Please don't go
Odds Are In Our FavorMia woke up the next day without Jackson by her side. She saw a note on her side table.
“I’m sorry for last night. I’ll make it up to you. I’m filming in China right now. I’ll be back later. Wait for me. I love you, J.” It read.
“When will it be the day when I wake up with you by my side again.” Mia said outloud staring at her phone’s lockscreen of Jackson’s face while she checked the time.
She continued to do her errands throughout the day. Focusing back to her work and finishing up her editing to send it to the client before the deadline.
By the afternoon, she finally finished a project and sent it through the email. She smiled and sighed after being relieved from finishing a work. She decided to check her inbox once again for other replies from the agency she sent in last night.
“It’s just been a few hours..” Mia convinced herself.
She stared back at the cover letter she sent in reading word for word of her reason why she wants to apply to their agency. She then heard a pin code being typed in the apartment. It was Jackson.
She immediately closed the window as soon as Jackson came in.
“I’m home!!” Jackson said in a cheery mood with a bag in his hand. Mia smiled at him and run down the stairs to greet him.
“Hiiii.” Mia said after embracing into a hug.
“Are you still mad at me?” Jackson said after releasing her from the hug and cupped her cheeks.
“I wasn’t mad, I was just.. sad that’s all. But I’m okay. How’s filming? Did you have a good flight back?” Mia queried.
“Filming was filming.” Jackson shrugged. “I got you something to make it up for last night.” He said as he got her hands and sat together by the sofa.
Mia watched as Jackson went through his bag pulling out a box. He handed it to Mia who was scrunching her nose as she received it.
“Open it. Open it!” Jackson said excitedly.
Mia slowly opened the box and found a beautiful strappy heels.
“I thought it’d suite you!”
“Oh my god, baby! You shouldn’t have!” Mia said dumbfounded at the gorgeous heels in her hands.
“Try it on!” Jackson said as he got one shoe from her and wore it for her. She stood up and went to the full body mirror to check it out.
“It’s beautiful babe.” Mia said admiring the heels she’s wearing. Jackson s his hands around her waist hugging her from the back.
“I’m glad you liked it. I know it’s not enough to make up for last night. But this is just the start, don’t worry.” Jackson said as he kissed the side of her head while Mia was snuggling her head back closer.
“Start?”
“Yeah, I’m going to spend the whole day today with you.”
“Jinjja?? You don’t have a schedule today??” Mia said turning around to face him.
“Nope. I’m yours the whole day.” Jackson smiled at her.
“Let’s start with this..” Jackson said as he cupped her face and pulled her in for a kiss. It’s been awhile since they’ve made out.
They felt each other’s need as the kiss went deep and passionate. Jackson ran his hands on Mia’s thighs slowly grabbing her to carry. He carried her to the nearby sofa momentarily letting go of the kiss and undoing her heels.
Jackson dived in again kissing Mia by the lips and leaving trails of butterfly kisses through her cheeks, jaws and down to the neck. Mia s her hands to lift Jackson’s shirt and jacket off from him. Their clothes dropped to who knows where while they made love. It’s been months since they’ve touched each other like this, it’s been months since they’ve seen each other’s body, slowly caressing each part and not leaving a skin untouched and unkissed.
They had a couple rounds more until the night came and the whole apartment was dark. The city lights are once again the only thing that lit the room.
“I love you..” Jackson said after pecking her lips now back in his boxers and shirt.
“I love you too.” Mia replied after wearing nothing else but Jackson’s sweatshirt.
Jackson stood back up and went to the patio.
“Where are you heading?” Mia asked after she rolled into her belly.
“You’ll see.” Jackson smiled at her as he went to her room and got a few things. Mia watched as Jackson busied himself by the patio. He then went over to the kitchen to re-heat some food Mia made last night. Mia sat silently smiling at how attentive her boyfriend is right now.
Jackson by closing the curtains by the patio as he did some few touches. Mia scrunched her nose while she patiently waited for him to prepare.
Jackson went back in, kissed her and got her hands. “Come with me.” Jackson said pulling her up and towards the patio. She smiled after Jackson pulling the curtains open revealing a gorgeous candlelit dinner for two along with glasses of wine on the floor with pillows and bedsheets.
There were candles everywhere and the city light view with the stars flickering was the cherry on top. Mia smiled ear to ear seeing how he made effort.
“A simple, candlelit, picnic dinner for two.” Jackson said as he pulled her in for a seat by the patio.
"This is beautiful baby." Mia commented as she then sat next to him as they cling on their wines for a drink.
“Let’s eat!” Jackson said as he gave her some cutlery and laid a table napkin on her lap. She continued to watch Jackson as he helped himself with the food she made the night before.
“Mm!! This is delicious babe!” Jackson said after sipping Mia’s homemade galbittang dish.
“Really? It’s good???”
“Yeah! It’s always good babe.” Jackson said with a kiss on her cheeks. “You’re like the perfect wife in the future too.” He disclosed as he grabbed a spoonful of soup.
“Eat slowly, you’ll burn your tongue.” Mia chuckled watching Jackson eagerly eat his meal. She got a nearby tissue and wiped the side of his lips.
“See, perfect wife.” Jackson smiled cheekily at her. Mia scrunched her nose.
“Stoooop, I’m blushing. It’s annoyingggg.” She whined as she hid her face. Jackson swe
