Chapter 1
Subway Station
According to government, subway is one of the public transports that were developed to help people save their time and money. However, for me subway station is hell especially during peak hours, people walk as fast as they can, it seems like they are in marathon, the one who walk faster win and the one who’s not will lost;
What it is mean by losing—it means you will lose your train, like me. If there’s an award, I’m sure I will receive it.
I miss my train again this morning, as usual the only things that I can do is to sigh as I kick the floor with my old Nike shoes that my mother bought for me last year.
Stretching my body I glance to the left and without I even knowing it, my lips crack into smile.
He was there
Jeon Wonwoo, the fox—lookalike boy was there—again—standing alone in daze. He wears his usual grey sweater again. I’ve seen it more than twice this week and it makes me wonder did he even wash it or not.
We went to the same school but he doesn’t even know that I exist, he seems like he always in daze and live in his own world. Sometimes I wonder what he thought that make him always in daze.
The sounds of train approaching pull me back to the reality, same goes to him. He straighten his body as he wait the train’s door to open and let the passengers walking out from the train before he slowly walking inside and goes straight to the backside the train.
He always there, standing as he look out through the window in daze again, Even when there’s an empty seat, he won’t sit until he arrive. I keep glancing at him throughout the crowd. The curiosity strike my cells but I don’t have any reason to get closer to him
The train has arrived
Both of us walk out from the train and walk toward the same direction—yet he still in his world and did not even realize that I was following him up close. This boy is freaking tall—for me who did not even reach hundred sixty centimetres—Wonwoo looks like a wall
I saw him dashing right to his class as soon after we walk into the school. I bite my lips as I walk into my class—why we are not in the same class—I always ask that question
Sigh
“Byul” I look upward and Soonyoung was there, standing with a grin on his face—I know he got something in his mind—and it is not a normal thought—this guy is famous as the mischievous boy in this school—alongside with Seokmin and few others kids
“What do you want?” I lazily ask him, I’m not in the mood to play around with him. “I need your help” he said as he pull a chair and sit in front of him, I look straight at him in the eyes. “And I bet it’s not regarding school right?” I asks and he smile as he pat my head, “Aigoo—my friend is so smart”
“Don’t touch my head” I exclaimed as I push his hand away—it’s a habit I guess, but I hate it damn much when people patting my head—don’t you even dare to pat my head—I’m not your puppy.
“What do you want?” I ask him in annoyed; I won’t get myself involve with a guy like him if and only if he is not one of my childhood friends.
I was speechless as I look at him—“Do you want me to get Minji and Seuljin to join the blind dates?” I ask him once again and Soonyoung just cutely smile as he nodding. “Did you mean the glamorous Minji and—that quite girl Seuljin?” I asks him once again and Soonyoung just nodding again. Sigh—its mission impossible
“What will I get if I help you for this?” I ask Soonyoung and he looks surprise, “you did not expect me to do this for free right?—you know nothing is free in this world even though we are friends—right?” I continued, Soonyoung frown as he ask me, “What do you want then?”
“Bring Jeon Wonwoo to the blind dates as well”
