Soonyoung and I quickly run out from the class right after the bell rang—a signal to students that the class is over. Soonyoung take out the key from his pocket and both of us almost stuck in between the door because we tried to dash into the club room at the same time

“Ah!” we both groan in pain, Soonyoung throw a death glare at me and so do I, “Don’t you learn about ‘ladies first?’” I hiss “You are not a lady” he replied as he pulls my body to open the way for him

Later on, Soonyoung quickly turn on the computer as I already ready to open the web browser. We’ve been informed that they will announce the result on that evening.

I nervously keep pulling the hem of Soonyoung shirt as he keep tapping the keyboard, entering the website address
“Oh God I’m so nervous” I chime as I keep tapping my foot on the floor. “Hurry up” I command as Soonyoung’s hand getting busy

“Congratulations to “Hoshi&Byul” you’ve won the 3rd place”

“WE WON!!!” Both of us shout it excitement as we clapping our hands like a seal “Thank you partner” Soonyoung said as his sheepish smile haven’t left his lips yet. “Thank you too partner!” I beam as I wrap my hand on his shoulder. “Indeed we are a good team” I continued and we both nodding in agreement.

It was the first photograph competition that both of us joined since the day we had a camera. I don’t have the courage to join it but Soonyoung who is always like to challenge himself was able to pull me together to join him.

He said, “We should challenge our self—if we did not try it then we will never know and improve our self”

“I should celebrate this” Soonyoung chime as he stand up, I look up at him and pout, “Hye it suppose to be us” I snap. He look at me as he ruffles my hair, “you can celebrate with anyone that you like then”

“I’m going to celebrate this with my princess” His chime as he grab his bag and throw the key at me, I startles as I almost miss the chance to catch the key

“See you later partner” he chime as he leave the room

Betrayer

Fixing my messy hair, I shut down the computer. 

Celebrate with anyone that I like huh?

Grabbing my bag, I was wondering

Should I call Wonwoo and share this news with him?

But why should I call him?

He might found me annoying—

Besides we are just ‘friends’

After making sure that the door is lock, I turn to my left—deciding to just go home and ask mum to cook something for me but heaven just block my plans—
 

Without I realize it—my eyes grow bigger

Without I realize it—my lips crack into a smile

Without I even can control it—my heart beating goes faster
 

And it only happen because of Jeon Wonwoo

“Wonwoo!” I beam it excitement—it feels like the heaven is helping me by making this situation happened. I was excited to tell him about the completion, there are so many stories that I want to tell him. I was hoping that he will lift up his head and throwing his charming smile as usual

However

He did not smiling at me,

He did not even lift up his head,

He is ignoring me,

“Wonwoo ah” I call out his name as I snap his wrist, stopping him from leaving me without even greeting me. This is not the usual Wonwoo and it makes me nervous.

He stops next to me and remain silent

“Did something ha” I couldn’t finish my word when Wonwoo suddenly harshly pulling his wrist away from me

And leave

I guess I should not have to call him

I guess he has problems

I guess

My heart is hurt

I found myself wandering from another place to another place instead of going home—I can’t stop thinking over what has happened that evening. 

What makes him gloomy?

What kind of problem that is disturbing him?

“Next Station—Wangshimni—Exit on your right—Wangshimni—Exit on your right”

I lazily stands up and getting ready to jump out from the train

Maybe I should go home and sleep

Maybe I should text him

Maybe I should not do anything

I lazily walking in the subway station as I look around—most of the shop are closed. I glance at my watch and it shows ten thirty o’clock—it’s getting later

I stop walking when my eyes caught a familiar figure not too far from my position

It’s Wonwoo

He is in black hoods and jeans—he was leaning on the wall with eyes eyeing on the floor—

What is he doing here?

Why would I bother to know?

I was hesitate

Should I approach him?

What if he ignoring me likes what he did this evening?

My mind is telling me to ignore him

But my heart is telling me to approach him

And I followed my heart

Standing few centimetres away from him I slowly call out his name, ensure that I did not hurt or disturbing him “Won—woo?”
He look upward and our eyes met—he let out a sigh, a sigh that I couldn't understand. I was surprise—yet I tried to control my expression—My lips crack a smile—a forced smile—

And the next thing that I know is

I was in his embracement
