the first time it ever happened during their days in Femme. They asked each other without success, only Shi Hoo looked calm, he was actually excited because his plan succeed.

Yong Hwa walked to the center of the area still looking grim, he was still upset after the encounter with his ex-girlfriend slash new-boss. The people instantly talked at the same time, they were asking him why he pulled them out of their busy hours and how long the meeting would took place. Yong Hwa looked at them annoyed, he thought they were treating him too casually; he imagined how their face would look like in a matter of minutes.

"Calm Down." He tried to silent them to no success. "Ya! Ya! Ya!" he tried again, the people were still protesting. "SHUT UP!!!" he shouted, making most of them jumped in surprise, they never saw Secretary Jung that violent before. "Can't you be a bit respectful? I'm the Director's secretary, you know!!" He bragged.

One of the contributor scoffed, "Heokkisinhe! You don't have a boss so you're basically the same with us. Why are you gathering us like this? I have a deadline to catch!" she scolded. The rest of the people murmured their agreement.

"Do you think I don't have anything to do? I'm busy too, you know!" Yong Hwa countered, they were stunned to see the ever friendly Secretary Jung glared at them. "I just got back from the Board of Director meeting." Yong Hwa heard the sound of emergency stairs door closed, he had a pretty good guess who opened it.  "There is someone who wanted to introduce herself to you." he added.

The whole floor was gathering in that area and no one spoke as they were listening to Yong Hwa's explanation; so the sound of firm and fast paced footsteps were easily heard by all of them. The footsteps sound grew louder; one by one, the people noticed a woman in black pantsuit walking towards them. They looked at each other wondering who the stranger was, it was odd to see someone they never saw walking leisurely as if it was her playground. She stood beside Yong Hwa and scanned the people, a faint smile was on her lips. People were stunned by her beauty.

"Annyeonghaseyo! Park Shin Hye-ibnida. I'm the new Femme Director!" she said while giving a proper bow, "This is my first day, I hope we could work together in the future. Please take care of me." she added.

People were surprised hearing who she was, they did not think that the position will ever be filled. All of them sat and stood up straighter, intrigued by this new person. The more they look at her, the more she seemed familiar. Sure she had a heavy make up on and dressed like a true fashionista at work, but that voice and that face did not seem to go with the artificiality.

"Kwang Soo-ya! Don't you think she looked a lot like In Ha?" Song Ji Hyo whispered to her dongssaeng. The people around her stunned at the realisation, the stranger really did look like the timid trainee that resigned a week ago.

"Who did you say your name was?" a girl voice suddenly heard from the back, all attention was focused on her now. It's Hye Ri the Fashion assistant editor.

Yong Hwa was particularly satisfied with the horrified look that was starting to appear on her face, "Park Shin Hye... she looked familiar, isn't she?" he said. Shin Hye looked at him, upset that she was being cut off.

"My name is Park Shin Hye, Hye Ri-shi!" the people gasped hearing her calling the assistant name. Shin Hye was also enjoying the terror look on the girl's face.

"How did you...?" Hye Ri trailed off, afraid of her own conclusion.

"Know your name? Why do you think she knows your name?!" Yong Hwa was irritated with her speed of thinking.

"Secretary Jung!" Shin Hye warned to silence him, Yong Hwa looked at her surprised by her scolding.

"Are... you Park In Ha-shi?" Kwang Soo was the one who had the guts to ask.

"Finally! Someone smart enough!!" Yong Hwa exclaimed, "Are you guys blind or something...?"

"Secretary Jung!!' cried the Director, she glared at her secretary who did not seem to be able to shut his mouth. Yong Hwa held his tongue, slightly offended for being reprimanded in front of people. "Yes, Lee Kwang Soo-shi. I was Park In Ha the trainee."

The pantry went on a pandemonium, gasps and exclamations of disbelief were heard all over the floor. It was so unexpected and felt surreal, the trainee that they made fun of, the one they knew as timid and easy to boss around was actually the leader and the owner of the company. Some people were now crouching on their seat, worried for their bleak future in the company. They could only hope that the heiress was not one who was petty and held grudges.

"So did you do that to spy on us?!!" Hye Ri shouted, she was understandably the most hysterical due to the news.

Yong Hwa was satisfied with her reaction, "Gu Rae! Wae? Regret much?" he barked.

"Jung Yong Hwa-shi!!" Shin Hye scolded, she hated that he kept blurting out like that. "Please go to the 15th floor and gather the people. This won't take long!" She had no choice but to chase him away.

"Director!" Yong Hwa tried to argue, he wanted to stay there to defend her.

"That's an order!" Shin Hye outfaced him; he eventually sighed in defeat and left to do what he was instructed. Most of the people were slack-jawed witnessing the banter between them. Yong Hwa was so obedient yet his eyes were wistful towards the woman. It felt like a lover's quarrel. "Aniyo! It was not intentional, it just happened that way." Shin Hye said after Yong Hwa was gone. "Although...! I'm glad that it happened, because now I have a better understanding about the company and I get to know the real personality of the people." she said coldly, it sent shivers down to several people's spine.

"So what now?" said team leader Kwon from Printing.

Shin Hye wanted to smile warmly seeing the wise elder, but she withheld. She had a reputation to keep. "Nothing, team leader Kwon. I know you are all busy preparing for the November edition. Please do so as you normally would as I get acquainted with my job." she saw him nodding that felt like a blessing to her. "And I guess I held you long enough. It was meant only for a brief introduction, I'm sorry to take your precious time longer than intended." she stared at the contributor girl who now hung her head in embarrassment. "You all may leave, thank you."

