Foreword
“Flight 852 to Hong Kong is now boarding.”
It announced all over the airport. It was a busy at the airport despite the early morning 3am schedule. Visitors and Locals roamed around with their luggages in hand along with their tired traveling eyes.
“Baby, wake up.” Jackson tapped Mia’s cheek lightly while she was sleeping soundly on his lap.
“We need to go. Our flight’s boarding.” He said in a hush tone.
“5 more minutes..” She whined. Jackson chuckled at his now girlfriend who doesn’t have plans on waking up. He leaned in and pecked her on the lips repeatedly to annoy her and wake her up.
“Alright.. alright. I’m up” She said in between kisses.
“Good girl.”
It wasn’t their usual 3am hang outs they had in the terrace. Nor the late night trips to the convenience store. It was a different setting. A different venue.
How did they ended up here? And why isn’t Mia going back to her home country?
