“Let me come with you~ “ Luhan rose up from the coach, Sehun chuckled and poked his chest making him sit back down. Luhan blinked his eyes.

“No, you stay in, I will go get the smoothies myself, you cook something till I get back. I don’t like fast food on new year’s eve.” Sehun said.


Luhan gasped for air loudly arching his back in his sleep. Minseok was alerted and woke up by the sudden movement by Luhan. He pressed the button to the bell to call in the nurse.
‘Cause Luhan was having another nightmare.

Jongin sat on the floor a crying mess. All he managed to say was “No” between his sobs and cries. Emily, on the other hand, looked it up, typing Mirror-touch synesthesia and she wasn’t happy with the results. At first, she thought it was something that couldn’t be possibly real, then she dug in some more and was stunned by the results, that’s when Jongin has already calmed down bit by bit by the help of Sehun who held his hand and assured him multiple of times.  

Little by little, Jongin relaxed and held the phone from Emily, locked it and placed it aside. He organized his breaths and nodded,
“It’s proven…” He sighed, “To be true, it’s proven to be true.”

“What is? Am I so sick?” Sehun asked rubbing Jongin’s back. The latter looked up at him with sympathy clearly read in his eyes. Sehun was more concerned about Jongin thanhimself, as if he was talking about someone else.

To Sehun, he was swapped by Jongin’s feelings that he couldn’t feel his own. He couldn’t understand what was going on but the panic Jongin was letting to roam inside of him, it got to Sehun, he knew it but he just couldn’t understand it.

With a shaking hand, Jongin placed his palm on the floor next to him supporting his weight, getting up. Sehun and Emily gave him a hand and helped him sit on the couch. He held Sehun’s hand to sit next to him which he did. He turned to him still holding his hand,
“ It’s a rare condition, it causes the patient to feel what others feel and touch, it’s in the brain, it mirrors the acts and touches, the neurons cells fire alerts as if the person is going through the act himself.” Jongin sighed tightening his hold on Sehun’s palm as he went on,
“There are three conditions… “  Jongin pressed a finger to Sehun’s forehead and poked the center of it gradually harsh making Sehun squeeze his eyes a bit but still looking into the doctor’s eyes alerted.
“Make sure the patient is actually conscious.” Jongin nodded,
“The second is, testing if the act is not normally stimulating to others.” Jongin was already rubbing his nose for the nth time. Emily did the same and so did Sehun.

“This, doing what you two just did is normal, ‘cause I’ve been scratching my nose for some time now. But this…” Jongin turned his head, sneaked his hand behind  Emily’s neck and kissed her cheek. Sehun rubbed his cheek and moved his neck a little. Jongin pointed at what Sehun just did,
“That, a kiss on your cheek and a hand on your nape, that’s not normal.” Jongin then leaned his head back on the couch,
“And you did that at the very moment that it was happening to her which fulfills the last condition.”

Silence was the only thing spoke for an hour before Jongin decided to take his turn,
“Sehun, you area synthetic. As your doctor, I will give you some dos and don’ts and you have to stick to them no matter what.“

Sehun nodded in return, he inhaled a very long breath,
“Jongin, let’s just watch something on TV, let’s change this atmosphere.” Emily started turning channels searching for something worth watching.

She found Home Alone and decided to let it. It was awkwardly silent at first but seeing the scene where Kevin has made fun of the pizza guy making him shriek away, they couldn’t help laugh.