The crowd dispersed to their respective spot after they had one last amazed look at her, it was still beyond belief that the ugly duckling had really turned into a beautiful swan. A powerful yet inhospitable swan. Shin Hye observed the people sternly one by one as they left the pantry, gave a slight expressionless bow to Kwang Soo and Ji Hyo before they left. The sunbaes felt awkward with the exchange of greeting. The pantry was slowly empty leaving only two persons behind.

Min Hyo Rin stared at Shin Hye intently which made Shin Hye felt strange, she had no idea what's on her mind. The editor looked at the other person who was stayed in the pantry and saw Shi Hoo looking at the new Director in awe. She finally understood a few things happened in the past. A slight of jealousy suddenly struck her knowing the close relationships the two have. Hyo Rin took a deep breath and diverted her attention back to Shin Hye, they had a moment of stare-off.

Shin Hye held her head even higher, there was no way she bowed to the editor now. "Is there anything you want to say to me, Editor Min?" she tried hard to copy the Editor's arrogant style.

Hyo Rin looked like she wanted to say something but decided otherwise, "Aniyo, Director! Congratulations on your appointment." She said briefly and left the pantry.

Shin Hye silently let out a sigh hoping that Shi Hoo would not notice her trembling hand, she put her hands in the pocket to hide it. The cousin approached her with a wide smile, he was actually proud of his baby cousin for showing such strength and charisma in front the people.

"Well done, Shin Hye-ya! I knew you had it in you..." he praised her sincerely, "It's a shame that it took you too long to get there."

"People change when they have unfortunate event that really shook their world. It's a shame that I had to experience one." she countered.

Shi Hoo smirked, "Whatever the case... now with you and I as the leader, I'm sure we could revive the glory of Femme like the old days."

Shin Hye glared at him coldly, "Don't be so sure, Oppa! I still haven't decide whether to save or ruin this company." she left him to do another round of shocking people in the 15th floor. Shi Hoo looked at her with slightly terrified look.

---

Yong Hwa closed the door of his office abruptly, threw himself on his chair and huffed. He was chased away again by Shin Hye during the introduction session to the 15th floor people, just because he tried to defend her from people's question about her motive disguising as a trainee. He knew he was not supposed to talk when he was not asked, but he still felt the people was attacking his girl and could not help to stand up for her. It was embarrassing being scolded by her in front of those people.

Now that he was alone, he finally could really think about what this all meant. She was back and had become the director whose office was behind him, which meant he could see her everyday. He smiled at the thought of that.

No matter how angry she was with him, surely she would eventually softened. Besides, as far as Yong Hwa knew, she was a sweet girl to the core; so even if she was mad, he was sure he could handle her rage. He only hoped that she would not ask him to resign, otherwise he was ready to do whatever it takes to win her over again.

His phone suddenly making a lot of noises, notifications from a Whats App group chat were flooding in. He checked the application and found out the Femme group chat was erupting. The group chat that was initially made for fun stuff was now in ruckus, the participants of the group was discussing the new Director, completely forgetting that her secretary was one of them.

Lee Hong Ki: Oh God Damn!! She's hot!! Did she look like that when she was a trainee?

He was one of the finance personnel, Yong Hwa had a sudden urge to beat the crap out of the guy.

Han Chae Ah: Yeokshi! There's really nothing money can buy.

Lee Hong Ki: Why didn't I notice her before!!! She's smokin!! Not as smokin as during the party though *drool

Kang Min Hyuk: Ya! Ya! Ya! Watch it! She's your boss...

Yong Hwa made a mental note to hug Min Hyuk.

Kang Bo Ram: But! Why did she have to disguise herself as a trainee?

Lee Hong Ki: Why? Did you do something to her during her training? Are you afraid of being sacked? Hehe...

Kang Bo Ram: If she fired me because of that, it means she isn't worthy of being the Director. She needs to focus on performance not on personal vendetta.

Lee Hong Ki: Yup! She's scared!

Kang Bo Ram: Shut up, Hong Ki!

Shin Hye was not back from the meeting, but the banter between the people was happening rapidly; Yong Hwa wondered how they could still manage to exchange messages during the meeting. Shin Hye would be furious if she finds out.

Han Chae Ah: Look at her! The boys are practically drooling over her... Il Woo sunbae! Blink! Breathe! Do something or you'll faint!

Yong Hwa frowned at the mention of his so called ex-bestfrend.

Lee Seung Gi: I overheard the trainees talked, they think she's a snob. Now that she's a director, she didn't even say hi to them.

Han Chae Ah: Why would a director talk to the trainees?

Lee Seung Gi: They said she's scary, she didn't look and sounded like In Ha at all. She's like completely different person. She's a total fraud, don't know which one is fake though.

Kang Min Hyuk: Stop texting and pay attention!!!!

Lee Hong Ki: God! She's hot! Yong Hwa Hyung really has a good eye on girls. How could he even notice all the hotness under those baggy clothes?

Han Chae Ah: Maybe he knew that she was the heiress all along...

Kang Min Hyuk: KemanHe!!

Han Chae Ah: Oh Shut up Min Hyuk-a! Don't be such a nerd, she wouldn't notice... and Yong Hwa sunbae is upset to her. Did you see his face when she told him to leave? kkkkk...

At the mention of his name, the group became silent; they finally remembered that they were gossiping about his girl in front of him. Yong Hwa smirked when they left the group one by one, his guess was they made another one excluding him from it. He sighed heavily realising that her road as a Director might not be smooth after all. People were already judging her from her days as a trainee, not to mention the infamous relationship she had with her supposedly secretary; it did not look good on her CV actually. Yong hwa wondered what made her decide to assume the director's position anyway.

He was still in deep thought when the door was opened and the woman in his mind appeared. She took a brief glance at him who looked like was playing with his phone, and went straight to her office without saying anything. Yong Hwa jumped
